Bless His little Heart ..

Over the weekend we went to visit with my Granny then road four wheelers around my Dad's place. It was so HOT outside that Saturday but this was something tootabugs wanted to do. Of course he didn't take his nap that day, and so this was the out come of our fun four wheeler trip......

Bless his little heart, he fell a sleep right in his Daddy's arms while almost back to my Granny's house. I knew he wouldn't hold up for long once he started closing his eyes & nodding his head down & up. Ha. It was the most precious thing I've ever seen & felt sorry for my little guy.

~

My baby got his pictures back from his daycare last week! I'm so impressed on how wlll they turned out. My baby looks like a little boy... not so much a baby anymore! To be honest I thought he looked to be 5 in this picture instead of almost 3!!!

Such a handsome little fella! :)

Relaxing Weekend

Thank you all for your sweet comments from the last post!!! I really appreciate your feed back & the great advice! The past is past, done & I'm moving on! :)

Here's what we did over the weekend. Friday my husband & I took the four-wheeler out for a ride all day along with my SIL & her hubby. It was so HOT but we had a good time. By the end of the day I was soo ready to get home. This heat is so miserable!

How ya like my braids? lol thought it was something cute & different for me. ;)

On the way home from riding all day, Wayne & I drove home with this bad boy...

a used 2004 Ford F150! Didn't cost us a dime to put down & payments are way cheap. We need a family truck very BADLY! The Ford truck Wayne had before drink way too much gas & the ac kept going in & out so we said we'd try selling it or using it to hunt out of. I'm so happy we got this. :)
Saturday I cleaned house all morning & just hung around the house for most of the day. Hunter wanted to be lazy and sleep for 3 hours. I had to wake him up so we could head over to my Granny's house for dinner. She cooked a wonderful meal as always & got to spend time with her Great-grand baby.

Sunday we went to church. I signed up to teach the 2 year old Sunday School class for this upcoming year. I'm so excited about it. I taught my first year ever w/ my SIL the year before last & loved it but wanted to try a Sunday school for myself. But now I'm going to teach again with Tammy & cannot wait! Hunter maybe in our class too, that should be really interesting. Ha. :) Most of the day we lounged around again. I wasn't very productive over the weekend but enjoyed the relaxation.

I forgot to post this picture of my babies school picture last week. Ya'll my baby is getting so big & it sure does show in these pictures. Sigh... can't believe how fast he has grown. Hope you all have a wonderful week.

W.W~ Trying to attempt a stunt but failed

He was trying to be like his daddy & drive his atv in the ditch but it got out of control & made him crash. Mommy laughed while baby boy cried. Haha (It was cute though) :)

I have a question. I heard a lot of great things about the new Toy Story 3 & was thinking about taking Hunter to his first movie but a little nervous at the thought of taking a toddler in a movie theater. Any suggestions? Thanks

Memorial Weekend

Oh what a long weekend but not long enough....here's what we did
Friday I picked up Hunter early from daycare, I was a bit sad to leave knowing he wouldn’t return here anymore. I was surprised to see his teachers left a gift for us inside his cubby hole.. It was so sweet of them to give us this, a sweet card, two reading books, a coloring book, & crayons . We sure will miss them & thank them for all they have done.
I took Hunter to meet his new daycare afterwards, he seemed to like it even though he was a bit shy at first. Saturday Wayne & I went to my dad’s hunting club and road the four-wheeler all evening. We had lots of fun and got all muddy, love it. Sunday we went to church. After I took Hunter to the park, he seemed to have enjoyed himself, then we came home & got in his pool for the evening. Memorial day the weather wasn’t perfect but Tammy & I managed to take the kids to the beach for a couple of hours. This was Hunter’s 2nd time at the beach, he loved it so much. He didn’t mind at all if that nasty salt water got in his face either. He kept on wanting to run into the waves in the deep part. Crazy child. After the Beach we headed home and took a 3 hr nap. My baby fell asleep on my chest in our bed (which is VERY random that we do this), it felt quite pleasant. I’ll sure miss these moments. That evening we had family come over for a Mexican fieasta dinner. My brother Jamie came home from Texas for “GOOD” & he came to visit with us as well.

(pictures to sum up our weekend ) :)

This morning Hunter started his new daycare. As we pulled up and waited for the doors to open I had a small talk with him telling him how he would be starting a new school and such. I asked him if he was going to be a big boy & be good, he shook his head yes & said “yes”. So sweet. He spotted the playground immediately and got excited, but I simply told him he could play out their later. He got a little fussy for a second after I told him that but was fine as we walked up to the main door.
I was so nervous for him. I was afraid he would latch onto me & cry when I dropped him off, but that didn’t happen. Instead we walked into his class room together, he met his teacher for a quick second & ran off to the rocking horse. (he had one at St. Luke’s that he loved to ride). As he was playing I was talking with his teacher about him & all the stuff I brought. As I was headed out the door he looked at me & I waved to him & told him I loved him & goodbye.. (I wanted to get out of there as quick as I could so he wouldn’t latch on) He kind of gave me a look to why I was leaving him their. :/
I called twice today and he seemed to have had a good day so far. I will post tomorrow about how his day went. I cannot wait to pick him up & here all about it.

Hope everyone has a short/good work week!

Such a Beautiful Weekend

This weekend went by way too fast but I guess they all do anymore.
Friday was my shopping day for Mother's Day, didn't get a whole lot accomplished but had fun just being by myself. I picked up Hunter early from daycare, got home and played in the yard for a little while. Daddy came home with a surprise for Hunter..... a new four-wheeler. You should have seen the smile on his face when he saw it, he ran strait to it.
Saturday morning my husband and I spent half the day in the woods for the last day of Turkey hunting. Got eaten by a million mosquito's & didn't see anything. Fun.....NOT! Later we went home & all played in the yard.

Sunday we went to church, had a wonderful service. Check out Hunter after taking a nap once we got home from church, I told him to smile & say cheese and this is what I got. Ha!

After we ate lunch we went outside for the rest of the evening and played in his mini pool while mommy got some sun.

He had fun in his pool, hopefully we'll get him a bigger one some day. Then we cut the grass & road around on the four wheeler for the majority of the evening. The weather was just perfect. Can't wait to take this little man to the beach soon & take him for a ride on the four wheeler at the hunting club!
Hope you all have a great week!

Haircut~Weekend Ramble

I feel much better today than yesterday, thanks for the comments. ♥

I took Hunter for his 2nd haircut on Friday. He sure did need one, even though I am missing his long hair already.
before

during

after

(not a good pic but can tell he got it cut)

In some places I noticed the barber gaped his hair up a little bit (he would not keep still). I was a little disappointed on how the back turned out. I really wanted the top to be short and the back to be kinda long and have his cute curls grow out. I told her to trim the bottom of his neck, but she cut all the curls off and shaved his neck. At least I know that his hair will grow back and that's all that matters.

We didn't do a whole lot this weekend. We were suppose to go gator hunting but those plans got crushed. Instead we lounged around the house, napped a lot, then shopped around for some new hunting gear at Dick's Sporting Goods, went to church on Sunday, then visited with Granny.

Hunter's nanny bought him some cute new jammies for Halloween and I thought they were the cutest ever. Check out his socks. Ha! I have been teaching him to brush his teeth at night and he has been doing a great job. See.....

Ain't he cute?!? :D

Sunday while at my granny's house H got to ride the four wheeler with his Papa. He sure did love that, he didn't want to get off. He learned how to turn the key on and push the button to crank it up.I was glad to see my granny. Poor granny fell last Monday on her front concrete porch. She was standing in a chair trying to hang a clock up, then when she went to get down, she said her foot act like it stuck to the chair, and she fell hit her bottom and head on the porch. Luckily there was no blood and her neighbor was outside. She did have a big not on her head and bruises but she is a lot better now. I hope she learns to ask someone next time. Hehe, I love ya granny!

--------

I am so excited for this upcoming month, it's a busy one I tell ya. This weekend we will definitely be gator hunting, hoping to get a big one!!! We haven't been deer hunting in a while, simply because it's beginning to get darker earlier during the week (so I can't go after work), and my husbands tree stand got stolen (stupid trust passers). But we have planned for another hunt on that plantation I had written about before, I can't wait. Then we have a Halloween Extravaganza to go to, lots of scary hay rides, haunted house, etc., then of course Hunter will be all dressed up in his cute costume and we'll take him trick-or-treating. We bought one for him 2 weeks ago but I wont say what he'll be until after Halloween! :D Wayne & I have also finally, thought about buying a home for us. We haven't gotten into details yet if we can even approve of getting a home, but I'm just soooo tickled to know that my husband is finally taking a second step and realizing we need our own home. But for now we will pray on it! Ya'll have a wonderful day.
