Toothpicks = Bad Boo Boo's

We've had quit an interesting weekend in the Lawhon family.

1. Friday my baby skinned his knee at daycare. We've been dealing with him being a really big baby about it all week. Ha. He doesn't allow anyone to touch it or even breath on it or he'll flip out, its quite an act but precious. ;)

We went to the club over the weekend, gearing up for August 15th of course..

Sunday evening I was in the middle of talking to Wayne, and Hunter sees some tooth picks sitting on dresser (that I was using for a project), he.asked me if he could please have them, I said no bc they will hurt u, he ask again and I say no, I should have removed them from his site, but instead I continued to talk to daddy. After a second later I hear Hunter screaming, I thought to myself oh gosh he poked himself in the eye, I panicked, ran into his room and the toothpick was sticking halfway into his wrist at an angle.

I felt so sorry for him, he must have slung his arm down and the toothpick jabbed him while in the carpet.

Daddy had to pull it out, thank God nothing broke off. He cried for maybe a minute, then he wad fine.

He was a true champ bc it looked worse than what he mad it out to be. The Dr. gave him some meds and it cleared right up.

I believe he'll understand when Momma says No, I mean it and toothpicks ate not to be played with (or left out for little hands:()

And on top of all of those bad boo boos, fastforward a few days, that Friday (weekend after) Hunter gets sick with a stomach bug early that Friday morning at 2 a.m!! He complained his tummy hurt and wanted me to rub it for him, I kept asking him if he had to per or poo, he said no just rub my tummy... Well I finally got him to try going to potty, and as soon as we entered into the bathroom he throws up EVERYWHERE, I mean my baby had thrown up so much it was crazy. I felt so sorry for him. Got him all cleaned up, bathroom cleaned, and he does it again, and again, and then one final time around 5 a.m. I laid by his side he while night/morning and kept a close eye on him. Thankfully it only lasted a few hrs, no fever was involved or anything. He woke up around 10 that nothing and felt fine.

Then 2 days later I got it, then Hubby got it. Like I said, thankfully it lasted only a few hrs.
We're all better now and lifes going great.

Beach Bums

We were Beaching it last weekend with all the kidos!

It was a gorgeous hot day, and the kids had a great time while Momma & Aunt Tammy got plenty of sun!

Hunter and I played monster trucks together. He's a huge fan of these Monster trucks,.. can you guess what his birthday theme will be?!?.. :)

Wayne and I went out with our good friends Kim and Tighe. That maybe our last night out together because they could be moving to Atlanta soon. I will truly miss my BFF!!

I have a very exciting announcement to make, I've been doing another round of P90X along with my friend Kim (which she is doing awesome btw), anyways, I've been eating everything healthy, tracking my food log, and doing my best to stay away from sweets (which is so hard ha), well since I started round 2, July 9th, I've lost 2 1/2lbs!!!

I'm down to 131 from 136 when I first started exercising in March! I'm 6lbs away from my goal of 125, this is the smallest I've been in yrs!!! I've lost so much weight I need a whole new wardrobe! Ha.

Life couldn't be any better right now! It's amazing what exercise and eating right will do to you, AMAZING!

July 4th Week

Our week of 4th of July was a pretty AMAZING week!!

The weekend before the 4th, that Saturday we Invited Hunter's BFF Dominic over for a fun filled day. This was the first time we ever had another friend of Hunters over and I was pretty tickled about it. :)

As soon ad Hunter saw Dominic he went crazy excited, started showing off his toys, his cool room, all of Daddy and Mommies trophies (which D was pretty scared of) Ha!

The boys played inside for a while, had the room destroyed in 5 seconds, lol.They played in the pool together (D didn't like the pool so much), they helped Mommy wash my car, played trucks.

Daddy took them for a four wheeler ride.

They then came inside and ate lunch. Dominic only stayed a few hrs then I had to take him home. The boys had a blast together and I'm hoping we'll have more fun events like this one!

Sunday we drove to Columbia Baptist Church for a 4th of July Liberty event they had going on.

It was a beautiful ceremony, that had a kids parade, beautiful singing, honored our men & women, and had a fireworks display. Every yr we try going to this event, this rr we brought Hunter for his 1st time.

He enjoyed the program and was on his best behavior.

Ate a blue lolipop to keep him quite :)

The one thing that really touched my heart was when they were singing the many different songs of our Lord God, and out of no where Hunter says" Mommy God is in heaven and he loves me! He's such a great listener and blessing!!

On Wednesday, July 4th Hunter and I went to the beach along with my niece Miranda and her friend. We got there really early so It wasn't as crowded.

Hunter loved playing in the water and dodging those beach waves.

We built sand castles, played in the mudd and he played with some kids.

That night to be honest, we didn't do anything. We were so drained from the beach, and I really didn't want to go out and fight the crowd to see fireworks. Hunter isn't a huge fan anyways of fireworks, scares his little heart to death.

It was a nice relaxing night, watched movies then crashed early.

The weekend after the 4th, my husband and I loaded up the four wheeler and tractor to head to the hunting club. We cleared out all of our tree stands, gearing up for hunting season August 15th!!!

Not too much longer guys, yay!!!! :) Cannot wait!!

Wayne got the privilege to take out one of the Scout boats he built over the weekend. Him and his friend Jason are supervisors now and they have more privileges like this one, and It's very exciting!!!

We took the boat out that Thursday and we had SO MUCH FUN!!

Didn't take a whole lot of pictures bc I was having too much fun and of course Wayne hates pictures as you all may know. Boo!

We ate lunch on the water at California Dreaming -Awesome restaurant btw!

We ate lunch, then we were ready to load up in the boat, and well, let's just say we stayed longer than we planned due to low tide!

Bummer!

Our boat was on the sand bar by time we got done eating so we weren't able to leave unless someone pulled us out (which thankfully someone did 40 min. later) or we could wait 3-4 hrs until the tide came back in. Ugh!

We kind of got a laugh out of that one! Ha.

So glad someone was able to pull our boat out!

We had a wonderful time though, despite the low tide and I got lots of sun! :) Hoping to do this again SOON!!

Friday night me, my sil, and Mil went to the movies to see

and OMG ladies.... all I can say is WOW!! Ha! Awesome movie, I WILL BE OWNING THIS when it hits stores!

It was a fun night that night, felt like I was actually at a strip club. Ha.

Go see it ladies if you haven't yet! I promise u you'll love it! :)

That Saturday & Sunday we pretty much relaxed pool side. Celebrated 2 birthdays, my fil and Granny.

Hunter says some really cute things sometimes that melts my heart! 

As I was reading him a bed time story the other night, he looks up at me and says, "Mommy you are so pretty, so pretty just like Miranda (my niece)" Ha!

I thought to myself well, she's gorgeous so I must be beautiful!! He he. :)

He's such a sweet heart and I love him to pieces!!!
