Motor boating at the Lake

Some friends of ours let us borrow there boat this weekend, so we took the boat out Saturday while it was nice and hot! We went fishing and swam in the lake. It was so nice to be out on the lake on a hot summer day!! Hunter enjoyed every bit of it, we had a blast!!

All that sun wore my baby out! Ha.

After being out on the lake all day, we went to my Grannys for a late fathers day cookout. We had lots of Yummy food. We had a great weekend trays for sure!!

This past Friday was 4 yrs that's gone by since I lost the man I loved so dearly! My Grandaddy was a huge part of my life, he was not only my Grandfather, but he was like a father to me!

I miss him more than anything but know that one day soon I shall see him again!!

Missing my Grandaddy!

Today I'm dedicating this post in remembery of my Grandaddy, It's  been 3 years since I lost my Grandaddy. I just can't believe he's been with Jesus for this long, doesn't seem real!! Time has gone by so fast and  I wish he was here today. Not to see how crool and horrible this world has gotten (Lord knows he'd hate living his time on Earth right now) but to see his first Grandbabby grow up! Grandaddy you'd be one proud Great Grandaddy!! When I visit with Granny, and see that empty chair that you used to sit in, I always remanic on how you would have loved to laugh and spend time with Hunter. He's become a huge blessing in my life and he has helped me move forward once you passed away. I wish so much that you could have held on just a few months so you could have met Hunter, but we all know God has his purpose in life to let things turn out the way they do. Grandaddy you are missed more than ever! You are always in our thoughts!! We love and miss you so much and cannot wait to see you again!!!
