Coastal Carolina Fair

Two weeks ago the fair came to town!! We normally don't like to go because it can get expensive and sometimes really a waiste of money, but we couldn't resist not taking Hunter this year!! That would be the only reason why we go each year, he just LOVES it!!

We had a wonderful cold night at the fair, minus me losing money and Hunter not getting to ride all the rides like I'd planned. :/ 

Hopefully next years fair will be 10X better for him and me! Ha. 

Celebrating my husbands 35th birthday!!

Someone celebrated a birthday last Monday!! The love of my life celebrated 35 yrs Monday, November 4th and I'm grateful to be apart of this day with him!! He may not be the perfect husband I long for, and have made mistakes, but through it all God has guided our every way and I love him so much and am VERY blessed!!!! 

I took him out that Saturday night for Outback, *his favorite* for his birthday dinner!!

Since this was the first year celebrating his birthday in our new home (apartment) and i love all things crafty,I wanted to make his day memorable! 

I blew up 35 balloons and attached 35 photos of Wayne's past at the end so he would wake up to a huge surprise!! Love me some Pinterest!!

Um and we kind of bought him a four-wheeler which was not apart of the plan, ha. But, it was worth it!!

I invited his family and mine over to celebrate this special day with him and I have to say, I believe he had a wonderful special birthday!!

Fall Festivities & Halloween

Okay I’ve just been a little anti social on the blogging world, just can’t get my tiny fingers to type anything anymore it seems…  shame on me!

October was a fun eventful month for the Lawhon clan,

We went on a field trip to Boon Hall pumpkin patch with Hunter’s class for the first time as a family . We had a lot of fun and enjoyed spending quality time together! We rode the hay ride, went through the corn maze and played many different games.  The bus ride with all those kids was a bit rough but worth it. Ha.

 

 

I surprised Hunter at school and ate lunch with my little man! He was tickled to death to have his mommy there. My sweet angel!

We went dog hunting for the first time this year. Visited a neighbor’s club house and really enjoyed it. We didn’t get to see much of anything, but we had fun just being there together as a family.

 

Hunter got his first report card… he did pretty well, need a little improvement in some areas, but we will work on that! J

 

For Halloween night Hunter and I dressed up as pirates.. argh… ha

We had so much fun, we went to our church festival, they had lots of yummy food, games and jumping castles/slides for the children!! I am so thankful to be apart of a wonderful church!!  Hunter came home with lots of candy and one tired little boy! Ha.

 

 

Friends, Mom, Whistling, .. Playing catch up..

Okay this post was suppose to be for Septemeber ha. 

So I have reconnected with my ex BFF Christina, yes we made up after 3/12 yrs, I'm sure y'all remember the post I made back in 2010!? Anywho, we put the past behind us and made up. We also reconnected with another old friend, Erica!! Back in the day we were very close friends, and I've missed them so much!! It was great catching up with these ladies!!

Hunter went still hunting with me and is daddy for the first time!! He did pretty well Wayne said!

And guess who surprised me and Hunter, GRANDMA!!! She surprised me in a Wednesday!! Who does that on an evening after work! Ha., 

We spent most days with her running the roads bc she didn't have bit 2 weeks down. Love that woman!!

Wayne and I went on a cruis for his annual boat banquet!! Took lost of beautiful photos and had lots of fun!!

Hunter has learned to whistle and it's ton the point where his cheeks look like they would hurt from forming his lips into a fish face ! Lol he does it everyday, (or did in September) one funny story, Wayne told me; him and Hunter got home one evening and they were getting out of truck, well there was this girl walking her dog, and Hunter just out of he blue whistles like he always do, like the whistle when u are whistling at a girl. Ha. He didn't see her, he was just being himself, and Wayne said  that girl gave him the most rudest look ever and he had to tell Hunter to stop. It was quit funny but embarrassing to Wayne!! Baha.. Funny stuff kids do!
