~Hunter's 1st Birthday Party~

My precious baby boy, I love you so much! I thank God every day for blessing us with the perfect gift anyone could ever imagine. You light up my life when you entered this world a year ago today. I never thought this day would ever come when I raised you from a baby to a 1 year old. My how time flies. You have made daddy & I very proud of you, and led us down a very happy road. Words cannot express how much you have changed in our lives. You are the core to my apple, the baby boy who can spark up a room, my heart, my tootabug, monkey, monster, my all and everything! Thank you Hunter for being the most precious, sweet, happy, baby boy any mother could ever dream of!!! I wish you many more days of fun and happiness to come! We love you so dearly! ♥

This was my baby a year ago
now just look at him so grown up into a boy.

-------
My, what a long weekend it has been! My mom flew in just fine last Thursday. I was so happy to see her. She was a adored by seeing Hunter. Fell head over hills! :) He has adjusted to Grandma just well!!! She is always playing with him, keeping him entertained. :) I mostly cleaned all weekend for Birthday party. Friday morning mom & I did get up to go hunting, but didn't see anything. Bummer! Then Saturday at noon we went dog hunting for awhile, no luck. :(

Sunday was the big day for my little man!!! I skipped church to prepare for that morning since the party was at 2. Tammy came over to help mom & I clean a bit more, then we set up the decorations, & got everything together.

While in the process of taking a break my hubby comes in the kitchen asking me this:

Hubs:Kim are you ready for this day to begin.

Me:Sigh, no not really but I guess we have to face the truth that our baby boy is turning 1.

Hubs: Yeah, I guess so, you've been planning for this day for a while now, and it's finally arrived

Me:I know

I guess you can say I was ready and excited but at the same time I wasn't. :)

I got every thing set up in the house, tables decorated, balloons hung up, Wayne & my mom picked up the cake from Publix (which turned out wonderful), then they got the 13 pizzas we ordered. Everything was falling into place! It was almost 2 when Hunter started whining because he was very hungry and sleepy. I started to feed him while people showed up, then decided we should eat first so that could give him time to nap (he sure did need it if he wanted a great birthday party). We set up a kitty pool outside and thanks to our friends (Kim & Tighe) we had a blow up slide, for all the kids to play in. After everyone ate pizza they took the kids outside to have some fun in the sun, while Hunter napped a little while longer.

at the beginning of the party we asked each guest to sign this picture framewe thought this was a great gift for Hunter to look back on, and remember all his guest that attended his party
family and friends

After a while I woke up Hunter, after all I didn't want him to miss out on his big day! :) He sure wasn't expecting all them people in the house when he arrived in the living room. He didn't know how to react. I sat him down for presents, and everyone gathered around to watch. Bless his heart, he was a bit shy, but once he found some paper to play with he was fine. He got many of presents, a beautiful picture frame, learning books, puzzles, leap frog caterpillar, lots of trucks, clothes, lawn-mower popper, etc..

~my mom made this for him, and I absolutely was in shock & loved it~

And last but not least...drum role...... "what's that coming around the corner mommy?"

he got this awesome gift from Nanny & Grandaddy
his all time favorite gift was his four-wheeler, go figure :) His face just lit up the room when he saw this! Too cute!!!

Then it was cake time, the part I've been waiting for

We brought the bigger cake into the living room since all was crowded around him while on his four-wheeler and sang Happy Birthday. Then we headed to the kitchen for the fun part. He was a bit shy at first on what to do with his cake sitting in front of him, then dug right into it! He loved it, and it got everywhere!!! :)

After most of the guest left, I wanted Hunter to enjoy some pool time as well. I went to grab his swimmers, then headed outside to change his clothes. Of course he was riding his four-wheeler, so as I got him off and undressed him, he slips away from me and gets right back on it Naked!!! It was so hilarious!!! We had to take a picture.

So I finally put his swimmer on, and headed into the pool. He had a blast!!!
After all he had an amazing birthday! Thanks to all our friends and family for a special moment shared with our precious baby boy!!! This will truly be a lifetime to remember and many more to come! We really enjoyed everything!!!

xoxo

At the end of the day, we let Jesus have his birthday balloons! :)

(please don't pay me NO attention, just look at the boy) :)
Sorry this post was a few day late, it took me forever to put it together! Hope you enjoyed the pictures! ;)
