Hunters 5th Birthday Party!!

  We celebrated my babies 5th Birthday party last Saturday, August 24th!! Did I honestly just say that?? Man, it seems just yesterday I was changing his diapers!!
Crazy how fast time really flies!!
 Just look at my baby!! 😕
Hunter's birthday party theme was batman this year, and it was going to be held at our county park, but rain changed our plans.

We ended up celebrating his birthday at our apartment, and I'm honestly thankful we had it here because I made so many decorations, this made it 10x better at house!!

Hunter had many new friends that celebrated with us on his big day; Mason, Brady, Tristen and of course Darren.

He had a great turn out and got many wonderful gifts!!

We are so very Thankful for each person who attended and who are apart of our babies life!!

We had a friend make his super awesome batman cake which was a big hit!

I made  everything, from the invitations to the goody bag to the pinata to the photo booth, birthday banner,  the "bat bombs" (marshmallow pops), etc.
I'd have to say he had a PRETTY AWESOME Birthday party thanks to his WONDERFUL CRAFTY Momma!!! ha..

Seriously I know each year I go all out, especially every year I learn a little more about decorating but I absolutely just love it!! I enjoy making my baby and his guest happy, happy, happy, ha and it brings me joy to see my babies face light up each year. I never had these things growing up so I want everything perfect for my child!!

Cake and ice cream were the only things served along with the Marshmallow pops for favors.

The photo booth was a huge hit as well, we all had so much fun!!

Even our kitty Tiger joined in on all the fun, ha!

The Kids enjoyed all that candy they busted out of the piñata!

And after the party we had an after party ha......
Drum roll~~~~~^
The best gift of them all was when Uncle  Bubba showed up late and gave Hunter his first real four-wheeler!!! He LOVES it!! He can't get enough of his four-wheeler, that's all we hear him talk about these days! ha.

Later that evening celebrating the rest of his big day we let him ride the four-wheeler around the house at his Nanny and Grandaddies, then went fishing!!

What a southern county boy!! Ha! Love it!

I'm so very thankful my baby made it to a new healthy year and beyond grateful to have him in our lives!! Hunter is such a blessing to us all and we couldn't ask for a better son!

Here's to a new year, new phases and lots of great memories!!

Love you baby boy and Happy 5th Birthday!!!! Mommy and Daddy are so very proud of you!!!
 ~~~
All whipped out....
      **Milestones**
Here are some things he's into these days:
guns, four-wheelers, action figures, super hero's, loves his boots. riding his bike, fishing, swimming, playing his leapster frog, hot wheels, guitars, drums any instrument,reading books, coloring, very good at drawing,
He enjoys playing "baby/baby" with mommy (a game we play where he pretends to be the baby and I the mommy ha)
He loves to jam out to rock music or just dance in general (he loves B.G!!) I wonder why. ha.
Likes to make all kinds of aggravating sound effects with his trucks, grr.. ha.
when he toots he laughs, lol
He comes up with some really great stories and he LOVES to talk, and talk, and talk!!!
Every time we tuck him in bed he runs his mouth after we've told him goodnight numerous times.
His new thing these day's is when he's talking he's says, I'm serious mom, really, I'm not kidding. ha
He loves to say something then says, I'm just kidding.
He doesn't listen very well when he's told to do something, we are ALWAYS having to repeat everything we ask at least 10 times before he's threatened.
He uses his manners VERY WELL!! Yes ma'am, no ma'am, please, thank you.. so very sweet!!
He loves my hugs and kisses, but lately he's told me a time or too, no Mommy I don't want kisses.. :( makes me sad.
He's been a smart ellic lately, very much so!!.. If i say something like, Hunter don't hit that car with the car door, he says, Mom that's not a car that's a truck.. ugh, well excuse me!! ha
He's in a size 5T/Small boy, wears a size 13-size1 shoe, his stuffed animals are wolf, panda, (he's growing out of his stuffed animals but still fiddles with a tag here and there)
He still doesnt' wash his body just yet, I try to tell him to do it himself but he's always saying he can't, which I know he can!! Testing me!
Same goes for getting dress from time to time, he whimpers about that.
No lose teeth yet, which he's been patiently waiting on the tooth fairy. ha.
He's 40 inches tall and weighs 40.
still loves them chicken nuggets!
He has a heart for Jesus Christ, lately he's been talking about Jesus a LOT, Jesus is bigger than anyone, Jesus sees us all the time, he loves us, he says, Mommy you are not my boss, daddy is, then I reply no Mommy and Daddy are both your boss, then he says but Jesus is the boss of all of us. ha. love him!
The Lord is growing so much in our little boy and we are so very Thankful for God's love and what he does for us each and every day!!
Love ya tootabugs!!!
You'll thank me someday for capturing hear silly moments!! Ha!
Oh the joys of the selfie a at this age ha!!
Country Boy at Heart
We had a pretty low key weekend.Friday I went with Wayne to see an eye lazer specialist. Wayne has been complaining about wearing contacts for as long as I've known him and the job he works at doesn't help his eyes much with all the dirt & chemicals flying in the air. I said I was going to call and make an appointment for him since he "never" seems to want to call himself, figures a woman always has to do a man's job. Ha. Well we went in to see the specialist and I am so happy for my hubby... he'll be having eye surgery on April 27th and can say "Good bye" to contacts & glasses for the rest of his LIFE!! I am beyond excited for him to be able to see like normal people and I know he's going to feel so much better. The good thing about this lazic procedure is it only takes 10 minutes for the surgery and doesn't cost near as much as we thought it would. This will be a huge life experience change for Wayne, so I ask that you please pray for him when he does get ready for his surgery and that all goes well afterwards.
Saturday was a fun filled day for my little tootabugs. He was invited to a birthday party @ Rolly Pollies (which is a preschool gym filled with lots of fun things to do) by his friend from school, Christian who turned 3. Hunter had a BLAST with his buddy at the birthday party. They did all sorts of things like, jumping and sliding down the blow up castle, jumping on trampoline, crawling on monkey bars, walking on the balance beam, hanging from the sky lift and jumping in the foam pit (kinda like the balls but foam blocks),did some rock climbing and so much more. They did this for an hour then the kids ate lunch, and had birthday cake. Hunter really enjoyed himself Thanks to Christian and his sweet family! This is what he did as soon as I drove out the parking lot.... (I didn't get any pictures of the party, oops)
After arriving home and napping 2 hours later we road with Granddaddy out to a hunting club near my Granny's house for him to check out and join.While checking out this hunting club and riding around I snapped some REALLY cute pictures of this handsome little boy..
(notice his belt?? It has his name imprinted in the back and has some trees with a few deer/bucks on it)bought it at the deer classic we went to last weekend =)
"Hi Mommy"
That's our lil' Southern Country Boy at ♥
Sunday we went to church then the boys relaxed most of the day while mommy got to hunt turkeys that evening. The hubby wasn't too happy about that, ha! A girl needs her own time too, whether It's shopping, hanging out with friends or... HUNTING! (I think I'm beginning to be worse than my husband/with hunting all the time even though he was the one who introduced me to hunting ) Ha! Of course I didn't see or hear the first turkey, but it was relaxing being in the woods by myself enjoying God's green Earth and all It's nature!(don't laugh ya'll) :)
Who new that would be me one day hunting! Gotta love it.
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend, Happy Monday! Blah. :D
