Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial day weekend was a success here at our new home!

We had a little cookout with Wayne's sister and her family.

 

The kids enjoyed marshmallow's by the fire and camping out while us adults reminisce about the good ole' days.

 

We had yummy hamburgers and hot dogs along with watermelon.

 

I was so happy to have them over. Moment's like these makes having a home so much sweeter!!!

 

Had a surprise visit from my favorite cousin Daniel who came in for Alabama! It was good seeing him and his girlfriend!!

July 4th Week

Our week of 4th of July was a pretty AMAZING week!!

The weekend before the 4th, that Saturday we Invited Hunter's BFF Dominic over for a fun filled day. This was the first time we ever had another friend of Hunters over and I was pretty tickled about it. :)

As soon ad Hunter saw Dominic he went crazy excited, started showing off his toys, his cool room, all of Daddy and Mommies trophies (which D was pretty scared of) Ha!

The boys played inside for a while, had the room destroyed in 5 seconds, lol.They played in the pool together (D didn't like the pool so much), they helped Mommy wash my car, played trucks.

Daddy took them for a four wheeler ride.

They then came inside and ate lunch. Dominic only stayed a few hrs then I had to take him home. The boys had a blast together and I'm hoping we'll have more fun events like this one!

Sunday we drove to Columbia Baptist Church for a 4th of July Liberty event they had going on.

It was a beautiful ceremony, that had a kids parade, beautiful singing, honored our men & women, and had a fireworks display. Every yr we try going to this event, this rr we brought Hunter for his 1st time.

He enjoyed the program and was on his best behavior.

Ate a blue lolipop to keep him quite :)

The one thing that really touched my heart was when they were singing the many different songs of our Lord God, and out of no where Hunter says" Mommy God is in heaven and he loves me! He's such a great listener and blessing!!

On Wednesday, July 4th Hunter and I went to the beach along with my niece Miranda and her friend. We got there really early so It wasn't as crowded.

Hunter loved playing in the water and dodging those beach waves.

We built sand castles, played in the mudd and he played with some kids.

That night to be honest, we didn't do anything. We were so drained from the beach, and I really didn't want to go out and fight the crowd to see fireworks. Hunter isn't a huge fan anyways of fireworks, scares his little heart to death.

It was a nice relaxing night, watched movies then crashed early.

The weekend after the 4th, my husband and I loaded up the four wheeler and tractor to head to the hunting club. We cleared out all of our tree stands, gearing up for hunting season August 15th!!!

Not too much longer guys, yay!!!! :) Cannot wait!!

Wayne got the privilege to take out one of the Scout boats he built over the weekend. Him and his friend Jason are supervisors now and they have more privileges like this one, and It's very exciting!!!

We took the boat out that Thursday and we had SO MUCH FUN!!

Didn't take a whole lot of pictures bc I was having too much fun and of course Wayne hates pictures as you all may know. Boo!

We ate lunch on the water at California Dreaming -Awesome restaurant btw!

We ate lunch, then we were ready to load up in the boat, and well, let's just say we stayed longer than we planned due to low tide!

Bummer!

Our boat was on the sand bar by time we got done eating so we weren't able to leave unless someone pulled us out (which thankfully someone did 40 min. later) or we could wait 3-4 hrs until the tide came back in. Ugh!

We kind of got a laugh out of that one! Ha.

So glad someone was able to pull our boat out!

We had a wonderful time though, despite the low tide and I got lots of sun! :) Hoping to do this again SOON!!

Friday night me, my sil, and Mil went to the movies to see

and OMG ladies.... all I can say is WOW!! Ha! Awesome movie, I WILL BE OWNING THIS when it hits stores!

It was a fun night that night, felt like I was actually at a strip club. Ha.

Go see it ladies if you haven't yet! I promise u you'll love it! :)

That Saturday & Sunday we pretty much relaxed pool side. Celebrated 2 birthdays, my fil and Granny.

Mother's Day/Memorial day weekend

I've come to realize I haven't had the chance to post about my Mothers day yet and It's the kat day of May!! I cannot believe that!! That's insane!! Lifes been pretty busy her lately, being It's summer time, we are always staying busy outdoors and enjoying this warm weather. Anyways, for Mothers day, I went to visit both of my Grandmothers and thought it be really special if I hand made them each a flower and bake cupcakes in a jar. Yumo!! (they turned out great btw) :-) Since I wasn't able to spend Mothers day with my mom, we sent her lots of goodies through the mail. I made her a cute Mom frame, some flowers, and a jar of candy, she loved them. I sure did wish I could have spent that day with her, I miss her more than anything!! That Saturday night we all had a suppose dinner at Cracker Barrel for Wayne's Granny, which was bitter sweet!! The day of Mothers day, we went to church, then I came home and relaxed all day, didn't do a thing and that's how I wanted it to be. :) I received some precious gifts from my baby boy that day, he made me a thumb print flower pot with a flower planted in it, a cute card from school, a letter explaining what all Mommy likes (that was too cute and funny some of the things he said), him and Daddy got me some candy, a nice browning jacket (my choice :)), and a tee shirt. I had a wonderful Mothers day and am so blessed to celebrate a day full of love from my baby boy that God so dearly blessed me with!! I am truly thankful to be apart of a wonderful family, and appreciate all beautiful Mothers out there!!

We've been hanging around the club a lot lately, playing in the pool, and enjoying life! :) Hear are a few photos from the month of May... Hunters been silly lately and SUPER sweet and loving!! I can't believe how fast my babies growing! Love is heart!!

Memorial Day weekend went by too fast but we had a pretty relaxing holiday. We washed and flead our poor pups Friday, they were in desperate need.. they are sweet boys!! :) Hubby and I went out to California Dreaming Friday night, great date night! Saturday was a relaxing day, we.played in the pool and layed out in the sun, my kind of day!! Sunday we went out on the boat with friends of ours to the river, Hunters first boat ride.. he loved it!! He did so well on the boat, we fished for some cat fish, and swimmed in the river a few times. Despite the hurricane that was suppose to come through, the weather wasn't that bad after all, a little windy and a few sprinkles, but over all we had a fun filled day! Now Hunter can't wait to go out again soon! Ha. That Monday we headed to my Grannys to visit and cooked our catfish we caught out in the boat Sunday. We ate a Yummy dinner, then took Hunter fishing for a little while at the lake down from my Grannys house. We didn't catch anything but we had fun just being out by the lake. (no photos were taking bc I forgot)

I cannot believe we are already halfway through the year and It's June!! Time sure has flown by, I'm looking forward to a fun filled Summer ahead with my family!! Let the fun festivities begin!!!

July 4th weekend

This is a little late! I've been so busy with all these summer events and vacation, I'm finding it hard to keep up!

Heres a recap of our weekend...
Friday I took my niece and her two friends to the beach! That was my first time I got to visit the beach this year, it was really relaxing and we enjoyed every bit of it!!


On the way home from the beach we stopped @ ToysRUs and bought Hunter yet, another pool. The last one we bought had a whole in it the 2nd day we had it! This one is a lot bigger and we got a great deal, on sale for $48, can't go wrong with that!! We blew it up as soon as we got home. Look how nice this pool looks. Ha!

That night my baby got his first black eye. He was crossing over from the end of our bed to dresser and his hand slipt when he put it on dresser, and smack, his face hit the dresser! Poor baby cried and cried. His right dye and cheek was black and blue. He was okay after 5 minutes then laughed it off when he looked at it in mirror. Ha, tough cookie! :)

Saturday we went to the hunting club to lay out corn and hang cameras. Preparing for August 15th, first day of deer season, sooo CANNOT wait!!

Sunday we went to church, enjoyed a beautiful service remembering all our troops who've served for our freedom!

That evening we took Hunter to see his very first movie in theater!! We took him to see Cars 2. He was so excited to go, he loves cars!! He did pretty good considering this was his first movie. He didn't pay attention the whole time of course, but he was good. We got up three times to go potty and he squirmed from seat to seat. Lol But we enjoyed taking him!!

After the movie, we all got in the pool and had a blast! Hunter loved his new pool and so did Mommy and Daddy!!

Monday, Hunter finally let us sleep in, until 9 that is!! I'm not complaining!! We spent most the day in the pool. Got lots of sun! Then that night we bought a few fire works and lit them for Hunter! He enjoyed it, except for the really loud ones, he'd cover his ears and run for his.life!! Haha, It was funny!

Over all we had a really nice weekend relaxing at the house and spending time with family! My kind of weekend!!

Now hopefully I can post about our Vacation trip to the Moutians we took 2 weeks ago. I cannot wait to show all the great pictures we took.
