End of Summer nights 2014

Our Summer has come to an end. This summer 2014 in pictures....

Bought a new toy, Polaris Ranger...

My baby boy Tiger went to kitty heaven...:( something so little and a blessing to me, like my child, crushed my heart!! This little boy will always have a place in our hearts and their will never be another one like him!!

You are loved and missed dearly!! 

In the mean time, I couldn't stand not having a fur baby in the house so.... 

Meet Roscoe! He's our new addition to the Lawhon clan! 

He's a feisty little boy but so very sweet and cute!

My mom came home to visit!!! Spent some quAlity time with her while she was home!! Loved every bit of it! 

Celebrated the 4th with family.. 

Water park (pond) fun!! 

Went to Atlanta for a weekend to catch up with the bestie, Kim!! :)

We got a little john boat.. 

Went to the movies a few times.. Cool dude! Ha 

Got my girl back home from training!! Missed her so much!! 

Did a little fishing with grandma.. He's a keeper ha 

Shot some targets, gearing up for Hunting.. 

Took him hunting with us opening day, he  didn't stay still long enough and his motor mouth wouldn't hush... Over all a great experience for little man!

He got promoted at church as one of the rising1st graders of kings kids!! 

He received an awesome bible! 

they know him well... Ha:)

We're so proud of him, and what all God is doing in his life!! Keep rising baby and God will shine in you!!!

Then passed out for a new chapter in his life....

Church Fall Jamboree

This past weekend went by way too quickly!

I'm so excited to share what I purchased on Thursday, I've been reading daily devotions on line everyday, and one day it came across Renee Swopes book, A Confident Heart. I was very interested in purchasing this book and really wanted more. I've only gotten through the first chapter but so far It has touched my heart and open my eyes to the Lord. Can't wait to really get into it more.

Friday night Hunter and I put our boots on, saddled up and headed to our church fall Jamboree!!

Every year our church sets up the different games and fun activities for the children to enjoy to kick off the Fall season. Hunter had a blast and didn't want to leave. Ha.

He got some yummy candy, and we road the hay ride.<

I'm so Thankful our church puts on fun events such as these for our children.

Saturday night Wayne & I were invited to go out with some friends to Miaybi's Japanese Steakhouse, of course we couldn't say no! Ha. It had been a while since we ate out at this particular Japanese Restaurant and I have to say it was DELICIOUS!!

Hunter enjoyed it as well, can't you tell! :D

Labor Day Weekend (late!!)

Phew, It seems like this time of year is always the most busiest of them all! Here is what we've been up to in the past few weeks.

During Labor day weekend we took the kids to the water park, me and my sil. The kids had a fun time ending the summer with a little splash!

I always enjoy taking Hunter to the water parks during these hot Summer days! I got a scare of my life too, which was not fun AT ALL!! I lost Hunter for 3 minutes, thought he was headed up the water slide, I was waiting at the end for him to come down and he never showed up. I panicked, freaked out, looked everywhere for him, told the life guard and all. Then, to my rescue, my SIL found him at the Tree House where they were at. THANK GOD she found him because this Momma was scared to death!! It's not a fun feeling when your child goes missing, even for a split second!

Anyways, we went hunting for a few days out of the weekend, didn't see anything of course! Ha.

Daddy let Hunter practice shooting his gun one time while at the club, he loves shooting his gun!

We had a Labor day cook out at our house ( mil's house), enjoyed hamburgers and hot dogs.

It was a wonderful Labor Day weekend I must say! Enjoyed having that extra day off!

Hunter had his 4 year well check up last Friday morning. He is 42" tall and weighs 42 lbs, very healthy. In the 80% percentile for his height. He got his hearing, and site tested while we were there. The Dr. said he looked great, and everything seemed fine. My poor baby got 3 shots that day, not fun at all! We had to hold him down for the nurse to give them to him, he does not do well at all with shots!! I hope he'll grow out of that some day.

Our club finally got a buck for the 1st time of the year last Saturday, Hunter had to show the little 3 point off. Ha.

We kicked off Awana last Sunday night at our church, pretty excited about that!! I've signed up to teach the little 3yr olds, so much fun teaching them all about God and our savior Jesus Christ!!

And these are just some of the things that have been going on in our world.

I've been praying, wishing, crying and hoping for some things lately.

Just been stressed with life a little bit but that's part of life I suppose. God puts these things in our life not to harm us, but to make us stronger! I have faith, God will provide, even if I'm not where he wants be to be.

July 4th Week

Our week of 4th of July was a pretty AMAZING week!!

The weekend before the 4th, that Saturday we Invited Hunter's BFF Dominic over for a fun filled day. This was the first time we ever had another friend of Hunters over and I was pretty tickled about it. :)

As soon ad Hunter saw Dominic he went crazy excited, started showing off his toys, his cool room, all of Daddy and Mommies trophies (which D was pretty scared of) Ha!

The boys played inside for a while, had the room destroyed in 5 seconds, lol.They played in the pool together (D didn't like the pool so much), they helped Mommy wash my car, played trucks.

Daddy took them for a four wheeler ride.

They then came inside and ate lunch. Dominic only stayed a few hrs then I had to take him home. The boys had a blast together and I'm hoping we'll have more fun events like this one!

Sunday we drove to Columbia Baptist Church for a 4th of July Liberty event they had going on.

It was a beautiful ceremony, that had a kids parade, beautiful singing, honored our men & women, and had a fireworks display. Every yr we try going to this event, this rr we brought Hunter for his 1st time.

He enjoyed the program and was on his best behavior.

Ate a blue lolipop to keep him quite :)

The one thing that really touched my heart was when they were singing the many different songs of our Lord God, and out of no where Hunter says" Mommy God is in heaven and he loves me! He's such a great listener and blessing!!

On Wednesday, July 4th Hunter and I went to the beach along with my niece Miranda and her friend. We got there really early so It wasn't as crowded.

Hunter loved playing in the water and dodging those beach waves.

We built sand castles, played in the mudd and he played with some kids.

That night to be honest, we didn't do anything. We were so drained from the beach, and I really didn't want to go out and fight the crowd to see fireworks. Hunter isn't a huge fan anyways of fireworks, scares his little heart to death.

It was a nice relaxing night, watched movies then crashed early.

The weekend after the 4th, my husband and I loaded up the four wheeler and tractor to head to the hunting club. We cleared out all of our tree stands, gearing up for hunting season August 15th!!!

Not too much longer guys, yay!!!! :) Cannot wait!!

Wayne got the privilege to take out one of the Scout boats he built over the weekend. Him and his friend Jason are supervisors now and they have more privileges like this one, and It's very exciting!!!

We took the boat out that Thursday and we had SO MUCH FUN!!

Didn't take a whole lot of pictures bc I was having too much fun and of course Wayne hates pictures as you all may know. Boo!

We ate lunch on the water at California Dreaming -Awesome restaurant btw!

We ate lunch, then we were ready to load up in the boat, and well, let's just say we stayed longer than we planned due to low tide!

Bummer!

Our boat was on the sand bar by time we got done eating so we weren't able to leave unless someone pulled us out (which thankfully someone did 40 min. later) or we could wait 3-4 hrs until the tide came back in. Ugh!

We kind of got a laugh out of that one! Ha.

So glad someone was able to pull our boat out!

We had a wonderful time though, despite the low tide and I got lots of sun! :) Hoping to do this again SOON!!

Friday night me, my sil, and Mil went to the movies to see

and OMG ladies.... all I can say is WOW!! Ha! Awesome movie, I WILL BE OWNING THIS when it hits stores!

It was a fun night that night, felt like I was actually at a strip club. Ha.

Go see it ladies if you haven't yet! I promise u you'll love it! :)

That Saturday & Sunday we pretty much relaxed pool side. Celebrated 2 birthdays, my fil and Granny.
