BIRTHDAY BOY TURNS 4 TODAY!!

My dearest son, today you turned another year older, how is this seriously possible?!?..

Mommy and Daddy cannot believe you are 4 today <<--- (Did I just say that)!!!

My son you have grown into a handsome young man and we couldn't be any prouder of you!!

You have changed so much lately, times been going by so quickly, life's been crazier than ever that I haven't had time to write down everything you have done/said and I'm saddened by it. Mommy needs to stay on board with all of these changes because we all know we'll never get this moment back. :(

Hunter you have gotten so tall and link lately. ha. You weigh about 43lbs and around 4 ft tall, you are in a size 11 shoe (big foot), size 4T clothing, some 5T's. You love to sing and dance whenever there is music on. You are ALWAYS jumping off of something (scares me half to death). You love it when Mommy reads to you then you say "me turn" and you like to go through the book by yourself and call out things that are happening in the picture to me.

 You have so many wonderful brothers and sisters (stuffed animals) at home with you that you cuddle up with and love.. there is Rex, Rusty, Tiger, Max, Kitty boo boo, Angel, T-Rex, and I'm sure many more.

You make sure you inform us now a days that we didn't do or say something the correct way, you love correcting us shall I say. Such a smarty pants latley. Ha! A little example (I went to tuck you in the other night and you informed me that I didn't tuck you in like you told me to, instead of having the covers half way on your chest like I did, you made sure "Mommy, you didn't tuck me in, "I told you" I wanted the covers all the way up to here". (You are ALWAYS saying that you "TOLD US SO" but really you tell us half of what you said and add the rest of your story after we've already done what we've had to do or say. Your favorite words ... "I told you so Mommy, I told you".. haha

You love playing pretend baby or puppy with Mommy. You say things like "you be Mommy and I be Baby okay" then you start crying like a new born baby, It's bitter sweet. :) You say your manners so well, everything is yes ma'am/sir, no ma'am/sir, thank you or THANKS, you remind us to chew with our mouths closed when eating, you are very polite. We have raised you well I'd have to brag!

You have a huge vocabulary now days, sometimes you come home with new words each week, last week it was "Mommy these (blank) are DELICIOUS". Oh that made me giggle when I heard that come from you. :)  You say so many cute things lately, every night before going to sleep I tuck you in, and when I start to walk away and close the door you say "mommy, I love you so much", I say it back, then you say "goodnight", then you say "mommy", pause.. "You didn't give me a kiss", so I give you a kiss, then we go through the whole "I love you" all over again, then you say "Mommy you didn't tuck me in", and it continues for about a minute.. ha. So bitter sweet!! You melt mommies heart!!

In the mornings during the school week I'll turn on the radio and get you to dance your way out of the bed, Its the only way I know how to get you up and moving because you DO NOT  like to wake up in the mornings. I also tickle you, then we hide from daddy so he can't tickle you either.

In the evenings you enjoy "helping" daddy outside in the yard. You say "Mommy I want to work with Daddy when we get home";. So cute!

You are always talking up a storm, telling me silly stories about your pretend brother and his sister at there house and going hunting. :) You explained to me the other day that "at my brother's house you can go hunting Mommy, at my brothers house where he hunts, he has a big, big, big, big, big,... pond with crocodiles you have to cross through to hunt in stand", I said I don't think I'd like to hunt at your brothers house, sounds very scary, you reply "Mommy It's okay, you'll be okay", then you talk about you hunt with a bow, and kill big,big, big bucks this huge (holds up arms as wide as he can). Haha Oh the stories you come up with fascinate me and your daddy!! :) You are def. our little Hunter!!!

Lately your new word is "look it" (look Mommy). ha.

Lately all you've talked about is you being a big boy and can do everything by yourself because you are not a baby anymore. Ha. When I say you'll always be Mommy's baby tho. right, you say no Mommy, I'm a big boy. :) Ah I love you so much!!

These past few months have been so wonderful having a 3 almost 4 year old around. It's so amazing what they say, and come up with.

You have grown out of that tantrum phase (Thank you Lord), and understand what we tell you to do or else time out is enforced (which you dislike)

Some things you are into lately, T.V shows; Super why, Franklin, Bubble Gumpies, Calhou, Fresh Beat Band, Chuggington, Jake the neverland Pirates, dino dan,  Love that dog/Jesus movie G-ma bought you (can't remember name of it), Monsters is by far your favorite movie,  tee-ball ( you can throw a ball very well), spider/bat man, super heroes, dinosaurs, any truck or train, dirt ha, books, puzzles, building things, coloring, hunting.

You can say your #'s up to 20 now, say some ABC's.

Oh this letter could go on and on, I could talk about you forever.

I just want you to know that you mean EVERYTHING to me and your Daddy and we are BEYOND blessed to have you apart of our lives and God chose you to be our son! You are the BEST thing that has EVER happened to me and your daddy!! We are so VERY proud of you baby boy!! Next week you'll be moved up into your 4K class and It's so hard to believe this!! Hunter we love you and pray that you continue to grow up to be the little boy God intended for you to be!!

Dear Hunter

Hunter,

My son I am overwhelmed to think that in less than 3 months you’ll be 4!!

I want to cry just thinking about how fast my baby is growing up, It’s not fair that you can grow up so fast.
I wish you could stay little forever, especially at this stage of your life, but I know God intended for us to grow and live life. Hunter you have been the most sweetest baby boy lately and I just love you to pieces!! You make Mommy’s heart smile so much baby. Your at that stage in life where everything you say or do is funny and lovable. You say things out of the blue that we don’t expect you to say or do like,you’ll give me a big hug and say “Mommy I love you so much” oh that just melts my heart EVERY TIME!! I try praying with you at night (some nights you ignore me or too busy to pay attention), I tell you to close your eyes, bow your head and put your hands together, the other night you did the prayer so well with Mommy I was very proud of you!! I wanted to take a picture of that moment so I asked if you could do it again, you looked at me and said “Mommy I can’t, it hurts” haha. I laughed and told you that you were silly.

Sometimes you’ll wear your hat backwards, or do a cool move with one of your trucks or skateboards and ask “Watch me Mommy, That’s cool Mommy?” Too funny. You are always wanting Mommy to watch you do something, if I don’t look you make sure I have your full attention by repeating “Watch this” every second. Ha. When we are riding in the car/truck you are always pointing out something and you inform me God made everything, the moon, sun, trees, grass, house, etc. Your such a blessing and we’re beyond proud you know your God and his son Jesus!!

You love to inform us also that there are big bucks in the woods anytime we ride by woods. Ha. You are definitely going to be a little hunter, you already know the idea of how this sport goes, and you LOVE watching the hunting shows with Daddy. You will glair at the t.v for hours if we let you. J We cannot wait for that first chance when you take down your very first kill!!! It will be cool! Ha.

You are such a blessing in my life Hunter! Mommy and Daddy are so very proud of you and the young boy you have become! Since we’ve switched you into your new daycare, you have done a complete change, in your attitude, your behavior, your way of speaking, everything has changed for the better, you are so much well mannered, never get angry or throw tantrums anymore, you are respectful, don’t hit or throw things, listen more than you did, you are just all around Mommy’s little Angel!! (for the moment) :) You enjoy the MANY fun activities each day in your new school, you’ve been on field trips to the park, road the school bus, take walks down the street for a nature adventure, your taking swimming lessons with your friends at the YMCA, and ya’ll have so many more fun things to do this summer your going to LOVE it! I wish I could record every little thing that you do and say so I can keep it for memories forever. Your facial expressions are so sweet lately, you scrunch up that little freckle face nose and have the cutest little smile.

The more you grow up the more you look like your Momma with all them freckles. Your always talking about your brother (imaginary friend I suppose), how you always go to your brother’s house, and he has a big truck, and you like to play with him. Haha. Your voice seems like its changed within this week, you yall with a little southern slang ( country accent). :) Your not as picky as you used to be with trying new foods. When your tummy hurts you say to Mommy, " Mommy please rub my tummy, my tummy hurts", Mommies hands always makes my baby feel better. :) You love to dance and show off your moves on the “dance” floor (you watch too much Fresh Beat Band ha).

You like for Mommy to take pictures of you when you bust out a cool move. Your favorite animals to cuddle with are Rex, kitty boo-boo, Max, Rusty the pup, lil pup (cinnamon). You’re a sneezy head as I like to call it, every single morning you wake up and every night before you fall asleep you are always sneezing your little head off! I feel so sorry for you and those nasty allergies you inherited from your Mommy and Daddy!!!

When you have finally fallen asleep at night, Mommy and Daddy love watching you sleep, we could stair at you for hours if we could, your such a little angel to watch.

I know that all these wonderful precious moments wont last for long, one day you’ll turn away from Mommies kisses, you wont need our help, you wont like it when I come in your room and invade your privacy (teenage years), but for now I am going to cherish every sweet little moment I have with my precious Angel!!! Life goes by wayyyyyy to fast, times like this can slip up in an instant, God could take you home whenever he wants too, It’s hard to imagine ever losing you. This is why I know to spend each day wisely, love your family, hold them tighter than ever before, take care of the ones you love. There are so many crazies in this world we live in today! I think a lot about what your future holds, what Mommy &amp; Daddy’s future holds for us, but I know that by serving our powerful father God in heaven, he’ll keep us safe and together, no matter what the situation may be.

Hunter you amaze me everyday with the new things you’ve learned and accomplished! Some days can be a struggle razing you, it’s hard, but we make it through one day at a time. God guides us each and everyday. I’m very, very proud of you my son, you are the biggest, best blessing in my life! You make me whole and complete me. Thank you for being my son!!

P.S: I know one day you’ll go back to read this (well at least I hope you will or ur wife will ha) and see all the great accomplishments you’ve achieved, and the things your Momma and Daddy has done for you and you’ll be proud or embarrassed or ashamed, haha. But I write these letters from the bottom of my heart bc we love you so much. I want to cry just writing you this, but you are my world and we are thankful for you each and every way!!! Dear Hunter

I’m going to make this post all about my handsome 3 yr old son today because Mommy hasn’t talked about her baby boy in quite a while now… Bad Mommy!!

Hunter, Day by day you are changing and growing into the handsome little boy that Mommy always knew you’d be. Your facial expression always puts a smile among my face. Those cute little freckles you have on your cute little nose are so Adorable! You carry on full conversations with me that go on and on and on, I do believe you are a motor mouth! Ha.

Sometimes when you talk to mommy you say things like, “Mommy I’m trying to talk (when I interrupt you, ha) “, “you’re a silly goofy do-do head (don’t ask)”, you have said a LOT of things, too many I can’t remember. You say things that make Mommy and Daddy laugh so much. Just the other day you were eating a Debbie cake, you asked Mommy if I wanted a cake, I responded by saying, “no Hunter, Mommy is trying to watch what she eats, those cakes will make your tummy fat like Daddy & G-daddy” His reply.. “I like getting fat Mommy”, ha you gotta love him! Mommy really likes to procrastinate when it comes to getting ready to go somewhere and you have caught on to my ways. I kept telling you the other morning Mommy will be ready in a few more minutes and we’ll go, I said that 10 minutes later and you come in the bathroom (as I was trying to hurry up and finish my hair) and said with an angry voice “Mommy hurry up let’s go!” Haha.. oh moments like these I’ll never forget (or I will so I have to write them down or post to blog J) .

You have been such a cuddle bug lately. You are always giving Mommy and Daddy hugs, and kisses then says to us, “I love you Mommy”. Your such a sweet boy and I love you so much!!

You are remembering things very well lately. For instance last week your Nanny took you to see Gee Gee to get some chicken nuggets for dinner that night, last night ya’ll went to Gee Gee’s house, Nanny left you in the car for a quick minute, she came back and said you look so sad. She looked at you and said “I love you Hunter”, you said “I don’t love you, I’m mad”, Nanny wasn’t expecting that, she asked why you were mad, and your reply was, “because you didn’t get me any Chicken nuggets”. Ahh.. so precious and funny how you remembered that and wanted some nuggets. You crack me up!

You have an imaginary brother. Everytime you talk to mommy, you say I'm not going to my brothers house, or I have a puppy at my brothers house.. um, Hunter you dont have a brother! :) I keep telling you this, but you inform me that you do have a brother that lives at his house. Haha. Kids and there imaginations. :)

Your getting pretty good at writing the letter H in your name. You haven’t gotten any of the other letters down right now, but learning. Your learning so many new things at school, for instance you can count to 20, right a few letters, right on straight & curvy lines, cut with scissors, learning manners, how to be a leader and not follow your friends, shapes, and so much more. You have gotten better in your behavior at school and home. Lately though you have been having rough days at school. Mommy & Daddy try to reward you with a coin through out the week if you bring home a good note, and let you buy a small toy at the end of the week. We’ve also been taking away your toys, t.v and outside play whenever you bring home a bad note. It seems to be working but we’ve slacked off lately do to busy schedule at work and church. Your school has also been rewarding you with rewards if your good and it seems to help out at home as well. We are so very proud of how far you have come Hunter. You are Mr. Independent, you don’t ever want Mommy to dress you hardly anymore, you want to wash yourself in the bath, comb your hair, brush your teeth, get your own milk/cup, and do things your way and not Mommies way. :(

Can’t believe how fast you are growing and your no longer Mommies little baby anymore. You are in a size 4T clothes, some 5T. You are getting so tall and lean. Your shoe size is a 10 some 11’s. Your still solid as a rock, we can barley pick you up anymore because of how heavy you have become.

You love playing outdoors, you are all boy that’s for sure! You love playing in the water/mud with your monster/dump trucks, we can’t seem to keep you out of the ditches lately, you love digging, riding your four wheeler (when it works), getting pretty good at riding your bike. You love going to the hunting club with Mommy & Daddy, hunting is definitely in your blood for sure. You love going to church and learning about God & Jesus. You have learned a lot about our heavenly father and we are so proud of you!! Your favorite food is “deer buck”, that’s what you said when asked by your teacher, mommy and daddy, silly head. J You like to play with your guitar, you will string it and pretend you’re a rock star singing,, duna-duna-duna-, and say watch me Mommy. You like showing me your dance moves, you are always doing some silly move on the floor. Ha. You like to play with action figures now, spider man, batman, a few other heroes. You love your train sets, reading books, learning about God, and working puzzles. Your favorite t.v shows are Franklin, Mickey Mouse club house, Dora & Diego, you love the movie Monsters, Cars, and I’m sure there are others but I can’t remember. You rarely watch television because we try to keep you entertained with other things and outdoors instead of being glued to the t.v.

Son Mommy and Daddy are sooo very proud of you and all the accomplishments you have achieved so far. We cannot believe in 4 months you’ll be 4!!! Really?!?!?.. It breaks my heart to see you grow up so fast, I wish you could stay little forever. :) Just know that even though we all have stressful days and I feel like I want to pull my hair out and yell at you for not listening, Mommy still loves you with all my heart!! You are my everything and I’m so blessed to have you as mine!! God made a beautiful miracle when he created you and I cannot thank him enough!!

Hunter we love you so much and pray that you continue to grow your faith in God and truly get to know him throughout your years
of life. You are an amazing little boy who makes our hearts smile everyday. Love you baby boy!!

Dear Hunter

Oh my son where do I began. It's been 4 months since I've written you a letter last. You have grown into a little boy now, your not Mommy's baby anymore and It's heartbreaking!! But you'll always be my baby boy no matter what you think. :)

I'm going to list a few things that you have done over the past few months.

You have been very Independent lately! You like to do things on your own or at least try. You can pull on and off your own clothes, you can get your own cup out of the fridge, you like to wash yourself while in the bath tub. You no longer let Mommy help you, if I do try helping you, you say "Mommy me, I can do it". Sigh…

You don't like it when I kiss your sweet face anymore, you wipe it off every time then Mommy has to pretend I'm crying before you let me give you another one. :) I can't believe your already growing out mommies kisses!

 

Every night during the week day we have a nightly routine,  you come home, we play for a few, go over your lessons you've learned throughout the day, eat dinner, take a bath, brush your teeth, read a book or two, then we say our prayers and It's a kiss goodnight and off to sleep you go. Well before you fall asleep you have to get up and grab a toy car or two and play with it very loudly like "Vroooooomm, vroom" you make those cool sound effects until your precious little soul falls asleep. When I come tuck you in before I head off to sleep, I find you sound asleep with your toys held tightly in your hands.. Bitter sweet!

 

You are a big helper around the house, you are always wanting to lend a hand no matter what we're doing.

 

You talk so much now that It's not even funny. Ha. Your mouth is running nonstop by the time you wake up in the morning until you go to sleep at night.

You can put many sentences together now. You say some really funny stuff that make Mommy and Daddy laugh like: Mommy I tarted then you laugh, you stop for a minute and make a concerned face and say "mommy what that?", when Mommy or Daddy speak to someone else you sometimes repeat what we say and call that person by there name instead of Nanny or Granddaddy. When Mommy takes pictures of you, sometimes you get so aggravated with me and huff and puff about it. Ha.

You have quite a variety of facial expressions lately. Sometimes when Mommy and Daddy tells you to do something you don't really want to do, you'll slouch over, huff and say "Alright". It's too funny. Some other things your saying lately are "I don't want to" every time I tell you to do something (It's driving me coo-coo).When we ask you something like did you pick up your toys, you'll huff and say "Not Yet." One day at the club u picked up a big stick and told Mommy "poop make u strong", ha.. the joys of what a 3yr old can come up with.

 

You do very well with talking to someone on the phone, everyone is starting to understand you a little bit better now.

 

You can say a good bit of your numbers from 1-20, you can say a few of your ABC's, you know all your colors, you love to read, color, play with puzzles. Your writing skills are pretty good, we do believe you are definitely left handed, but you play with your right hand.

You love playing outside no matter night or day, you love your dump trucks, four wheeler, tractor, playing ball, you like playing with your little hot wheel cars, monster trucks, and choo-choo trains. Anything with dirt or water you LOVE!

You have come out of that Dora & Diego stage now, you still watch them from time to time but your not obsessed as you once were. You really don't have a favorite right now, but you like to watch, Franklin, Dora, Diego,  Mickey Mouse club House, Chuggington,

Movies: Toy Story, Cars.

You LOVE going to the hunting club with Mommy & Daddy every Saturday. This year is so much better than last because you understand to be quite when we are hunting. What makes it even better is your Uncle Bubba and Miss Beth is a member of our club now and they get to spend most of the day with you while we're hunting. I don't know what we do without hunting!

 

While at daycare some days you bring home good notes from your teachers and some are very bad! You tend to not listen very well and you like to hit or push your friends which is VERY bad!! I really do hope you grow out of this bullying before you go to school, if not we're in trouble!

Your best friend at school is Dominic, you and him are like two pees in a pod! You love it when Darren comes over to our house and play with you. At night you like to cuddle with your puppy Rex.

 

You're a very picky eater lately!! You never want to try anything, instead you sit there and put something on your tongue then pull it off and say "I don't like that". Ugh!

 

You can be very silly some days, you like making silly sounds or do silly dances and tell us to "Look at me Mommy." You love it when we pretend there is a spider crawling up your back in the morning or whenever, you laugh so much then say " do it again", when you get out the bathtub and your naked, you sometimes shake your hinny at us and say "na,na,boo, boo". Ha!

 

You choo gum when I let you, you sit in mommies lap when we pull in the drive way and help mommy drive.

 

These are just a few things that I can think off the top of my head that you've accomplished. I'm sure there are many more things that I've missed but Hunter just know that I truly adore everything that you do! Your sweet silly smile lights up my day! There isn't a day that goes by that I don't Thank God for you. Your Mommy's tootabug and Daddy's buddy. We love you more than anything in this world! We're very proud of you and am looking for many fun years to come.

Is he really 3 today!?!

Just look at how much my baby has grown up over the pass 3 years....

Where has my Baby gone to?!? ..

My son you are 3 today and Mommy just wants to cry because you have grown up so quickly!! All I keep asking myself is where has the time gone?!? These past 3 years have been the best years of my life thus far! I have been so honored and blessed to be called your Mommy! I couldn’t imagine my life without you being apart of it. You are Mommy’s world! &hearts; God created you just for me and I’m so Thankful he did!

You have been so sweet lately with your sweet soft voice always calling Mommy, then unexpectedly you sneak in a little kiss and say I love you Mommy. These are the most precious moments I’ll always cherish in my heart. I’m going to miss all of this once you get older so I’m going to enjoy this next year and cherish every moment we spend together.

Hunter you have accomplished so much in the past year and we are so very proud of you. Your new sayings are “Ma’am, Not uh, I don’t know, but why Mommy, I’m not done yet, Okayyy (with an attitude), “ and so much more but can’t remember all of them. I have to share this about what you said the other night laying in bed, you looked at me and kissed me and said “Thank you for my party.” It was the most unexpected but sweetest thing you’ve ever said to Mommy. You have said a lot of new things lately that are too sweet.
Your favorite things to do these days are play soft ball (your pretty good at it), soccer/football, hunting of course, watch Dora & Diego, puzzles, books, trains, riding your four-wheeler, drawing and writing (with your left hand), playing with your dump trucks in the dirt, jumping in mud puddles with your rain boots, your def. ALL boy!! You haven’t pee’d in a pull up in a long time but you still wont go #2 on potty though, instead you tell me when you have to go then go hide and say don’t watch me. Ha. You are in a 3T-4T, size 9 ½ shoe, weigh around 38 I’m guessing. You always get the most compliments on your beautiful blonde hair, even though its beginning to turn darker on top of your head. You can count to 10, say all your colors. You have accomplished so much my son and we are so proud of our big boy.

Today Mommy sent cupcakes and goody bags to school for all your classmates and teachers. I really hope you enjoy this special day because It only comes once a year. :) I love you so much Hunter and I’m very excited to see what this year has in store for us. I’m pretty sure the 3’s will be worse than the 2’s (I’ve already noticed the back talking, etc) but we will get through this together! You are an AMAZING little boy and I am graciously Thankful for you!!! Keep being strong and never give up baby.

After picking him up from school we headed to Cracker Barrel for his bday dinner. Yum!! We then headed to the house and mommy lit up 3 candles on a cupcakss and sang Happy Birthday! ♥

Dear Hunter

Is is REALLY August already?!? The year has flown by!! I am so EXCITED that it is August!! This is one of my favorite months of the year! This month my baby will be 3…. REALLY?!?!? Hunting season starts August 15th, VERY excited for that and my mom maybe visiting from Texas!!! You see why I look forward to this month each year now? Haha

Dear Hunter, I seriously can’t believe your about to turn 3! Your birthday party is right around the corner and I’m so excited!! I’m sad that my baby is growing up but in a way I’m excited to see what God has planned for our little booger in the future. Life has been so wonderful with a toddler around. Some days a little hectic and stressful but most days, I enjoy EVERY bit of my baby boy. I couldn’t see my life without you Hunter!! In the pass month not much has changed about you. You may have grown an inch taller, gain maybe a lb but still look the same. Ha. I’ve noticed your hair is starting to turn darker in one little spot on top of your head and your hair is starting to lay flatter (thank goodness) than sticking up like a fro. Ha. Mommy and Daddy has raised a well mannered little boy, lately you have said yes ma’am/no ma’am without being told to do so, I’m a VERY proud Mommy! Any time I ask you something, lately you say “Hugh.. then say Ma’am” real quick, I don’t even have to say anything and you just look at me and say “ma’am”. :) Just yesterday you started calling me “Momma” instead of Mommy, I don’t know why but I don’t like it. Ha. I like Mommy better. :) You’ve moved up in your daycare to the 3yr old class. You have been doing well on the potty, been accident FREE at night for the pass 3 months. You still have a few accidents at daycare and at home but you’ll get there. You haven’t yet gone poop on the potty since that first time you ever went. Sigh.. You are GLUED to the TV now days! Your favorite T.V shows to watch are, Dora the Explora, Diego, Back Yard Bardagons, Spongebob, Wonder Pets. >You have been sleeping all through the night for the pass week without getting up, so very proud of you! Everything is “Watch me Mommy” or “Why”. You have a silly since of hummer, always laughing at the least funny things. :) You like to do things yourself. INDEPENDENT! You have become out of your shyness I’ve noticed when around new people. You've been so picky eating lately! All you want is cereal, grits or bread & butter! You still love your trucks with trailers. When starting our nightly prayers you always seem to interrupt me and say “Pray for my (blank)”, so sweet!! Hunter you have become so grown now. I can barely hold you in my arms anymore and it sort of breaks Mommy’s heart. Your such a big boy! Mommy and Daddy loves you so much and we are so very thankful to have you in our lives!! You’ll be 3 in a few weeks and we cannot wait for your birthday party! Your going to have the best one yet! We love you son and am so VERY proud of you and the many accomplishments you’ve made over the past 3 yrs!! Love mommy and Daddy!

It's that time of month again..

Dear Hunter,

& Mommy cannot believe that in less than 2 months you'll be 3! Your growing like a weed son. Wish that we could press a pause button!! My son you are getting so big so fast. You have become such a handsome little boy. You are always willing to give a helping hand no matter what. You're the most polite little boy, every time you hear anyone sneeze you say "say Bless you." Sweet. Your always running your mouth and making conversations. Dora and Diego seems like the hit TV shows you've enjoyed the most lately. You love Nick Jr. Ha. Your friends (stuffed animals) you have been attached to the most are, Rabbit, Bear, and Kitten. You have been really attached lately to your momma, all you want me to do is hold you or snuggle with you, which I don't mind AT ALL! Maybe this is mine & your daddy's fault, but you still haven't learned to count to 10 or know all your colors just yet. Were working on them though. We've noticed you use your left hand a lot more than you right hand, especially with writing, were thinking your going to be a lefty! Lets hope that means you'll be smart! J Some things you like to do; kick up dirt with you clean shoes which mommy doesn't like you doing, playing in the mud, riding your four wheeler, playing ball, you like any kind of truck, shooting your hand held gun with caps that is, your ALL boy that's for sure! You like to read and color mommy pretty pictures. Giving kisses. You love to sing Jesus loves me. Every time you see a church you say Mommy church, we praise God, melts my heart. Really there's not too much you haven't already learned than the last month. Mommy just wants to write you this letter to tell you that I love you! Hunter, Mommy sometimes get aggravated with you because you wont listen or do what we tell you, but deep down you're the best kid ever! I know that you are just a baby boy and still learning new things. We love you so much and am very proud of you!!! I cannot wait for your 3 rd Birthday party, your going to have a BLAST!!! Dear Hunter

Dear Hunter,
My goodness where has the time gone? In less than 3 months my baby
boy will be 3!!! I just cannot believe this! Hunter you have accomplished so
much over the past 2 months. Mommy hasn’t been a good blogger lately, I haven’t
updated about you in 2 months Gulp! Shame on me! I figured I’d better do so now
before I forget.
This maybe a long post so bare with me.
No more pacies for this big boy!!! It’s been a month since you’ve thrown that
ole’ “Pac, Pac” out and we couldn’t be any prouder! How we did it? You were so
obsessed with your pacy that you couldn’t “seem” to live without it. No matter
where you went you had to have it, but Mommy & Daddy had been telling you for a
while now that Pacies were for babies and you were a big boy. You believed us
for a while then come nap time or bed time you had to have it . So I cut a tiny
hole in your pacy, you tried it out but it didn’t seem to work. We suggested
you throw it away since it didn’t work anymore. You refused, the first night.
Instead you decided to try it out one last night. The next night the whole got a
little bigger. You were in your bed with Daddy when you found it and saw that
there was a hole in it. You threw it in the trash can and told Daddy it didn’t
work anymore and “Pac Pac” were for babies. Ever since that night you have been
free of Pacies!!! We did have a ruff time that first week without you having it
because you were mighty cranky, but you haven’t asked for it since. Yay!

Lately you have been talking up a storm and asking a LOT of questions, for
instance you ask us ALL THE TIME, What’s that Mommy/Daddy?, when we tell you,
you say “oh”. Too funny. Then you ask “Why” when we tell you something, and you
then say “oh”. Ha.You crack me up! It’s a constant thing now, you ALWAYS ask
the same thing at least 10 times before moving on to the next. Ha.

Your new thing these past 2 weeks is “Watch me Mommy/Daddy”. You say so many
things now. You’re a complete motor mouth for sure. Sometimes when you get
aggravated when you can’t accomplish something on your own I’ll hear you say
“Grrr, gosh” (funny but I don’t like you using “Gosh” I’ll have to watch what I
say when I get aggravated huh?)

You have also been saying you want to go hunting ALL THE TIME. It’s so funny,
because we never asked you if you want to go Hunting or anything, you just
brought it up all by yourself a few weeks ago that you “wanted to go hunting’”.
Me & your Daddy were both in shock when we heard you say this. Now this is ALL
you talk about. You are always wanting to go hunting. I think your Daddy & I
figured it out why you want to go so bad, when you say you want to go hunt, you
are saying you want to ride your four-wheeler at the club house and hunt. You
have so much fun at the hunting club because you can roam around freely and get
muddy & do all sorts of things that mommy wont get mad at you for. Ha. You are
just beginning son! We cannot wait for you to shoot your first deer/turkey. Your
going to be one amazing lil’ Hunter!!! J

Last week when I picked you up from school you had a WONDERFUL note sent home…
you went on the potty all day & had been accident FREE!! Yay! Mommy & Daddy were
so PROUD of you! All of a sudden last weekend you wanted to go potty every 15
minutes it seemed like. You told us every time you had to go & hardly wet your
pull up at all last week. You’ve been doing very well by holding your bladder at
night & using the potty as soon as you wake up. We still are working on #2 but
for now we’re beyond proud that you have accomplished #1. I think I jinxed you
though, I told Daddy we maybe onto something after you going to the potty 3 days
in a row with hardly any accidents, then that 4th day you didn’t go as often.
Haha. So since this past weekend you didn’t do as well as last weekend, but
we’re trying and that’s all that matters. At least you tell mommy when you have
to go & I’m not so stressed out over this whole potty training thing. You’ll
get there eventually, keep trying buddy.

Every night before night time, we read our bed time story & then pray to God.
Every night I tell you to lets say a prayer, you’ll hold your tiny little hands
together, and you’ll start before Mommy by saying “Dear God” and then you repeat
what I say. It’s the most SWEESTEST thing I’ve ever heard. Your are the most
precious little Angel God has EVER blessed us with yet!! Your Grandma sent you a
bunny rabbit over Easter that sung “Jesus loves me.” Every night you cuddle with
your baby bunny & sing “Jesus loves me” to sleep. Daddy & I are so PROUD to have
you as our son & Thank God everyday for creating you to be ours. We are beyond
blessed to have the chance to raise you up under God’s roof. What would we do
without our father God and Jesus Christ!!!

You have slowed down on throwing those crazy tantrums lately. Thank you God!!!
But that’s just this week, I’m sure by next week it will be a totally different
story. Ha. Amazing how that works.

You don’t like it when Mommy or Daddy helps you, you say “no me do it”. J
You love riding that darn four-wheeler of yours, you can’t get enough of it. You
like to play with your dump trucks outside. Your hobbies consist of soccer,
football, basketball, baseball, anything with a ball really. Ha. We’ve been
spending most of our evenings/weekends outdoors due to the beautiful weather
we’ve had.

Some things you love the most and have become attached to saying/doing… giving
mommy kisses, trucks and choo choo trains, water, bugs, your Daddy (you’ve
become a Daddy’s boy lately, everything is “I want my Daddy,” Wayne you better
look out, I believe you have your side kick in store for you this hunting season
& such :) ) you can’t get enough of your Nanny ( I wonder why, maybe because she
buys you EVERYTHING you want & lets you get by with EVERYTHING) ha, your spoiled
ROTTEN!!!. You love to eat, (can’t ya’ll tell), you love your cousins Darren,
Melina, & Miranda, you have been very clingy to your Uncle Bubby (Charles) , you
also have been saying Papa a LOT, (even though we don’t see him as often as we’d
like you’ve become attached ;) ) you love your other Uncle Bubba (Jamie), and of
course everyone else I didn’t mention. He just likes to mention these people the
most for some reason. Haha. :)


When you get hurt you still cry out for your Mamma 1st! (that will NEVER change)
:)

You show me your boo boo’s and want me to kiss them or cries out for band aid.
Every morning on the way to school you see the moon & points out that God put
that there. Precious.

I could go on and on about you Hunter and all the precious things you can do and
say now but there are oh so many!! Hunter just know that no matter what happens
through out life you will always have your Mommy & Daddy to rely on but most
importantly you will ALWAYS have the good Lord above. You may not understand
these letters & post I right about you now, but I hope you get the chance to
read them one day and share them with your family. Life is so precious, in the
blank of an eye your life can change and time flies by, this is why I LOVE to
document all the grateful things you do. You are the greatest most precious
sweetest blessing that has EVER happened to me & your Daddy !! (yes I’ve said
this time & time again but It’s the truth). Hunter you are our everyday
laughter, the sunshine in our hearts, the smile when we are feeling down, you
are our EVERYTHING!!! We love you so dearly son and Thank you for being apart of
our life. God created a wonderful gift when he sent you to us, I couldn’t have
asked for a more powerful awesome wonderful God!! Thank you Lord!

Dear Hunter

Son, It's that time of month again... You have exactly 5 months before you turn 3. So
crazy! Just look at how big you are getting Hunter. I was just telling your
Daddy you are no longer a baby anymore.. your a big boy and It breaks my heart.
Your learning so many new things It's almost impossible to write about all of
it. You are talking like crazy lately and putting so many new sentences
together. Your such a huge helper around the house. Everything is "Me" lately,
you are Mr. Independent that's for sure. Your new thing is when you hear
something you say "What's that Mommy." Your always wanting to know what's going
on. You've been brushing your teeth so well now "by yourself." You can pull your
pants and pull up down and up with out any help. You no longer go to bed at 7:30
thanks to the time change... you lay in bed for a few seconds around 8:30 then
decide you need to turn the light on and play. You do this about 5 times before
falling asleep. It drives me INSANE but I still love ya. :) Your definitely a BIG
boy now!!! Your so sweet and loving. ♥
Hunter you are such a blessing to have in our lives and I'm so Thankful God chose
you to be my one and only. Your an incredible smart little man and Mommy & Daddy
couldn't be any prouder.

Dear Hunter

Today Hunter is 2 1/2 years old. Just in 6 months we'll be celebrating his 3rd Birthday in August. Gulp, did I just say that correctly?!? Really 3?!?

My goodness time needs to slow down!!

Dear Hunter,

Six months from today you will be 3 and I am not looking forward to it. Hunter you are growing on me like crazy. I feel like the time just passes by like nothing. In a blank of an eye you are already turning a year older. My son you have come a long way and yet have so many years ahead of you. You have become a big helper around the house lately. Loves taking the trash out with Daddy. Your ALWAYS wanting to do things by yourself. You get mad if I try to help you, you say "No mommy, Me" :) Your such a big boy. You have just learned to pull your own pull-up and pants down by yourself. You go on the potty pretty regularly, sometimes we have to beg you to Please go but most times your good at it. You do VERY well at daycare pottying and they have become a HUGE help. You still haven't learned to "Poo" on potty yet but you let us know when you have to go. Hopefully you'll try it on the potty one day. Ha. You LOVE anything to do with trucks, fire trucks, water, choo-choo train. EVERY time we are riding in the car you have to point out EVERY little detail, for instants..

Hunter: "Mommy there's water in the ditch," or "Mommy there's choo-choo train,"

Mommy: "oh really Hun, that's neat"

Hunter: "uh huh"

Then you repeat everything you just said 10+ times. Ha, you are in the repeating stage and sometimes Mommy just wants to scream, but I'm patient with ya. Your hair has gone crazy on us, it wont style or do anything, just curls up into a little fro.Funny, guess we'll have to just keep cutting it short. Your vocabulary is getting better by the day. You can say a huge amount of sentences now, most times we can understand you, other times we struggle trying to figure out what your saying. You like to talk on the phone. Your obsessed with Thomas the train. You like to play with all of your trucks, ball (GREAT ball kicker), dance, play hide & seek, play with your train set, riding your four-wheeler. Speaking of four-wheeler, you do an AMAZING job riding that thing. You love riding in all the ditches, threw the mud holes, and you like to run people over sometimes then laugh, haha, which isn't nice. Your so funny, one night I came to put you in our bed because you wouldn't go back to sleep. I had to go back in your room to get bear, came back and you were all up on my side of the bed, then said "Ha ha Mommy." Your such a silly boy. A few times you have said " I love you guys" speaking to your Daddy & me. I suppose you picked that up from your teachers at Daycare. Ha, Funny. You are very interested in books these days, and actually "listens" when we read them to you instead of running your mouth the whole time. :) I've noticed you have a close friend at school named Dominic. Every time I come to pick you up you are ALWAYS hanging out with him, so cute to see you guys play with each other. You seem to be the popular guy around daycare, everyone knows you by name. You love cuddling with Daddy, you two have become closer in bondage as you've gotten older. ♥

Hunter there are so many things you have accomplished just within the past few months, so many that I can't even name them all, but we are so VERY proud of you son. My life would be empty if I didn't have you in it. You make our world complete just with you being here and I wouldn't have it any other way. I know I say this ALL the time, but son, God has truly BLESSED us beyond measures and we cannot think him enough.

We LOVE you baby boy with all our HEARTS!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday HUNTER!!!!!

Two years ago today, God blessed Wayne & I with the most precious gift he could have ever blessed us with, the gift of LOVE from a beautiful baby boy & I cannot thank him enough!!!


My Dear son Hunter,
Today is your 2nd Birthday! I cannot believe 2 years have come & gone just like that! It amazes me how fast you have grown up just within this year. Mommy can barely hold you in my arms anymore, breaks my heart. You have brought so much joy into our lives & we couldn’t imagine life without you!. You are the most precious thing that has every happened to me & your daddy. You have made mommy & daddy so very proud of you. You are learning so many new words & putting all kinds of sentences together. You love to play trucks, read books, color, paint, etc. Everything we ask you lately you say “no” & “that’s mine”. Your in a 2T-3T now, size 7 ½ shoe. You can count to 2. Your smile lights up the world. You bow your hands at the dinner table when we say grace & say Amen, so sweet. You say cheese every time you see my camera. You are a Daddy’s boy without a doubt but a Mommy’s boy when you need me for comfort. Hunter, there are so many things you have accomplished over the past year & words cannot express how wonderful this year has been with you. Here are a few photos I’ve taken of you over the past year. Can’t believe how much you have changed.
