January- May 2014

2014 started off a rough year for Wayne's family, we lost a very good hearted woman on February 14th! Wayne's Granny went home to be with Jesus. She lived a long healthy life raising 5 children, and lots of Grandchildren and Great grand babies. She will never always think of her and cherish the house she left behind for us. God had bigger and great plans and he new what he was doing when he took her home!
Love and Miss you  Mrs. Callahan!!!!

We moved out of our apartment and into Granny's home she left behind in March. It was such a huge blessing to us and we are so grateful for our new home!! We've done LOTS of remodeling on the inside and out, here is a picture of the new shingles that were put on. We love living here and couldnt' be anymore grateful!!

Some little boy got a visit from the tooth fairy because he lost his first baby tooth!!! :)
He was sooo excited. When his tooth was lose, that's all he'd talk about, drove me nuts and wouldn't keep his fingers out of his mouth! Crazy kid! He got $5 from the tooth fairy! Lucky him. ha
He also lost his 2nd tooth at school a few weeks after his first one came out right next to it.

We brought Tiger home to live with us after him being at my MIL's house for a few months, we couldn't keep him in the apartment, but now he's an outdoor and indoor kitty.
He's been wonderful to have back home!! We love Tiger!

Changes

Over the weekend we decided to get out the house for a while and head to Cypress Gardens. It was one of those last minute things where I wanted to just get out the house and get away for a while! Hunter got to enjoy all kinds of nature that day, he saw lots of snakes, fish, alligators. He got to hold a snake (ew), and ride in a boat for the very first time! He loved it but then kind of got bored quickly, I guess the tour guide just wasn't' moving fast enough for him. Ha! We enjoyed a nice family day and the weather was gorgeous!
We've also had a few changes that's been going on with Hunter adjusting to a new daycare/school. Last week I was at my breaking point with him! It seemed like every time I picked my child up from daycare, everyday, he had a bad note! He got ANOTHER probation note last week, stating he was not allowed to return to school that Friday or Monday when, they didn't even have a meeting with us! What kind of crap is that?!?!I know that he misbehaving at home sometimes, but NOT EVERYDAY!! I realize that he's had a few other buddies at school that he has learned to follow and act up whenever they did and It's caused him to get into trouble. I was at the point where I couldn't handle Hunter coming home and acting the way he was. I came to the conclusion in my mind that something had to change!! I prayed about the situation and both my husband and I agreed that we needed to maybe find Hunter another school. I felt like the daycare he was in, didn't have enough activities for him to keep occupied during the day and he got bored quickly so that was why he was misbehaving. I also felt like it was either my child had to leave or the other child because the teachers got to the point where they couldn't even handle the two children being together. I am so Thankful God answered our prayers and we made a switch in picking a different school for him!! He is at a much better school that does so many things differently that the crappy school he was at! My baby started Monday and I can already see a difference in him. He stays busy all day long with different activities, works puzzles, blocks, read books, have a HUGE playground with NO wood-chips or sand, (thank God). His teachers and staff are so friendly and always great you with a warm welcome (un-like his other daycare), we are just so thrilled about this new school. It's a christian base school which helps tremendously!! They say there prayers before they eat, HUGE PLUS! They go on different field trips through out the year, ride small buses to and from there field trip (Hunter is excited about riding those soon :)). This week they are having spirit week, each day they do something different, for instance Monday was silly hat day, Tuesday is parade day (they wear a certain color and march down the street to the YMCA with a cop on watch), Wed. is family breakfast day, Thursday night they are having a cookout for the family along with games, and Friday is Beach day. I know that Hunter will enjoy this school soooo much better than the other one!! This school he's in, is not only just a daycare for children, but It's a school that he can graduate from Kindergarten to 1st grade, and they have after school programs for children 1 and up to 10. This was one of the best decisions we have ever made. We are just praying that Hunter will straiten up his behavior at home as well as at school. He had a good day yesterday, the teacher had to warn him about pushing, but other than that she said he had a good day. It's a slow adjustment but I'm sure we'll get there one day at a time! Please pray for us! :) ** My beautiful niece went to her first prom.. so gorgeous, had to show her off! ;)
