First look at a future Artist..

I believe we have an Artist on our hands. I wanted to show off a few of Hunter's drawings he's done lately.

The first picture was taken in December, Hunter was in his room drawing on his doodle pad and came up with a picture of Mommy. I told Hunter, look at Mommy and draw my face, and he did just that! Ha!

I was in complete shock what he came up with. :)

He drew my big head, nose, swirly mouth and curly hair. I am pretty impressed being that he is only 3 1/2 years old and this is free handed all by himself!!!

Here is another drawing he came up with the other night. He walked into the bathroom and said look Mommy, "this Daddy". He drew Daddy's head, ears, mouth, eyes, neck and hair. Pretty impressive huh?!?

He gets his artistic skills from both his Mommy and Daddy! We were both great artist back in the day and so were our fathers and family. Just an example at how well my Daddy can draw free handed on Hunter's sketch pad...

Amazing, and to be honest I never knew my Daddy could draw so well. :)
Keep this up baby boy and you'll be a pro at it one day!

Boo-boo @ school

Last Thursday evening as I went to pick up Hunter from daycare, I noticed he had a big red skin mark on his face. My poor baby tripped in class that morning and landed right on his face leaving a carpet burn. :-(

His teacher said he would not let anyone look at his face when it happened, so they couldn't tell if he was bleeding or how bad it was. Hunter gets very embarrassed easily and I know that by him tripping in front of his class mates scared him so bad he didn't want to show his face. I felt so sorry for the little guy. But the teachers said after he stopped crying he came threw like a champ. :)

Lately my boy has been asking many, many questions lately! They start off by saying "Mommy why" then when I tell him why he says "but why Mommy"

Oh Brother do we have our hands full!! Ha. I love it though because he's learning every time he ask a question so we have to give him a good answer and think fast. :D

January is such a low key month for us and I'm sure for many of you. Hunting season ended January 1st, so we'll be spending lots of family time at home on the weekends!! I am so glad Its over too because I have so much stuff that can be done. So far this month we've went to the club house to shoot skeet and ride four-wheelers with my Bubba and his girlfriend and their ADORABLE lab, Cash.

I've done some crafts and put some things together for my nieces 16th birthday. Took GORGEOUS photos of her over the weekend.

We are in the middle of building something for a special someone (It's a secret until I disguise of it) Ha.

Lately it has felt more like summer than winter here in South Carolina, I AM NOT COMPLAINING ONE BIT!! Shorts, tank tops and flip-flops are my kinda of thing.

I am so anxious for TAX return!! Paying off some bills and then some!

Grandma sent Hunter a package,.. superman plate, bowl, and cup, spiderman stickers, tattoos, new sheets and a comforter for his new big boy bed!! Thanks Grandma!

I've had a few goals set for 2012 and I've done so-so with them. :) One of them is I've been eating healthy Monday -Friday but fail on the weekends!! I've worked out every other day but some days It's hard when you have a family to tend to and you work 10 hr shifts. :(But I am going to stick to this!! I have to! I would look like a fat whale on the beach if I do not watch what I eat and work out. Ha! Seriously though I'd love to lose 15 lbs but if I make it to 10 I'd be one proud Momma!

Hubby and I are planning a mini-vacation getaway this summer with just us 3 as a family!! We need time away for once, and I am really looking forward to it, maybe a little stressful with a 3 year old but I'm sure we can handle it.

I'm missing my Momma like crazy lately!! There's nothing like having your Momma there for you when you need her!! If only I could see her every day. ♥

Raising a 3 year old has been so STRESSFUL lately!! I'm about to lose my mind! Hunter has had a hard time listening! He ignores me when I ask him to do something! Nothing I do works! But I'm hoping to change a few things so that raising my bad 3 year old child will be less stressful. I've read a few articles to help me out, and I found out I'm not the only Momma who stresses over her child. Ha.

I'm going to get more involved with my church this year. It's a must! My heart has fluttered away from God lately and I want to change that!! It's so crazy how things work, I can read God's word, go to church, listen to what God's telling me to do and be a good faithful Christian that I can be then Boom, I'm stuck back to where I first started. Satan gets a hold of me and tears my heart into, but I know that I can change this if I wanted to. I will not let the Devil bring me down!! Y'all please pray for me and my family!!

Enough rambling, I hope you all are doing well!! I am hoping to catch up on post tonight.

Well Hello 2012!!!
I'm so ready to begin this year with a few changes in my life! God has blessed me with a great year in 2011 but I'm really looking forward to what he has in store for our family this year.
We brought in the new year by celebrating with a few good friends of ours that we hunt with. The hunt master of our club invited everyone to his house for a big cookout with about 100 people. They had 3 bonfires going, a ton of oysters, bbq chicken, lots of Yummy food and a ton of fire works.
Hunter loved every bit of it except for the loud fireworks. Ha.
We had a wonderful time and will be back again for next year for sure.
