This is what you get when...

You purchase from Etsy...

An ADORABLE little boy wearing the most PRECIOUS Tee Shirts!!!

(sorry the pictures so blurry)

A few weeks ago I told ya'll I made my first purchase off of Etsy... I got my order in last week and I was soo HAPPY with my purchase because it made a wonderful Easter gift for Hunter.

Check out what I came up wiith...

With a few minutes of my time ironing these appliques onto four brand new tees I bought and a little bit of stitch along the sides , they turned out great and made for a great gift for my little guy.

I put a camouflage tie on the orange tee shirt, Easter tie on teal shirt, Hunter's name in camouflage on brown Tee and a cute Blue polka dot Easter egg on a green tee with his initial.

I just LOVE the way they turned out.

~

Thank you for those of you who made a comment on my last post. I feel much better today. Your encouraging words helped out bunches. ♥

~

I am excited about the weekend.. cannot believe It's already here again, seriously time is flying by!

Hunter has a Easter egg hunt to go to tomorrow for our church, we're pretty excited about that. I love having my Friday's off so I can attend events like this one. :) We'll be getting Hunter's Easter basket & gifts this weekend too, can't wait. He also might be spending his first night sleeping away from Mommy & Daddy at his cousins house.. kinda nervous about that but we shall see. Ya'll pray for the little booger. =)

Zoo Trip

We had a really fun weekend with BEAUTIFUL weather.
Saturday was the Charleston Air Show, we didn't go because It's always crowded but we were in Charleston to pick up a part for my car, and while at the Northern Tool we sat outside on the tractors and watched some of the airplanes. Hunter was so tickled he loved watching them. We said maybe next year we'll take him when he's a little older.

Rocking Mommy's sunshades because the sun was too bright for him to look up in the sky. :)

Sunday Wayne & I took Hunter to the Columbia Riverbank Zoo. He hasn't been since he was a few months old so we figured now would be a good time to take him again. He really enjoyed seeing all the animals but most of all he was more interested in the choo choo train, the "hay hay" (horsey), and water. He started to get a a little fussy towards the end of our zoo trip and wasn't a good listener. Made Mommy & Daddy get a little frustrated but over all we had a good time. A few photos from the Zoo.
(Excuse the picture overload)

He loved the choo choo train the most I think, he had to ride it twice.
his first horse ride... as he calls it Hay hay. Ha.

(don't ask me what that pose is all about)

Our only family picture together and we waited til the end of the day... not so good. Take a good look at how mean our son looked. He wasn't very happy & was ready for a nap.

Hot Date Night with the Hubby...

It felt like we were dating all over again...

I'll never forget our mini get away from this past weekend. Wayne & I had the most fun we've had in a long time celebrating our 3 year Anniversary. It started off Friday night when we arrived to our Hotel in Mt. Pleasant., checked into the room around 5 and unpacked most of our things. Then we were starving so we went to the restaurant... California Dreaming in James Island. It was the most romantic night eating dinner with my love. We were seated right next to the beautiful water. After an hour & lots of $ spent later, we headed down town Charleston to walk around. We spent most of the night caught up in each others conversation relaxing at the Market St. Saloon.

We had a blast & I loved every minute of it!!!

(just a few pics of the two of us, Ha)

I absolutely LOVE this last pic of us & my hair looked AMAZING. Ha!

Saturday morning we got to sleep in.... YES,Finally. =)

We lounged around most of the morning until check out time @ 11. Before headed home we walked the new Aurthur Ravenel Bridge in Mt. Pleasant for the first time. It was a lot of fun & very windy. Ha. But it was extremely nice looking out into the water & seeing all those boats. Made me want to go fishing. :D

Couple of photos I took...

You see how windy it was by my hair, right?

Of course we couldn't let one minute go by and not think of our little Tootabugs. We were thinking of all the things he would have said a million times while on the bridge and Wayne & I would say things like "tractor daddy" to each other every time we saw something that reminded us of hi. We missed him while gone for the night but boy it sure was relaxing for the time being. Besides, we new he was having a blast anyways while his cousins had a sleep over with him for the first time and he could probably care less whether we were there or not. Ha! Thanks to Nanny & G-daddy for watching him for us, or shall I say Thanks Melina. =) We are so blessed to have them in our lives.

After walking the bridge, we went out to eat for lunch then went into Tuesday Morning (like a consignment store) and bought Hunter a few things. We couldn't resist not bringing him home something. Guess It's one of those things about being an only child & spoiling him to death every time u walk into the store. =)

Felt good to be home, I guess. Haha. Took a nap that evening along with little man, then played outside for the evening.

Sunday we went to church then did a WHOLE LOT OF NOTHING! Just my kind of Sunday.

Weekend Recap

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

We had yet, another GORGEOUS weekend. The weather was PERFECT, low 80's. Loving it!

Saturday morning we went to the hunting club for our yearly club house meeting. Daddy worked around the club while tootabugs & I played ball and got muddy playing in the water.

(when I ask to take a picture, this is what I get, Ha)

(he's such a Country boy, gotta love that Dixie shirt)

That evening we all went out to Cracker Barrel for dinner "yum" with some of Wayne's family.

Our family photo I had to beg Wayne to PLEASE take.

(he HATES taking pictures)

Wayne's cousin just gave birth to a precious baby girl last month and we go to spoil her. Wayne didn't want to hold her, but we had to pressure him in to doing so. It felt so weird holding a new born all over again. Little miss Emily was super sweet.

Hunter & his other G.G

Sunday morning Hunter had thrown up twice @ 4a.m & wasn't feeling very well so we stayed home from church. I have no clue what was wrong with my child, but after he threw up he was completely fine, no fevers or nothing. Thought it may have been something he ate.

We stayed most of our Sunday outside because it was too beautiful to be lounging around inside all day.

That sums up our weekend.

Have a wonderful week ladies!!!

PS: I couldn't keep up with my 30 day photo challenge. Haha. So I'll try that again for some other time or maybe Facebook :)

Beatiful Spring like Weekend

What we did over the weekend...
First I want to say my baby boy & I are just getting over the flu from last week. Just the typical fever flu that everyone has had in the past month. We're feeling much better now though! =)
We've had BEAUTIFUL weather here for the past few days & we are LOVING IT.
Friday I kept little man home with me & we ran a few errands, did some cleaning, then when Wayne came home around lunch time from work we drove around looking for some land people had up for sale. We both decided to start saving all we got & try purchasing a piece of land, maybe 2 -4 acres. We came across a few that were very good deals. We are hoping & praying we can find one soon. It was pretty exciting looking for land we maybe able to live on one day. I cannot wait! Ha.
Saturday Hunter decided it was time to get up supper EARLY, like 6 o'clock early, so we got up out of bed and ate breakfast. Then we headed outside around 7 & played outside most of the morning. Hunter got to help Daddy work on his trailer. He loves to help! =)

We played outside until it was nap time. During Hunter's nap, I got to lay out in my lounge chair under the sun. It definitely wasn't warm enough to where any bathing suite but I read my "turkey Hunting" book (ha yeah I'm a country girl alright) and just relaxed. Got a little bit of sun on my legs & arms. Yay! ;) After H's nap we went to visit with Granny & we let Hunter ride his four-wheeler for a little while their. Granny was really impressed for him to be so good at driving his 4-wheeler & he's not even 3 yet. We gotta train him early. Ha!. It was a Fun day over all!

You see what I was wearing over the weekend.. pulled out my tank top & Rainbow flip-flops... In Heaven! ♥

Sunday we went to church & relaxed all day. It was the first day of NASCAR race so we had to watch it. It was a pretty normal weekend.. Again! Ha!

My Valentine Hunk..

Thought I'd share Hunter's Valentines card I'll be passing out to everyone this weekend...

Something not too fancy but simple enough. :)
This pass weekend was a busy one for me...
Thursday my MIL & I joined a gym together which is right up the road from where I work & can stop by right after I get off. I'm so excited for working out at the gym again, hopefully it will tone up a lot of body fat I've been storing away lately. Ha!
Friday was my first day @ the gym & they have free tanning which makes it even more worth joining, had an awesome workout. Went shopping for Valentines gift & such all day. Fun, fun. Saturday I went back the mall (which is where my gym is at) and did lots more shopping with my MIL, SIL & her kidos. Lets just say I did a LOT of walking this passed weekend & got a lot of great deals! =)
Sadly I must be a bad momma because I didn't take any pictures again for the second weekend in a row, (besides what little pics I took on my cell phone).. I've been trying to cut back on taking so many photos this year because I had about a billion prints I had to print out the year of 2009-10 that was ridiculous. I guess when I take pictures of my baby boy I'll have to choose the best one's & not print out so many. Ha.
Sunday I woke up exhausted, but went to church anyways & taught my Sunday school class. Afterwards I took Hunter to get his haircut which my poor babe was in desperate need of a cut. We then came home to nap right after. Yes I skipped church because I was sleepy, shame on me. :/ After about a 3 hr nap on a BEAUTIFUL Sunday that we waisted, we played outside for a little while with tootabugs then went grocery shopping before the big Super Bowl game.
I was pulling for the Steelers but my hubby was pulling for Greenbay.. man I'm kinda glad in away Greenbay won because I'd have a sleeping with a mean grumpy man If they didn't win. Men & their football games, they take it SO serious! Really??
Hope you all have a great week!!

Quiet Week

I'm still alive in case anyone is wondering what happen to me.

I really don't have anything to blog about even though It's been almost 2 weeks since I've blogged last. Strange. Just one of those weeks where I'm more into Facebook than blogging. Ha. You ladies know what I mean I'm sure.
My hubby and I got to file our taxes this past weekend, so happy with the outcome! Looking forward to new tires and paying a few bills off. Hunter got a little cold over the weekend but he's doing much better now. It was a lazy weekend once again with not much going on.
I'm happy to state that it is actually 76' here in this sunshine state of South Carolina today!!! Wishing this would last forever, I'm so ready for Spring!!!
I didn't take any pictures over the weekend surprisingly, but I do have this...

My sweet little angel. :)
Hope you all are having a great week!!

Expressions of a 2 year old ♥

It's obvious that Mommy tries to take professional photos....
even though I don't have the first clue to becoming a photographer, I thought these were
A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E
and I couldn't resist posting about my silly tootabugs!

can you guess what he had for lunch?

saved the best for last

Hunter's expressions these days cracks me up & I just love taking pictures of my beautiful baby boy.
God has TRULY blessed Wayne & I that's for sure!

~ Weekend in Review ~
Friday I cleaned the house, and spent hours cleaning out my filthy car & washing it. (It was beginning to look like a pig sty foreal)
Saturday we went to my Granny's and visited all day. Ate some yummy homemade vegetable soup, corn bread, & pork chops... just my kinda dinner on a cold winter day! Gotta love Granny's cookin, Ha! Hunter got to ride his four wheeler with Bubba (Uncle Jamie), he was in heaven over that. :)
Sunday morning we went to church, came home and the boys (hubby & son) napped while I went for a walk & exercised. Felt wonderful to not go home and actually be lazy but workout for a change. My new goal is to go for a walk at least every day or every other, gotta lose this fat off thighs, butt, tummy before Summer!! =) That evening we just lounged and watched some NFL football. It was just one of those laid back weekends.
Hope you wonderful ladies have a great week!
