Wow where does the time go anymore.......
My baby boy just turned 2 months old on Friday, that is just so crazy. He is getting so big now & the more he grows the cuter he gets! Hunter just jibber jabbers away now, & he loves trying to talk to ya. This past Thursday night I was so shocked at how well he slept through the night. I layed Hunter down for bed at 8:00 pm that night & didn't get back up until 7 o'clock the next morning. I had to get up once during the night to make sure he was OK. I was so proud of Hunter that morning & just couldn't believe he let mommy sleep that long,lol. Well ever since that night,Hunter has been on a daily schedule, in bed at 8 or 8:30 & awake at 6 or 7. I am so proud of him for sleeping through the night!
OK so my baby boy is starting to make mommy proud. For the past two nights my little man has been sleeping peacefully through out the night. That is so awesome because mommy is starting to get a little bit more rest at night now. He went down to bed Monday night at 7:30 & didn't wake up until 3:30 the next morning, & then Tuesday night, went down at 8 & woke up at 4! So that's a total of 8 hours per night! Good Eh, for a 2 month old!Way to go my little booger! Keep it up son, mommies proud of you!
Oh & let me tell you, Well for the past two evenings, Hunter has been fussy,crying & pouting for no apparent reason. Its so sad because I hold him in my arms & try to sooth him but he still has this pouting little face on him. I was starting to get teary eyed just by looking at him. I hope its just one of those fazes that babies go through, & I hope it doesn't get worse. We'll see how it goes tonight.
Oh & let me tell you what else my little boogers been doing. Wayne tried putting him down for bed Sunday night & that didn't go so well. Hunter acted like he was hungry because he kept on chewing on his fist, (and yes he tries eating his whole fist l.o.l) well when daddy gave him the bottle Hunter just would not drink it. Instead he sucks on the nipple, laughs he,he, then "Ahhgoo", then smiles & does it again.... Well of course daddy is getting a little aggravated, so he sets him down in his bouncy chair. Hunter finally just falls asleep.Well the same thing happened through out that night. Mommy went into his room & started to feed him & he wouldn't drink his formula, he'd just let the nipple sit in his mouth & then suck on it. Then he just laughs, smiles & coo's away. I said, "Hunter this is not funny,mommies tired," "Ahhgoo,he,he", mind you I'm getting a little aggravated, but I couldn't help but laugh at him. So about an hour later I finally gave up & set him in his crib, I see him smile again & "ahhgoo". Too cute, but I went to sleep & I guess he did too because he didn't wake up until daddy got him out of his crib to go to Aunt Tammy's.
What a crazy night that was.
Maybe he's going through that faze where mommy & daddy are going to have to let him cry it out at night. I think I'm going to hate that but I guess its got to be done or else we'll never get any rest.
OH my Hunter, *JUST LOOK AT THOSE CHUNKIE LEGS*. Boy I think you better stop eating so much! l.o.l

Where did the time go.......
The six weeks that mommy had time off with Hunter were very enjoyable. I got to learn new things about him everyday as he grew.
Well as time went by, Mommy had to leave her preciouse boy and head back to work, and let me tell ya, It wasn't easy! I was heart broken at first but then realized when I got to work it felt kinda good to be back. I new that Hunter was in good hands because Tammy was going to take good care of him for us.
So Wayne & I are officially *Mommy & Daddy* now! Life just couldn't get any better than experiencing parent hood! I'm going to inform you on our lives since Hunter arrived home. He came home on Tuesday the 26th in his camouflage outfit with his orange Clemson hat (I guess he thought he was going Hunting or something like that:) When we first arrived home; Nanny & Granddaddy greeted us in. Boy did it feel good to be home! We got all our things settled in the house & Hunter saw his room for the first time. We took plenty of pictures of Hunter's homecoming. The first couple of days were a little hectic, Wayne & I had to really get adjusted with having a new baby in the house, & Shadow *our other son*, didn't know what to think, it took him a while to get used to Hunter too. But Thank God for Aunt Tammy, she helped us out a GREAT bit the first few weeks! After learning a few things from Tammy it took us no time to get used to "The Parent Life",we became pro's at it in no time!Like they say; "It just comes natural!"
Hello to everyone. We are excited to be here & show everyone what God create
d for our family! Wayne & I met June of 2007, & fell head over hills in love with each other. We dated for a little while then decided to get married on March 2nd 2008, then oops, realized we had a bun in the oven,lol. We were very excited to announce to everyone that we were expecting a baby boy in August. Wayne & I were soon on our way to become parents for the first time,yikes :)! But we managed to work things out; Hunter Isaiah Lawhon was born on Sunday August 24th,2008 at 7:27 p.m at Trident Hospital of Charleston,S.C.. He weighed a *BIG* whopping of 9lbs. 12 oz & was 20 1/2 in. long, we were definitley not expecting that,lol. He had a full head of blond hair & blue eyes. We couldn't have Thanked God enough for what precious miracle he created for us! Hunter is special to our hearts and we can't wait to share him with family and friends!
