Hakuna Matata

I took Hunter to see his first 3D movie on Tuesday, The Lion King!!

This was one of my favorite Disney movies as a child and I wanted Hunter to experience how wonderful this movie is but in 3D!

This was not only his first 3D (second) movie in theater, but also my first time seeing anything in 3D.

He thought all those animals were so cool, when he first put his glasses on he was like " wow, look Mommy."

He was trying to touch the screen, it was too cute! He even saw a tone of deer, and as they ran off he says to me "Mommy they got away" (meaning before he could shoot) Ha, that's my boy!

He did very well staying still threw out the movie, he got up a few times but only because his cousin Darren was getting out of his seat. He's such a Copycat lately, ha!

We all really enjoyed seeing The Lion King, it brought back so many memories as being a child. So much fun!

Another movie we'll be owning as soon as it hit stores!!

Courageous Weekend

Last night we got the chance to see the movie Courageous with our church and let me just say that it was the best movie I've seen in a LONG time, hands down!!!

It was a heart felt movie that will leave you crying then laughing. It touched my heart to the fullest. If you haven't seen in yet I would recommend seeing it today! It's based on Father's making a commitment to God to do better for there family. It hit right at home with our family and I'm sure it will change a lot of people in the way they live for God and there family's.

I even got a good picture of me and my hubby after the movie, ha. Finally! :)

This past weekend was BEAUTIFUL, the weather was so lovely out!! So we spent most of our weekend outside.

Friday my brother came over and spent some time with Hunter before he left for Georgia on Monday. He loves his Uncle Bubba! ♥

Saturday we were out riding dirt roads and hunting deer. Ha.
(I didn't see nothing ALL day, boo)

Sunday we skipped church to sleep in (sad I know but I needed it). Spent the day around the house lounging and playing outside until it was time for us to head to movies.

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.

July 4th weekend

This is a little late! I've been so busy with all these summer events and vacation, I'm finding it hard to keep up!

Heres a recap of our weekend...
Friday I took my niece and her two friends to the beach! That was my first time I got to visit the beach this year, it was really relaxing and we enjoyed every bit of it!!

On the way home from the beach we stopped @ ToysRUs and bought Hunter yet, another pool. The last one we bought had a whole in it the 2nd day we had it! This one is a lot bigger and we got a great deal, on sale for $48, can't go wrong with that!! We blew it up as soon as we got home. Look how nice this pool looks. Ha!

That night my baby got his first black eye. He was crossing over from the end of our bed to dresser and his hand slipt when he put it on dresser, and smack, his face hit the dresser! Poor baby cried and cried. His right dye and cheek was black and blue. He was okay after 5 minutes then laughed it off when he looked at it in mirror. Ha, tough cookie! :)

Saturday we went to the hunting club to lay out corn and hang cameras. Preparing for August 15th, first day of deer season, sooo CANNOT wait!!
Hunter riding In the truck.

Sunday we went to church, enjoyed a beautiful service remembering all our troops who've served for our freedom!

Hunter enjoying a yummy white and blue cupcake. :)

That evening we took Hunter to see his very first movie in theater!! We took him to see Cars 2. He was so excited to go, he loves cars!! He did pretty good considering this was his first movie. He didn't pay attention the whole time of course, but he was good. We got up three times to go potty and he squirmed from seat to seat. Lol But we enjoyed taking him!!

After the movie, we all got in the pool and had a blast! Hunter loved his new pool and so did Mommy and Daddy!!

Monday, Hunter finally let us sleep in, until 9 that is!! I'm not complaining!! We spent most the day in the pool. Got lots of sun! Then that night we bought a few fire works and lit them for Hunter! He enjoyed it, except for the really loud ones, he'd cover his ears and run for his.life!! Haha, It was funny!

Over all we had a really nice weekend relaxing at the house and spending time with family! My kind of weekend!!

Now hopefully I can post about our Vacation trip to the Moutians we took 2 weeks ago. I cannot wait to show all the great pictures we took.

Big Boy Bed

This past weekend I had four days off which was very nice. I can just say that I LOVE my job!!! We didn't do a whole lot over the weekend. My husband and I went to see this movie....

I really enjoyed seeing Country Strong and would go seeit again, and again. As a matter of fact I'd like to own this movie and the sound track! That Bo sure is a cutie pie, and gosh his smile is to die for! Ha. You have to go see it if you haven't yet!
We figured since Hunter has become a big boy now, that it was time to convert his crib into a bed. It's actually just a daybed for now until he outgrows the mattress then we'll turn it into a normal bed. He sure did love his new bed and so did mommy. It killed my back just picking him up over that rail everyday! He was tickled to death over his new bed and burst into excitement when he crawled into it. I have it all on video which I'll try to upload later.

So far he has done very well with his new bed. Surprisingly he hasn't escaped out of it yet. He's slept all through the night like a big boy. ;)

Sunday I woke up not feeling very well but I went to church anyways to teach my Sunday School class. Afterwords, I skipped church and came home and took some meds and a nice long nap. Monday I ended up going to the Dr. for my cold and it ended up being a upper respiratory infection, doc gave me some sample meds and told me to buy some Mucinex... so far I've been feeling much better. I believe it's this crazy South Carolina weather that's gotten everyone feeling sick. Yuck!

I want to thank you all for your prayers for my mom. I really appreciate it. An update, she just went home from the hospital last night and feeling much better. The nurse did find something else wrong with her, a fluttering has taken place in her heart while hooked up to the machines. Something else to be worried about... She has to see a heart Dr. this weekend and they'll let her know what's going on from then. So continue to please keep her in your prayers.
Thanks!!!
Have a nice week ladies!!!

I'm Back

from a long break from blogging it seems. I have had a lot of catching up to do as far as my work and a lot of blog reading. Phew, glad that's out the way

As you know my poor baby had been sick for 3 weeks straight. I stayed out of work last Thursday to keep him home with mommy so he could have a full recovery from his strep throat and any other sickness that's been going around. He missed the whole week of daycare, so we got to spend lots of time together, which was amazing!!! I felt as if my little man had grown closer to mommy within those few days. We played a good bit together, when I asked if he loved mommy, he would put his sweet baby face on me and smile, he is the most precious gift God could have ever given me! ♥

Check out what his shirt says "mummy says I'm sweeter" Too cute!
.
Friday I spent the day with my granny back at my home town in Cross. We went to Sweatman's BBQ for lunch, which was absolutely delicious (I missed that place so much), and we went into town to look around at Wally World in MC. That was the 1st time I had went into that particular walmart in a long time, you see, I used to work there for over a year, and had a great time growing up with friends working there. Good times.
.
That night the family went out to Ruby Tuesday's for dinner, ~fat butt~ :) I got a scare that night, I was cutting up Hunter's fruit (grapes) for him to eat, when he accidentally grabbed a whole one before I could cut it up, and he chocked on it. Scared me to death, luckily he caught his breath within a few seconds and must have swallowed it. Poor babe was scared as well, he started crying.
.
We didn't do much on Saturday but lounged around and played in clothes hampers most of the day.

My husband, niece and I were suppose to go to a Halloween Haunted house Extravaganza with some friends of ours, but they canceled due to my friends husband. So we went to a movie instead and saw this
Couples Retreat. This was a great movie, not appropriate for a 13 year old, sorry Miranda, but for married couples. Vince is hilarious! Before the movie I finally got a good pic of my husband and I! He hates taking pictures so It's very rare I can get a good one, I guess that's most men for ya. :)

My son is back in daycare this week, and so far I haven't gotten a phone call that he's been sick. Crossing my fingers he can make it threw one more day of daycare.
