Pictures at 8 months

Last night after getting my toota bugs out of the bath I spiked his hair into a mo hock, he,he! I thought it was cute, kinda reminds me of the picture of me when I was a baby. Anyways I wanted to show off Hunters walking and crawling skills too. Even though he's not moving in the pictures, I still wanted to take one of him.
Oh and here's a recap on Hunter in the past 3 months.

Wordless Wednesday/ One Foot in Front of the Other

So I have posted this picture already, but its the cutest thing I have seen. he,he.
----------
Last night before putting Hunter in the bath, I had him stand up while holding my fingers, and you should have seen him walking. He actually steped one foot in front of the other. Yay, now he has learned to move them legs and feet!!! Won't be long! :)

Fun in the Sun

We had another beautiful day here in SC.

Sunday we enjoyed the outdoors and soaked up some more lovely sun. I took Hunter outside in his pool for the first time, and he loved it. Of course he kept on trying to pull the grass up on the side of his pool instead of playing with his toys. He thought it was funny every time I pulled him away from the side of the pool, he would giggle.
I cleaned off the deck that evening, it sure did need it. The deck had pollen all over it, so I washed everything off and cleaned it. Now we can sit on the deck without sneezing.

he did not like this hat on his head :)

------------

Later that day Wayne was thinking how he could cut down some trees in the yard, and found a baby copper head in our ditch. YIKES! Did you know that I had Hunter a sheet laid out in the grass not too far from this snake. How terrifying is this to know our yard isn't safe because of these poisonous creatures. I'm sure where there is a baby snake, there is a mama and more babies not too far away.

-------------
Its Monday and I am so SLEEPY. Last night Hunter decided he wanted to wake mommy up at 2:30 this morning. I wasn't too happy knowing that in 2 hours I had to get up for work. I think his tummy was a little upset because I fed him a 4 oz. bottle then he threw it up all over me. Then when I tried laying him back down, he wanted to whimper and cry, so I tried feeding him a bit more of his bottle. After that he seemed fine. He was full of giggles and must have thought it was play time.

That boy, I tell you.

I had to sneak out of his room so he wouldn't see me. He must have finally fallen asleep right after I left, because as I got out of my bed a SECOND time to check on him he was out. It was almost 4 when I got back to sleep, then the alarm goes off at quarter til 5! I did NOT want to get out of my bed this morning!!!

What a interesting day this is going to be! :( NOT
Have a great Monday!

8 months

Hunter turned 8 months old today. My how fast that boy is growing. It seemed just yesterday I was pregnant with him. (thankfully I'm not now)

Me @ 8 months

These are a few things Hunter can do with his mobile skills.

-sits up

-pulls up

-says da,da,ba,ba

-crawls pulls his upper body across the floor by dragging his legs (lazy :))

-waves bye, bye (sometimes)

-gets into everything

-picks up tiny objects with fingers

My how much he has accomplished over the past few months.

I will try posting pictures of how much Hunter has changed in the past few months later.

----------------

All weekend the weather in South Carolina was in the 80's! A very beautiful weekend. I pretty much tried soaking up as much sun as I could by laying outside most of the time. Hunter played in his play yard in shade while I laid in sun.

------------

Saturday morning I got up at 9:00 4:30 to go Turkey Hunting with my father-n-law. We had a meeting at our club house at 9 that morning so before the meeting we figured we could hunt since it was the last week of turkey season. Of course we didn't see anything, but we did see LOTS of mascittos and fog, fog, fog. I kept on dosing off every 5 seconds, man I was so sleepy. Anyways Wayne & Hunter came up to the club house a little before 9. We stayed for a while, then Hunter & I went home. Wayne & Dennis stayed and cleaned around the camper.

As I got home I wasn't so sleepy anymore, so I went back outside to soak up some more sun.

That evening I cleaned the house for a while, then went to bed at 10. I was so worn out by time I hit the bed.

Wasabi Dinner/ Toy Box

I'm not even sure where to begin writing. I do know that for some reason, I'm not in a good mood for writing much today, so you'll probably see more images than writing. Bare with me. :)

I have had very short busy weekend.

--------------------
Thursday evening my sweet father & mother-in-law took Wayne & I out for our birthdays belated birthday. We met each other at Wasabis Japanese Steak House. It was so yummy and nice to have the family together. Hunter was fascinated by the fire from our entertainer.

-----
Hunter and I went to Target afterward to look around for a while. I found Hunter some cute swim shorts for summer time. They are lime green with blue fish on them.
I had to show them off. :)

----
Meanwhile, daddy & granddaddy went to Lows while we were in Target. Wayne bought some wood to build Hunter's toy box for the weekend. Hunter was in desperate need of one. He has so many toys, and know where to put them. So daddy worked on this project all weekend. Wayne has so much talent, I wish he could open his own business. He has also done other projects as well, dog boxes, boat trailers, etc...
Before

I think he liked it! :)
After
Wayne still needs to do a little bit of work to it. Hunters toy box is not just for toys, Wayne also made it as a bench to sit on. He is going to put a Browning buck symbol on the back rest, and put a camouflage seat cover on top of bench. It is going to look so good when he has completed it. (can't ya tell we're camo, southern, hunting, freaks, ha,ha)
I'm so proud of my talented husband. Thanks baby.
If you would love to have a beautiful toy box for your baby or anything creative made, here's your guy!!! Wayne is the man you need! Please spread the word! :)

"One fell down & bumped his head.....

First let me say that I have been meaning to post this handsome picture of Hunter all week now, but haven't gotten around to it. Daddy was trying to change his diaper the other day and of course Hunter did not want this. Instead he wanted to be a squirm'er and roll around on the floor. I told Wayne I had to get a picture of his cute naked butt! :)

He will probably be happy mad at me for posting this one day, but for now lets just enjoy his cutey patootie!

Last night I went home to see that Hunter wasn't feeling so well. He has been constipated lately, and it seems his tummy was hurting him. I drove to the grocery store to buy some prune juice for his tummy, because I didn't have any on hand (bad mommy I know).
I gave him a bath then put his BIG boy pajamas on him. I took these pictures to show he can stand up now and to show his pajamas off. As I was taking his pictures, I set the camera down for a quick second and turned around then a loud boom hit the floor. I was frantic to see my son had fell off the stand and hit his head on floor. He screamed to the top of his lungs. I was so scared and sorry that I had turned my back to him in that second. I held him close to me and looked at his head. It felt like he had a small bump but nothing serious. I put some ice on it to help the swelling. And he was so happy because he could stand up before he fell down!
Daddy came out the shower, and I asked did he hear a big bang, he said yea, I said that was your son's head that hit the floor. He got really scared, then held Hunter close to him.
Hunter seemed fine after maybe 5 minutes of this happening. He was smiling again and acting his normal self.
This still concerned me and Wayne.
You just hear so many story's about babies hitting there heads or just something happening.
Wayne put him to bed for me as I got in the shower. When I got out of the shower, I found Wayne in the bedroom looking over Hunter in his crib while he was sleeping. I asked what he was doing, he said he was just making sure he was okay, and breathing fine.
I have never seen this side of Wayne being so concerned about Hunter in the way he was last night. Wayne actually was crying, worried & hoping nothing was wrong with Hunter.
I told Wayne I think he'll be fine, he seemed okay before we laid him down.
I didn't even get this concerned as Wayne did. Shocking.
Our baby is fine though. He got up this morning all wide eyed and smiling.
Thank you Lord for protecting him.

*Tanning*
For the past couple of weeks now I have been wanting to go tan in the tanning bed. I know its not good for me or anyone, but I haven't had a tan in almost 2 years because of me being pregnant. I actually haven't had the money to afford to go. I don't want to look all black or nothing like that so that my skin looks leathery. Just a normal tan.
Anyways, as Wayne & I laid in bed last night he told me he was going over to his buddy Dave's house Saturday evening. He was going to help work on his truck.
Wayne & him got to talking, and some how another got on the subject of tanning beds.
Wayne told me that Dave had a tanning bed that he bought brand new and hasn't yet used it since he's bought it in a couple of years. Wayne told Dave I had been wanting to go tan for a while now. Dave told Wayne he would set it up in his spare bedroom this weekend, and I could come over whenever I want. By the way if your concerned about me being in this guys house in a bikini by myself, no need to worry. Dave has a wonderful wife Nancy who I met 2 years ago. They are really great friends of Wayne & I. We just don't go out much. They are so sweet and nice to us.
Anyways now I get to tan for FREE! Yip,eeh. I can't wait. I'm all excited now. lol
Have a nice Thursday.

Pulling Himself Up

When I arrived home yesterday, I received some great news about Hunter, he can stand all by himself now!!! Yay, or Dang! Ha,ha.

No this was very exciting news for me & daddy. He can also just about crawl, he tries but not quite there yet.

Tammy took her kids to the dentist yesterday, and needed some help from Dennis to watch Hunter while she was in the back. His Granddaddy said there was a wooden table that he eye balled, and rolled to. He said Hunter reached for the table and pulled himself up all bye himself. He said he did that 5 times.
Way to go Hunter!
When I came home last night he showed me what a big boy he was and pulled himself up.

He might be walking before he crawls, we'll see.
Please make the time stop, he is growing up way too fast!!!

Here's a photo with his favorite food! He loves these things!
Cheese Puff (as I call them Cheetos)

I think he ate too much last night.
Lets see he ate almost a complete jar of stage 3 cereal with apples, stage 2 jar of pea, and a jar of dessert, plus a cheese puff.
Before I gave him his bottle for bed he kinda spit up his food he had just ate 4 times. He didn't really burp, so I could tell he was really full. I tried giving him his bottle, and he took a little of it, and then started crying. I took it out and felt his belly and man was it hard. I new then that he was really full and couldn't handle a bottle. I laid him down for bed and he went right to sleep.
Won't be long and he'll be off of that bottle anyways. :)

Enjoying the Nice Weather

Today we went to church, and I actually wore a dress. This is unusual for me, because I am not a dress gal, I prefer jeans instead. I bought this dress from Ross *dress for less*, and a few others. I think I am starting to get the hang of being a bit girly! Ha! If only I can lose a little bit of weight and get some sun on these white legs.

After Church, I wanted to go outside and read my book for a while in the sun/clouds. I took Hunter outside with me and laid a blanket out on the ground for him in the shade. Actually when I went outside around 1 the sun was shining & it was a little hot, but as I laid outside, there was an over cast ALL evening. So much for getting a tan. Anyways I stayed outside most of the evening. I fed Hunter his food outside and we kinda had a picnic. I fed him a cheese-puff, oh my he loves them things. When I give it to him, he does not slow down, I have to keep a really good eye on him! He gets very excited when he see's me grab one out of the bag, and when I take it away, boy does he cry!!!

After our play time in the yard, I took him for a stroller ride. I wanted to walk to get some exercise. While I was walking and chatting on the phone, I noticed poor Hunter had fallen asleep. I pulled the back of the stroller down so he could lay back.
My toota bug had a busy day in the yard.

As I took Hunter in, I put him in his crib, while I went outside to clean out my car. It was a bit dirty inside, so It needed a good clean.

Then daddy brought Hunter back outside to show me he had awaken. We went inside and enjoyed a nice bath together in the jacussi tub. He wasn't too sure of it at first, but I enjoyed taking a bath with him, definitely different. We ate dinner then I laid Hunter down for bed. He was very tired, he passed right out.

**This is funny!** Before I go to sleep at night I usually go back to check on Hunter, I guess its a mothers instinct. Well as I looked in his crib, he has fallen asleep by holding a tag on his comforter bed set (the thing that goes around the inside of crib, not sure what its called), sucking his pacifier. He cracked me up when I saw this and just had to get a picture. :)

I don't know what it is about them tags, but my son loves them, he's always trying to suck on them.

What a great weekend.

Francis Beidler Forest

Today I went through a few of Hunter's belongings, and was in desperate need of some space for his closet & room. I packed away some of his clothes that didn't fit anymore. Wayne & I took his swing, bouncy seat, bath tub, etc... to Wayne's granny's house to store away in her attic. We rarely had any room to pack anything at our house, so we got as much stuff that Hunter didn't use anymore out of his room. Now he has plenty of free space to roll around and play with his toys on his bedroom floor. Also mommy has some space in his closet now.

After we did that, Wayne & I took Hunter to Francis Beidler Forest, about a mile long nature trail in Harleyville. There were a good many of people there.

We got to see three snakes (un poison), turtles and an owl while we were there. We were a little upset because we didn't see any water-moccasins this time, (I'm not crazy:)) I think it was the cold weather that morning and they weren't out much.
It was really nice to get out and enjoy nature that day with the three of us. Hunter did well, except he did whine a few times, thats normal. :)
