Photo Shoot by Mommy

Just a few photos mommy thought were too cute to pass up!

"Mommy get that camera out my face before I beat you with my bat" Ha!
This picture is priceless!
I tried styling his hair with some moose and hairspray. Hahaha. His hair is getting ridiculously long and I think It's time for a second hair cut already! I think he has his mommas thick hair. I believe this weekend will be a "must" to get it cut!

Everything

Recap of my week/weekend from last week!
I've skipped a lot of post for the past 2 weeks it seems and really hates falling this far behind. Okay so I'm going to explain a little differently this time so it will be a shorter post!
Hunter got small case of swine flu last week
started last Monday w/ high fever
daycare called said it reached 100' to come get son
took him to Dr., they said he just has a common cold
took him home, got Motrin in system
fever down & up, stayed home from work on Tuesday
H still didn't feel well
Fever went down, took him to daycare Wed.
got phone call that evening, my son has a temp of 102.5
What?!?!? OMGosh!
Left work immediately, took him to a "different" Dr.
Hunter has caught the small case of Swine flu
Oh gosh, tell me about it. I'm going to call his regular Dr. and raise some hell
Dr. gave him medicine to help with fevers.
My poor baby didn't feel good at all
runny nose, coughing, high fevers, just plain ole' miserable
made me & daddy worried and I cried like a baby!
Stayed home to take care of my baby Thursday
Felt much better by Friday evening
None of us caught this flu
Thank God!!!
My baby is back to daycare today and feels so much better!

So that's how last week went down for me. I tell you this swine flu thing is getting out of control. Everywhere I went, every one I talked to had some kind of flu. Even a child in my son's class had it. I think Hunter picked it up by himself because he was with me all last weekend, then got sick on Sunday.

Well as you can see no Gator for me. :( I did end up going Friday night, drove out into the water about 3 miles, hadn't seen not one gator, storm came in, got completely soaked. Oh gosh I thought to myself "What have I got myself into?" We weren't prepared for a storm that's for sure. It was freezing cold, and we had no shelter to cover from this. We ended up driving back in the rain. It was a long night. Thank God though we arrived to shore safely!

I went still (deer) hunting Saturday evening. We went to a plantation that had there own stands and food plots set up for hunters like us to sit. This guy has about 1200 acres of land and has some huge bucks on his property! It was a beautiful view of his home and the lodge for guest to stay in. Had a swamp behind the lodge infested with gators and fish. I'm telling you, I would do anything for this place! BEAUTIFUL! My husband, & FIL saw a bunch of doe's, I saw one little one but not big enough to shoot. You bet Wayne & I are returning and hoping to take down a big one! :)

Well that raps things up! I've been a bit spoiled taking these last few days off of work. I sure did enjoy the time I spent home with my son! It just goes to show how much you miss threw out the week when your not home with them.

Got a lot of work and blogs to catch up on! Maybe I'll get to them all before the weeks out!
Have a great week ya'll! ♥

13 Months

(my post are late but I still wanted to post my babies 13 month)

Son you are growing like crazy! You sure are helping mommy out a awful lot lately. For instance, you will take your napkin and clean your high chair for momma, then when your in the bathtub you wash your own face and mommas too, and sometimes you will dust off the furniture with daddy's sock. You have learned a lot of new baby language lately, you point to everything you want, and say "eeehh", not sure what that means just yet. You are a jabber jaw that's for sure. You cut your eyes at momma sometimes, gosh that just melts my heart. You have so many teeth in your mouth I can't keep up with all of them. I really don't know when and where they have come in at. You wave bye bye, and blow kisses from time to time. Taps your tiny fingers. You can get down and groove to just about anything. You have learned that crying will not get you everything! You are smart as a whistle, we try covering up your four wheeler with a blanket but you just find it anyways, then when your done playing with it you grab the blanket and cover it right back up. Such a smart little man! You are walking very good, on some occasions you do fall but pick yourself right back up. You are in the younger toddlers classroom at church nursery now. You are a sweet, very happy, intelligent, good as can be baby boy. You have brought so much joy into our lives. I thank God for creating a perfect miracle for mommy and daddy! ♥ I love you baby boy! Thank you for lighting up my life!

Exciting Weekend (for them anyways)

WARNING! VIEW AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

(Hope that's better for my blogger friends who dislike this kind of stuff! he,he)

Hey you all! I can't believe I've gone this long without blogging. It's been a crazy week. I have so many blog post to catch up on!

Just a recap of my weekend. Thursday night my FIL killed a nice 6 point buck. He went hunting late that evening, sat for 10 minutes then here he comes. He got a perfect shot. Way to go Dennis! He sure did need that. Ahem... even thought that should have been my buck, just kidding! :)
I got a phone call late Thursday night that my husband killed this huge gator! How awesome is this gator?!? He was so excited. It ended up being a 9 ft gator, weighing about 180. The guys said they have never been so excited in there lives. He said it was like an adrenalin rush, almost like when a Buck walks up to your stand but better! :) Great job guys!

My SIL went hunting Friday evening with her husband and got a nice doe. This was her first, so she was very excited. I could only imagine the excitement for her, I remember the day I got my first deer/buck down, what an adrenalin rush that was! Nice job Tambo.

And then her husband killed a 5 point the next day and so did my dad. And you may or may not ask, Kim where is your deer?!? Huh well lets just say I'm get one soon! I was a little disappointed when I sat in the stand Friday night and didn't see anything. As I was in the stand I received Tammy's picture of her doe, then I thought to myself, well I guess I won't kill anything this year. I was a bit down on myself there for a while, with all this killing going on, and none for me. Then after I prayed about it, I saw a doe & a yearling come out right at dark. I was so thrilled to see them. I couldn't shoot them of course bc we can't shoot does right now, but that was good enough for me to see.
-----

My son woke up Monday morning with a fever of 99.6, I could tell he didn't feel that well. I went ahead and took him to daycare, and told his teacher to keep an eye on his temperature and to call me if it gets worse. I got a phone call that evening, the lady said he had a 100.9 fever. Poor baby. He didn't feel good at all. I took him to Dr., he had a cold flue, she said just to keep an eye on it, and give him some Motrin or Tylenol. I did as she said. I could tell he started feeling a little better by the next morning. He still had a slight fever, and runny nose. I stayed home with him so he could get a day of wrest. He seemed very sleepy this morning, but better with fever. I'm hoping he feels better by the end of the week. I hate seeing him sick.
----
If all goes well by Friday, my husband is taking me gator hunting. Call me crazy if ya want to! :) I was a little iffy at first because of getting in so late, but I have to go because It's my alligator tag and no one else can kill it but me. I'm excited, nervous, probably will be exhausted, but hoping to have a good time and get a bigger gator than my husbands before the nights out.

Okay glad that's out the way. Hope you all are having a good week. Now I need to catch up on some work and read some blogs! :)

Artwork~Backpack~Videos

My son has been learning how to draw in class these past few weeks. These are a few pictures of his 1st Artwork! Not bad son! :) I see in the first picture you drew a 4, and

in this one it looks like you had some kinda anger going on, maybe you were trying to draw some grass and trees, with a monster buck.
Ha,ha! I thought this was cute to bring home to mommy and daddy his first piece of Artwork ever! ♥ I have a feeling he's going to have his mommy and daddy's special talent for drawing. Wayne & I both loved to draw and could draw just about anything.

-----

Last night Wayne & I went to Wally-World and bought our son a backpack. He was in desperate need of one. I was so sick of putting all his food/diaper, etc. in a plastic bag or carrying it in a "baby" diaper bag. I thought since he's a big boy now, it's time to have big boy things, and not some silly diaper bag that made him look like a baby!

"Mommy It's too heavy I don't like it" Ha!

Daddy thinks it's better to get a regular backpack instead of them silly cartoon character ones (which he stated were for babies, and Hunter wasn't going to be like them other kids). Daddy wants Hunter to become a tough guy, who stands up for himself and not a punk cry baby. If ya get my drift. (Wayne has always been a leader & doesn't let things get to him, Ahem...unlike me, I'm the complete opposite)
-----
My little boy has learned "somewhat" how to feed himself with his spoon. I give it to him, he is trying. Check out this video of my little pig eating some mashed tatters! :D
He's got a temper so look out!

He gave up on this one and mommy did to. I was like what the heck, just dig in!

He made sure you new he could smack them lips now! :)
----
Did you know that I found a 3rd, yes this is the 3rd bite on my son last night?!? He got a note on Tuesday (2nd bite) saying he got bit on his back which really I couldn't see it, and it wasn't that bad but last night while he was in tub, I found a pretty bad one on his shoulder. Now you know this momma is going to raise some cane to these so called "Daycare workers"!!! That is just frickin ridiculous my son has gotten bitten (not sure if it's the same child) 3 times in a week. Yes I know that babies are going to bite some, but not bite my son 3 times in a week! I'm pretty sure It's got to be the same baby. Now how come I didn't receive a report from this yesterday?!? Either some one ain't' watching these children or they just don't give a rats butt! Well you bet I'm calling this morning to raise a bit of cane about my child!!! I wonder if any other child is getting bitten other than mine!!! Anyways just thought I'd share that! I have pics but forgot camera, maybe I'll post it Monday on top of I'm sure another bite mark from now til then.
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Happy 85th Birthday Granny

Yesterday was my husbands, Grannies 85th Birthday. She is the sweetest lady you could ever meet. She has lived a long life and we thank the good Lord above for that. We celebrated her day at Gilligan's Seafood Restaurant.

Birthday Lady ♥

It was a great evening to spend time with family. I didn't get to enjoy my dinner like I planned because some little boy was very sleepy, & I had to take him home. But my hubs brought my Yummy crab legs home to eat then! :D

We love you Granny!

♥ ♥ ♥

W.W. "Boo"

Wayne & I bought Hunter these adorable underwear this past weekend. They have bats on them for Halloween and have "Boo" written on them. These are his first pair of undies too by the way! :D

Please Be Aware, Veiw @ Your Own Risk!!

This maybe a little too much information for ya'll to handle, but I need to post this for my sake & my son's sake! One day he will see what he did bad to mommy while giving him a bath! Ha!
As I filled the bathtub up with water, and dumped all of Hunter's toys out, this little guy decides he wants to blow out a stinky in the bath tub. Not your ordinary bathtub fun!!!
It was so funny because he stood up in the bath tub, started peeing, then looked back at mommy with a big smile as he then tooted. He sat down, then tooted some more bc you could see the water bubbling up. :/ Then all of a sudden he strained for a minute (didn't know this was coming) and what do you know a "big" piece of poop came right between his legs.
Oh my gosh! This was by far the most disgusting incident I had to encounter with!
I had to drain the water, then take my son out, which by the way he did not like at all, then take some tissue and scoop it up and flush it down the toilet. As my son was still crying bc he was scared to death, I put him back in the clean tub, and tried giving him a bath over again.

-----

(mommy what is that) :D

Ugh what a crazy night! I'm sure there will be other moments to come! Hopefully he will target daddy one night when mommies not home! Hugh, yeah right!
-----
Now as you all know Halloween is right around the corner. I've been deciding on which costume to get my little guy this year. Last year he was a handsome little cow/dalmatian (not sure) at 2 months old.

This year I want to get him something a little different. I was thinking a cute lion like this one
(Not sure if they have one in his size below but I think It's super cute)

or this adorable monkey

a dinosaur

or maybe another cute little cow

or pup?!?

I can't decide just yet. I am thinking about hitting up the thrift stores first and see what kind of bargain I can get there. I'm sure I could find him a pretty cheap one that's just as cute as these but less pricey!

Which one do you like the most?

Bite Mark, Weekend Ramble, Park...

Hey you gals! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Just a recap of mine.

Friday I took Hunter to the day care for the day while mommy shopped for a few fall/winter clothes that I desperately needed. I wanted a cute fall dress and found this gorgeous dress at Target! I ♥ Target! Mind you it's very rare I get to splurge on myself so this was exciting looking for new clothes! I bought another dress as well that's less revealing and more for cooler weather than this one! [I'll have to show pics later]

As I go to the daycare after shopping to pick up tootabugs, he has a note that the teacher attached to his daily paper. He got bitten from another student! I asked the teacher who did it [not that I was going to hurt the child or anything], she told me she couldn't say bc of school policy. I was like, well okay.
Poor thing. That child must have hurt my baby and got a good chunk, bc you could see the bite mark just as clear as ever on his right arm right where your arm creases. I told my baby to bite back next time! Ha! j/k :D

I didn't do a whole lot over the weekend. Just did a lot of shopping, and visited my brothers new apartment he just moved into on Saturday night. Cleaned as usual. Saturday night my husband went gator hunting til 3 a.m in the morning, so crazy! He didn't get anything. I stayed up and watched the Georgia Bulldawgs vs/ USC Gamecocks game! I tell you that was a good game!!! Of course I'm no longer a Gamecock fan, [married into a huge Clemson family] but we route for Georgia as well! Go Bulldawgs!!!
-
Sunday morning my husband slept in, of course, and I went to church. That service I think was talking about me. The preacher preached on being a follower of Jesus. Mark 8:34 "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me."
I must forget about myself, and pick up my things and follow Jesus Christ! "I" must be the leader and "I" must do this on my own and "follow" Jesus!
It's such a difficult thing to do though.
I have fallen behind on following Jesus. I feel like I pray just to pray but it has no meaning behind it. I try to be someone I'm not. I need some inspiration. Yes my husband is there for me but I feel like he has given up and we both need prayer. I say I want to join a Sunday school but scared to do it on my own. I'm sure what I say here doesn't make a bit of cents but I don't know how to describe or word it. If you could give me a hand here and email me for support that would be appreciative. My blogger friends & family inspire me in so many ways & I thank you all!
-
Sunday evening I decided to take Hunter to the park for a while. He loved it! This is our second time going, and not the last time either. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

my niece went w/ us too
he can point to things now! ;)

Have a great Monday! :D

"Babies got his Blue Jeans on"

This little hunk has pictures taken at his daycare today for the 1st time!
This picture just made my day!!! I said, "Hunter say cheese?"

"Cheese" :D

He is for sure my little ham hock!

I love you baby boy! ♥

My son's hair has been growing like crazy since we got it cut last, and I just had to give it a trim before his picture day. So I "carefully" trimmed it a bit while he was in his bath tub last night. Not too bad! I'm just glad I didn't gap it up! :D
It's Friday for me! (don't mean to rub it in or anything)
Clemson game tonight! Go Tigers! Hoping to see them win! Ya'll have a great weekend, and thanks for all your wonderful comments!
xoxo
