Labor Day Weekend (late!!)

Phew, It seems like this time of year is always the most busiest of them all! Here is what we've been up to in the past few weeks.

During Labor day weekend we took the kids to the water park, me and my sil. The kids had a fun time ending the summer with a little splash!

I always enjoy taking Hunter to the water parks during these hot Summer days! I got a scare of my life too, which was not fun AT ALL!! I lost Hunter for 3 minutes, thought he was headed up the water slide, I was waiting at the end for him to come down and he never showed up. I panicked, freaked out, looked everywhere for him, told the life guard and all. Then, to my rescue, my SIL found him at the Tree House where they were at. THANK GOD she found him because this Momma was scared to death!! It's not a fun feeling when your child goes missing, even for a split second!

Anyways, we went hunting for a few days out of the weekend, didn't see anything of course! Ha.

We had a Labor day cook out at our house ( mil's house), enjoyed hamburgers and hot dogs.

It was a wonderful Labor Day weekend I must say! Enjoyed having that extra day off!

Hunter had his 4 year well check up last Friday morning. He is 42" tall and weighs 42 lbs, very healthy. In the 80% percentile for his height. He got his hearing, and site tested while we were there. The Dr. said he looked great, and everything seemed fine. My poor baby got 3 shots that day, not fun at all! We had to hold him down for the nurse to give them to him, he does not do well at all with shots!! I hope he'll grow out of that some day.

Our club finally got a buck for the 1st time of the year last Saturday, Hunter had to show the little 3 point off. Ha.

We kicked off Awana last Sunday night at our church, pretty excited about that!! I've signed up to teach the little 3yr olds, so much fun teaching them all about God and our savior Jesus Christ!!

And these are just some of the things that have been going on in our world.

I've been praying, wishing, crying and hoping for some things lately.

Just been stressed with life a little bit but that's part of life I suppose. God puts these things in our life not to harm us, but to make us stronger! I have faith, God will provide, even if I'm not where he wants be to be.

Water Park Fun

Saturday I took Hunter to the water park with his Grandaddy. We haven't hardly done anything outside lately because Its just been way to HOT! I had 2 free tickets so I figured I'd take him for a few hours to burn off some energy. Do something a little different than playing in the yard or inside all day watching tv. Boring!

He had a great time and I'm so glad I took him. We ran into his best buddy from Daycare, Dominic and his parents. So Hunter had him a playmate the whole time we were there. He also slid down the slide all by himself, Mommy was impressed. Ha. We had fun and he passed out as soon as we got home. That's my boy!

Four Day Weekend

(this is suppose to be posted on yesterdays post but blogger is acting up so it didn't post) :)

I had a nice four day weekend that went by way to quickly!!!
Friday started off by me going to the dentist, then cleaning. Saturday evening we went to the Beach to visit with Wayne ’s family for a cook out. It was fun meeting new family members I haven’t met yet. After the cook out we went down to the beach for a few minutes. Just so Hunter could run around & burn up some energy. :) He had fun putting his toes in the sand & water. I had fun taking cute pictures too.

Sunday we took Hunter back to the water park again. This time it seemed like he wasn’t as interested in it as he was last time we went. Maybe he was sleepy, not sure. We played for about 2 hours then left because the weather wasn’t all that perfect, (cloudy & rained as soon as we left).

Sunday evening Wayne & I gathered all our hunting gear up for a date night in the woods.. Ha! We both took Monday off because it was the first day of deer season for us to hunt. He drove out to the hunting club ahead of me & I left the house later to meet up with him at the camper. We left Hunter with the In-laws that night, wish he was a little bit old enough to go with us.. We drove around the club shinning for deer, just like old times. We had so much fun. Felt like we were just dating all over again. :)We went to bed a little early for a Monday morning hunt. I tell you what, It sure felt good to be in a tree stand hunting!!! I thought this day would never hurry up & come. I saw a few does & a cow horn & Wayne saw a few does himself that morning. It was nice to actually see something too while sitting in the stand, made our day. Later we got breakfast then headed back to the camper for a 2 hour nap while it rained. We sure did enjoy napping, so peaceful. After our lovely nap & the rain stopped, we drove around the club house looking for signs of deer. Saw a few running around. We then went to our stands to hunt. Saw nothing last night, but we had a wonderful day off doing what we love best! Wishing I didn’t have to go back to work after that long break & good time hunting. I’m ready for Friday all over again! J
*Side note* One week from today my baby boy will be 2!!! How sad is that & I guess exciting in a way. L It’s so hard to believe how fast our babies grow up! I know they say you better enjoy them while there little, because they grow up fast, but dang I didn’t know they would “really” grow up this quickly!!! Sigh… Tear… sniff..sniff. someone may need to send me a tissue next Tuesday! =)

Water Park Weekend

Just a little recap of our weekend. Saturday Wayne & I went to the hunting club for most of the day. Hunting season is right around the corner so we wanted to put corn on our tree stands that we had fixed up last weekend. We also did a few tree trimming around the club house, oh & Hunter helped too. I cannot wait for hunting season to begin, August 15th!!! You’ll be hearing a lot of that through December!

Sunday we skipped church & took little man to the water park for the day. He had a great time & loved every minute of it.. Hunter loved going down the slides & would not give up. He did it a few time by himself & just giggled the hole entire time. Too cute. He was very good for the 2 ½ hours we were their & we were proud of him. He passed right out as soon as he got in the car, he was all tuckered out. Ha!
We then came home and took a 3 hr nap ourselves, which was very enjoyable.
