I took these while at my grandmothers this weekend. I didn't realize how my dad as a baby resembles Hunter so much. Don't ya think they look a like?

I hear a lot of people say that Hunter looks like Wayne's granddaddy also, but haven't really got a good look at him just yet.

Just figured I'd share this with you.

Hunter eating like a Hungry bird....

Ha! All last week & this past weekend you can tell within these few days how much Hunter has changed his eating patterns. Ever since he's gotten over his Croup, he has been eating so good. I'll give him a jar of vegetables and he eats it right up, cereal, fruits, anything you put in that boys mouth, seems like he doesn't care, he is going to eat it. :) He has eaten so well for mommy and I am so thankful he is not rejecting his food like he was about a month ago.

..He is like a bird..literally... with his mouth open wide ready to be fed. :)

What can I say, he is a big boy and loves to eat, can't you tell! :)
I know now I won't be having any problems with feeding him.

If he's anything like his daddy, there won't be any food left in the house, because I know Wayne will eat just about anything as long as there's food laying around!

And that's a FACT! Ha.

Acting like a teenager...

Thursday night I ended up giving those Rhett Atkins tickets away at the last minute. Thankfully I had a phone call from an old friend of mine that I posted from facebook, & gave them to her. I am just glad they didn't go to waiste.

I ended up taking my niece to the movies to see "Race to witch mt.", I got the tickets free, & thought it would be nice if we did something together for a change. The movie was....

Ahem.. okay, I guess. Nothing I would have paid for but interesting for a 13 year old.

I took a few silly photo's with Miranda just goofing off. I felt like I was a teenager again. Ha! :)

I created a scrapbook/picture for friends of ours who just delivered there baby girl Ely. I made it earlier this week but didn't want to post it too soon in case they saw it on my blog.

It was pretty easy but took some time doing so. I printed this out & put it in a picture frame for them to have as memories for Ely's room.

How thoughtful of me, eh! :)

Friday evening Wayne & I went to there house to visit for a while. Ely was so precious, & tiny.

Tickets to see Rhett Atkins

Go Kim! :) I decided instead of writing on my other blog "Kim", that It would be much easier to just keep up with one blog! Well I have been trying to win off of the radio for some time now, & recently have won 3 times! Woo,Who, for me, right! :) Well I finally won tickets this morning to see Rhett Atkins tonight. Don't get me wrong I would love to go see him, but since its going to be at a small like bar place I decided to give them away. I figured there would be lots of drinking involved at the concert and wasn't too interested in that. Thoughtful of me, I'm proud to give them up. So tonight I promised my niece Miranda that we would go see "Race to witch mt." at the movie theaters, I won 2 free tickets about 2 weeks ago off the radio. I'm still trying to give away these tickets and hoping they don't go to waist.

This weekend we have passion play practice again for our up coming play at church, so we're going to be busy with that all weekend. I'm hoping to get a few pictures of the gang this weekend so I can post on my blog.

I probably won't be back on my blog until Monday, because I don't have a computer at home, but I am still praying for baby Stellan & am hoping he is better by this weekend. I won't be able to see if he is doing okay, so praying everyday for him & MckMama's family.

7 Months Old/ PLEASE PRAY 4 THIS FAMILY

Today my son turned 7 months old. I just cannot believe it! Seriously where does the time go!

I have been following a blog for a couple of months now, and my heart has been touched deeply by the McKinney family! Here is a link to there blog "My Charming Kids" ! Weekend Update

I posted a slide show to show you how much Hunter has grew in the last 6 months. He is growing like crazy, & I am surely going to miss these wonderful moments with him. Tomorrow he'll be 7 months old, can you believe it? I can't, time just flies by way too quickly anymore!

This weekend was a busy one for our family. We are trying to get ready for our Easter Passion Play at church that we have every year. We have been busy rehearsing all weekend for that. Friday Hunter's girlfriend was born. Some friends of ours, (The Carrolls), were expecting to deliver a baby girl in March & had her Friday. She is such a beautiful baby girl. Her name is Ely Virginia Carroll, weighs 7. 14 lbs, 20 in. long. She is so tiny compared to what Hunter was. We went to the hospital Friday after an hour of delivering her and we got to meet her. I was so excited! It felt really nice to be holding an infant again because it seems like its been a while since Hunter was a tiny baby. Also I didn't have to go threw the labor and all that stuff. :) We told Hunter that was his girlfriend. He wanted to touch her & put her in his mouth unlike everything else he does. :)

Wayne bought Hunter a wallet over the weekend from a sportsman recreation center. It is so cute and tiny, fits right in his pocket. Wayne put Ely's # in it, for him. Ha!

Tim (the daddy of Ely) told Ely not to mess with them Lawhon's because they are nothing but trouble. lol
Already putting Hunter down as if he is a bad country boy. :)

Wiggle Worm

Hunter still doesn't have his voice back, he has been gradually getting better day by day. I miss his giggles & murmuring.
This week Hunter has been moving his little body a lot. As in know matter where ya put him or stand him he is just moving non stop. If you put him this way, he will turn the other way. :) He is scooting now, & seems like he's starting to get a temper tantrum when things don't go his way. I put him in his car seat, and what does he do, scoots right out of it, then when I try buckling him in, he throws a little fit.
Oh Boy, do I have plenty of things to look forward to in mother hood. :)

Croup & Ear invections

Over the weekend Hunter has been a little horse, and has had a very severe barking cough. It started getting worse on Sunday. I took him to his doctor Saturday because when he woke up that morning he sounded horse in his throat and I didn't want it to be anything serious. The doctor told me there was nothing wrong with him, which was weird for me because I new there was something wrong. Tammy called me yesterday while I was at work, and asked if he has been having a hard time breathing lately, I told her some what he has. Well she said it seemed like he was having a hard time grasping for air. I called his doctor's office again & told them what his symptoms were, she said come right in. I took him at 2 for his appointment, and the doctor said he has Croup. I have never heard of this before but apparently some infants & toddlers can get this, but its nothing severe so that's a good thing. He also had two ear infections that just occurred. My pore son. He hasn't hardly eaten anything all weekend, and has no voice. I feel really sad for him because when he tries coughing he cries. I have prayed about this situation & am hoping he gets better soon. Please if you read this, keep him in your prayers. He needs a healing, & I would like to have my happy baby back to laughing again! :) God Bless.

First Birthday Party

Hunter & I got invited to a birthday party on Saturday. It was my friend Jennifer's son Conner's 4th birthday. We thought the weather wasn't going to corporate, but it turned out nice that day, a little bit cloudy. Jennifer had everything set up out side on there new deck, and had two blow up castles, one for babies & one for the bigger kids. This was actually Hunter's first birthday party. I believe he enjoyed himself, especially in the jump castle. There were so many cute babies there, and lots of children. Conner had a really great turn out & received lots of great gifts. Before each child left we received a bag of kettle corn ,cotton candy & a balloon. I gave Hunter a taste of his cotton candy & he loved it. Who wouldn't right, its candy! :)

Wayne & I went to Cracker Barrel with two of our friends that night. Hunter was with us too of course, he was a very sweet baby. All the older ladies was complimenting him & his hair dew. What a way he has with the ladies. Wayne bought Hunter a fake baby turtle out of the shop in the restaurant, he said it reminded him of his old turtle Tom when he was a child. Anyways its one of those pets that is suppose to grow in ten days, don't know too much about it, but its cute for Hunter.

I Can Sit All By My Self Now

Hunter can sit up supportively all by himself now. I am so proud of him, he has beginning to learn so many new things here lately. Before ya know it, he's going to be crawling.

Busy Weekend

For some reason I just cannot get motivated into writing much of anything today. Don't get me wrong I had a great weekend, but there is just so much to talk about that happened over the weekend. I am going to post a few photo's though, and hope you enjoy them. I maybe willing to write about it tomorrow. :) Stay tuned until then!

Click Clack

Ha, just noticed Hunter has learned something new last night. He can make a clicking sound with his tongue now, like a clucking noise. :) Its so awesome to watch how your children grow up and learn new things each week. I wish though he wouldn't grow up so fast. I really cannot believe how fast he is growing, and I know I say this all the time, but I cannot help it. My baby boy is going to be 1 in 6 months, and you may think that's a long time but it will surely fly here before we could blink one eye! :) Well have an awesome day everyone.
