Just an ordinary Weekend, or was it?

Another weekend has come and gone.
Thursday night the hubby and I went out for a Banquet dinner put on by his job. We had lots of great free food, and we had a blast!
Friday evening I went hunting at my Daddy's house, killed me a baby cow horn, thought it was a doe, I felt guilty for killing this young buck, but hey it happens! I got meat in the freezer and Hunter was there to experience the kill with me! ;)
Saturday we stayed at the club ALL day hunting...
Hunter said "Hold on George", love his cute face!!
Sunday morning ended up being a good day, I didn't go to church because Hunter was a little sick and I had sooo much to get done before 12 that day, anyways I got some bad news that evening. I got a phone call from my brother's girlfriend stating he was in the hospital. We almost could have lost my brother that day if my Grandmother hadn't of checked on him that day. He hurt himself at work last week, thought he bruised his ribs, Granny found him halfway breathing in bed, lying down, almost gone.. She rushed him to the ER, they found out he had fluid in between his lungs and rib cage, a collapsed lung and on top of it all phenomia. :( He got lots of medicine to treat all of this and is home resting it out. He's getting better by the day. God had his hands on him! I don't know what I'd do if I lost my bubba. Life is so short, you just never know when something like this could happen. I'm thankful that my Granny checked on him when she did!!
Monday I worked 3 hrs then was called to pick my child up. Daycare closed for the WEEK!! Yes, you read that right. They had a busted water pipe in the school and closed the facility down for the week with a back up daycare and/or I could take a vacation week. Ugh, well I wasn't about to let my child go to some other school he nor I have ever been in, so thankfully I had my friend Jennifer keep him for the next 3 days! She's been a life savor!!
Hunter and I went to the park that day and played a little hunting. Ha! :)
Just another crazy, scary, stressful weekend but I'm so Thankful for all these things!!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

We celebrated Wayne's 33rd Birthday over the weekend!! His Birthday was Friday and he finally had a Friday off from work so we went Hunting together. We ate at Cracker Barrel for breakfast and enjoyed spending time together.
(Sadly I didn't get any very good pictures of Wayne nore me that day)
After breakfast we got a phone call from Hunter's school saying he got hit in the head from a kid who accidentally gees a truck and it caused a bad cut on the back of Hunter's head with bleeding. Thankfully Nanny came to his rescue from for us because we were so far put the way to get to him on time. He was fine after the cut happened and his Nanny took him home with her. I'm so glad it wasn't any worse than what it was!!

We celebrated Wayne's birthday on Sunday. He got lots of great gifts, a Yummy dinner and awesome cake! :)

Helping Daddy blow out the birthday candles.

~~~
While over the weekend I was hard at work going through all of Hunter's toys, paper work, his clothes and organizing his whole entire room. He still had a few baby items laying around his room and as sad as it maybe he's not a baby anymore, so It was time to transform his room into a big boy room! :(
It was a job in a half but I'm so very grateful at how well his room turned out to be. We bought a Cubbie organizer for all his toys/books/puzzles. I divided up his monster trucks from his tractors to all his hot wheel cars and train sets in separate bins. Everything is neatly organized Thanks to this new Cubbie organizer!!
Now he has a lot more room to play and he can find his toys easily every time he wants to play!
Every morning since I've organized all his toys he wakes up saying "Mommy, I want to play" too cute!
Before everything was all dumped into a huge bucket, so he is really proud of what Mommy & Daddy did for him.
We'll also be getting rid of his day bed and making it into a single bed this weekend. So excited!!
*Preparing for Christmas as well!!* :-)
Grandma shipped off an early Christmas present for tootabugs.. check out these ADORABLE insulated overall bibs for Hunting!! He LOVED them! Thanks Grandma!
Proud Isn't even the Word...
more like JEALOUS!!! Ha!
Can you believe this?!? First day of hunting season my husband and I go sit that evening in our stands and he kills a nice 8 point while all I saw were two does! That hubby of mine has got to be the most luckiest man I know (next to my dad) when it comes to huntin'! I didn't believe him of course when he text me around 8 saying he shot at a buck. (we're always picking at one another) Sure enough he came to pick me up from my stand and we headed over to his to search for blood and it lead us right to a nice 8 point. I was so happy for him but of course I was a little jealous! :) He makes me sick when it comes to huntin' sometime's, but you gotta love him! Hehe. This will be continued with me in the picture next time... I hope!
Husband's Eye Surgery
A few weeks ago I made a post about my husband going in for Eye Lazar Surgery. He had surgery done last Wednesday and everything went very well. His Dr. said he did beautifully. Ha. He was a little nervous going in but he's a pretty tuff guy and came out feeling great. Heck I was nervous for him, I got to watch through a little window while they did the eye procedure, that huge clamp they gashed in his eyes, OH MY WORD!
my babe after eye surgery.
He has tof be very cautious with his eyes for the next 3-4 weeks. He can't rub or get any water in his eyes. Has to where goggles during the work day & at night. So far his eyes have healed up well, and he is feeling great. I am so happy for him. No more waking up having to put contacts in every morning and no more glasses! I just thank God everything went well and my husband can see clearly! If anyone has contacts and is tired of dealing with them, go check out Lazar surgery in your area! It will be worth it, I promise!
~~~~~

I have been so behind on a lot of things lately! Is it just me, ordoes the time seem to go by a LOT quicker than what it used to??? I seriously feel like the days aren't long enough, and I don't ever have time to do anything.This year has flown by already, can't believe It's May!

Time is so Precious, so spend it with the ones you love the most and hold your babies a little closer because you wont get that time back!

So I'll leave you with this....

a sleeping baby boy who spends his time snoozing on Mommy & Daddy's bed. Ha!

Country Boy at Heart

We had a pretty low key weekend.Friday I went with Wayne to see an eye lazer specialist. Wayne has been complaining about wearing contacts for as long as I've known him and the job he works at doesn't help his eyes much with all the dirt & chemicals flying in the air. I said I was going to call and make an appointment for him since he "never" seems to want to call himself, figures a woman always has to do a man's job. Ha. Well we went in to see the specialist and I am so happy for my hubby... he'll be having eye surgery on April 27th and can say "Good bye" to contacts & glasses for the rest of his LIFE!! I am beyond excited for him to be able to see like normal people and I know he's going to feel so much better. The good thing about this lazic procedure is it only takes 10 minutes for the surgery and doesn't cost near as much as we thought it would. This will be a huge life experience change for Wayne, so I ask that you please pray for him when he does get ready for his surgery and that all goes well afterwards.

Saturday was a fun filled day for my little tootabugs. He was invited to a birthday party @ Rolly Pollies (which is a preschool gym filled with lots of fun things to do) by his friend from school, Christian who turned 3. Hunter had a BLAST with his buddy at the birthday party. They did all sorts of things like, jumping and sliding down the blow up castle, jumping on trampoline, crawling on monkey bars, walking on the balance beam, hanging from the sky lift and jumping in the foam pit (kinda like the balls but foam blocks),did some rock climbing and so much more. They did this for an hour then the kids ate lunch, and had birthday cake. Hunter really enjoyed himself Thanks to Christian and his sweet family! This is what he did as soon as I drove out the parking lot.... (I didn't get any pictures of the party, oops)

After arriving home and napping 2 hours later we road with Granddaddy out to a hunting club near my Granny's house for him to check out and join.While checking out this hunting club and riding around I snapped some REALLY cute pictures of this handsome little boy..

(notice his belt?? It has his name imprinted in the back and has some trees with a few deer/bucks on it)bought it at the deer classic we went to last weekend =)

"Hi Mommy"

That's our lil' Southern Country Boy at ♥

Sunday we went to church then the boys relaxed most of the day while mommy got to hunt turkeys that evening. The hubby wasn't too happy about that, ha! A girl needs her own time too, whether It's shopping, hanging out with friends or... HUNTING! (I think I'm beginning to be worse than my husband/with hunting all the time even though he was the one who introduced me to hunting ) Ha! Of course I didn't see or hear the first turkey, but it was relaxing being in the woods by myself enjoying God's green Earth and all It's nature!(don't laugh ya'll) :)

Who new that would be me one day hunting! Gotta love it.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend, Happy Monday! Blah. :D

♥ Happy Anniversary ♥

to my wonderful husband & I of 2 years! ♥ I cannot believe It's been 2 years already. Time sure flies when your having fun with the one's you love.
These words are from my Anniversary card my husband gave me this morning....
~When we began our life together, I didn't realize how much I still had to learn about love and marriage. They don't teach it in school. In fact, I don't think it can be taught! It can only be learned over time with someone you really love, someone who's willing to learn it together. Sometimes It's been easy and effortless, with long stretches of happiness and contentment. Other times, we've had our struggles, but through it all we both knew that this is the most important thing we'd ever do, And there's no one else I'd rather do it all with than you!
~Kim, I'm so happy to be spending my life with you. Even in the difficult times, I love you! Thanks for being my wife. I hope we celebrate many more Anniversary's to come. Love you baby! Wayne ♥
It made me a little teary eyed when I read it. You know sometimes my husband doesn't show his love to me every day but I know by this card & his words I am his true love.
If you are interested or not I'd like to write about how we fell in love with each other & how this whole love thing got started. ♥ It's long so be patient. :)
It all started at work, in a boat plant called Scout Boats. I had been working there for about 5 months then. I was dating a guy at the time that I wasn't so sure if I really was "in love" with. As I worked at Scout Boat, Wayne also had been there a good 8 years & we both worked in the same department. I noticed he always caught my attention by singing out loud in one of the boats he was building with his buddies, basically trying to show off. I of course thought it was funny. I felt little pitter patters from my heart when I'd walk pass him. It was definitely the beginning of something. As my boyfriend would come eat lunch with me from time to time in the car , Wayne & his friend would be in his truck a few rows down. They were always trying to get my attention, and make stupid noises while I was eating lunch with my boyfriend. I just couldn't stop grinning at them. I'm sure my boyfriend didn't have a clue why I was smiling so much. :)
Sometimes Wayne & I would have to be in the same boat to fix something, and as we were "working" we would talk a little here & there. Days went by and my boss (which is Wayne's friend) asked me what I thought of Wayne. He said he really liked me & I should give it a try. I was debating because I wasn't sure. For one I was dating someone already, and two I just wasn't sure of him, he was older & I was young. Some more time passed and on this particular day I had a girlfriend of mine came up to me while I was working. Stacey asked what did I think of Wayne? I said I don't know, I like him. She said well he likes you too & wants to know if you want to go out on a date some time. There was no hesitation, I said Yes. As this was going on, Wayne worked right behind me & Stacey was going back & forth from me to him. It was quite silly, but I had this huge smile on my face. We exchanged #'s through Stacey on paper. Basically I thought I was going to use him because he had a nice truck & a boat. Ha! Yea I was a bad girl back then. :) But we ended up going out one Summer weekend in June on his boat at the lake. I have to say that was the best night I'd have in a long time. I was happy. He made me feel so special. After we got back to the landing we shared our first kiss together in his truck, then I drove home.
From there on out we talked on the phone for hours & hours everyday. I was basically in Love & couldn't believe all the things we had in common! I ended up breaking up with my boyfriend after our first date & lets just say I was prone to breaking boys hearts. :( Oops.
From that date on he would drive 45 minutes to my house almost everyday. He met my Grandparents & they fell in love with him. I found out later he was from a well known Christian background which was an A+ in my family's book. Most weekends we would drive to his hunting club & ride around shining for deer, and just talking for hours. He loved hunting & so did I so we new we were right for each other. I ended up meeting his family who also fell in love with me, & I started attending his church every Sunday. My walk with Jesus got closer & closer. About October I moved into his home, yes with his parents. I didn't care because I was in love ladies. :) We traveled to different places that next month or so & on Christmas 07' he proposed to me in our tree stand while we were hunting. YEP! It was so remarkable how he proposed. He was sittng behind me as I was down by his feet up in tree, & he whipped that ring out & asked me to marry him. I said "Yes"! :)
Then come January I went to the Dr. to find out I had a bun in the oven. Whoops. Big shock. Found out I was already 2 1/2 months by then. Yea lets just say that's what happens when you skip a month of birth control pills. Ha. We had no idea what we were going to do by then. But we ended up setting a date for March 2nd to get hitched. We thought that was the best thing we could do before we had this little bean. After a lot of planning & thinking we decided to have a really small wedding. Nothing big because money was tight, just immediate family & friends. We had our pastor marry us at my grandparents house. The reason for having it at my house was because my grandfather was in such a bad shape it was hard for him to leave & besides I didn't want him to miss his baby girl getting married. He was like a father to me. We said our "I do's" and kissed. That was the day of many fun, loving, and crazy adventures to come. We had our baby boy in August, 5 months after our marriage & I couldn't be any prouder! So there's the LONG story of how my Wonderful husband & I got started on this day in 2007!
Only 8 months of dating & we were in love & married! Crazy! :)

I am so grateful God sent Wayne my way, and thankful for the blessings he's blessed us with along our journey. Even though we may have our arguments from time to time & feel like we hate each other, no matter what, we make up & truly love one another.
Wayne I love you with all my heart & nothing can come between us. You are my friend, soul mate, & husband, thank you for the many lesson's you've taught me along the way. Yours truly
Kim A.K.A cuddle bug ♥
