Visit to GeeGee's house

Last weekend we stayed a few nights with GeeGee. Figured she needed some company because we know how lonely it can be at times living by yourself.

Saturday we were invited to my cousins house for a Family cookout. There were about over 50 family members that showed up at this cookout and I only new of about 15. Ha! I believe they invited more of the other family's side than our side. We had lots of great food, fellowship and laughter. Everything was held outside in this huge shed, and Hunter LOVED every bit of being at there house, he saw cows, horses, dogs, and a tractor. We had a wonderful time!

Sunday morning we were getting ready for church and my dad pulled in the yard with this HUGE 10 point buck!! I couldn't believe how huge this thing was considering it came from behind his house, and you don't see many huge deer like that in South Carolina. He was one proud man and Hunter was excited too! :)

That evening we got home around 5 and painted/decorated Hunter's pumpkin. We didn't take him to the pumpkin patch this year yet so I said I'd just pick him up one from Wal-mart and he loved it just as much!

Pumpkin Patch Fun

This past weekend we took Hunter to the pumpkin patch with all his church friends. He got a baby pumpkin, a hay ride & did fun crafts. He had a blast. All he wanted to say was "Pumpkin" all day long. :)

Pumpkin Patch

This past weekend hubby and I took Hunter to the pumpkin patch right up the street from our house. He got to pick out his own pumpkin with some help from mommy & daddy. I think he enjoyed himself running around looking at all of them pumpkins.

While daddy carved the pumpkin, Hunter & I went to work in the yard raking up leaves.
Then of course we played in them.
Daddy carving the pumpkin with his unique skills.
Scary pumpkin, Daddy says he drew his mouth like Hunter's teeth. :)
Check out last years (click here) pumpkin and my sweet ham-hawk! :D Such a big difference!
