Bless His little Heart ..

Over the weekend we went to visit with my Granny then road four wheelers around my Dad's place. It was so HOT outside that Saturday but this was something tootabugs wanted to do. Of course he didn't take his nap that day, and so this was the out come of our fun four wheeler trip......

Bless his little heart, he fell a sleep right in his Daddy's arms while almost back to my Granny's house. I knew he wouldn't hold up for long once he started closing his eyes & nodding his head down & up. Ha. It was the most precious thing I've ever seen & felt sorry for my little guy.

My baby got his pictures back from his daycare last week! I'm so impressed on how wlll they turned out. My baby looks like a little boy... not so much a baby anymore! To be honest I thought he looked to be 5 in this picture instead of almost 3!!!

Such a handsome little fella! :)

Husband's Eye Surgery

A few weeks ago I made a post about my husband going in for Eye Lazar Surgery. He had surgery done last Wednesday and everything went very well. His Dr. said he did beautifully. Ha. He was a little nervous going in but he's a pretty tuff guy and came out feeling great. Heck I was nervous for him, I got to watch through a little window while they did the eye procedure, that huge clamp they gashed in his eyes, OH MY WORD!

He has tof be very cautious with his eyes for the next 3-4 weeks. He can't rub or get any water in his eyes. Has to where goggles during the work day & at night. So far his eyes have healed up well, and he is feeling great. I am so happy for him. No more waking up having to put contacts in every morning and no more glasses! I just thank God everything went well and my husband can see clearly! If anyone has contacts and is tired of dealing with them, go check out Lazar surgery in your area! It will be worth it, I promise!

I have been so behind on a lot of things lately! Is it just me, ordoes the time seem to go by a LOT quicker than what it used to??? I seriously feel like the days aren't long enough, and I don't ever have time to do anything.This year has flown by already, can't believe It's May!

Time is so Precious, so spend it with the ones you love the most and hold your babies a little closer because you wont get that time back!

Melts my ♥

Last night I went to go cover up my baby & this is exactly how I found him. My little toota bugs is growing up so fast ya'll. I'm going to miss these days. I haven't said much about what all he's been up to lately so I figured I'd post about him instead of what mommy is doing.

We've been so busy since the warm weather has rolled in. Busy playing outdoors all the time. He loves playing with his trucks in the ditch. Every time we go out he has to get on the four-wheeler or the tractor (lawnmower). He has been really sweet lately & has been listening to what we tell him to do. I ask him who is who in the house hold & he'll point to all of us. He can say just about say all of the colors. He sure is smart as a whip, but has a sassy mouth. Hunter I love you so much. You sure do make mommy & daddy smile even on a bad day. Thank you God for blessing Wayne & I with the most precious gift you could have ever given us.


I had stated in my previous post that I had some good news. We sold out truck that we have been wanting to do for so long, and I am so thankful. We needed to get rid of that payment in order to move forward in out near future. I am so excited what God has in store for us. This is just one step closer to God's plans & I'm thrilled! ♥

Oh baby boy why must you get up 3 times a night every night? Lately (pass 2 weeks) this little boy has been waking me up screaming at the top of his lungs. I go to check on him & nothings wrong. Yes he's lost his pacifier & can't find it, but other than that he's fine, not wet or anything. I seriously think It's the beginning of a bad habit that he is tricking his mommy into. See when this first started I would pick him up, give him his pacifier & rock him for a short time (like 2 min) then put him back down. I figured he just needs some comfort from his mommy or maybe he had a bad dream. Well now It's almost beginning to be an every night thing & It's around the same hour of night, 11, 2, & 4! It's driving me insane! I told my husband I think he's playing me & I feel like I'm beginning to spoil him! Not good. So he did this last night & I tried letting him cry it out a few minutes but that didn't work, I went in there & told him I'm not picking him up & stuck his pacifier in his mouth then laid him down. I went back to bed & he was completely fine! I'm not understanding why he's doing this though! Could it be just another phase? Because I sure do know he's going through one right now by not eating a whole lot lately! Stinks! Have any of you mommies dealt with this? And if so can you give me some tips? I'd appreciate it.

Speaking of my boy, this little boy loves Balloons. We went to I-hop last week for National Pancake Day, & he spotted balloons hanging around the restaurant & kept saying "boon". We asked one of the waiters if he we could have one for our son, and Hunter was the only special babe who got a balloon. :)
Wayne took me out to O'Charley's for our Anniversary the other night & we took this picture. Not the best but something to remember our 2nd Anniversary by. :)

Sleeping Baby

Mommy takes lots of pictures of you when your sleeping & most times you have no idea. I just love coming in your room after I know you have fallen asleep to stair at my beautiful baby boy. It's heart breaking to know he has gotten so big so fast.

Hunter is the best thing that has ever happened to us in our lives. I wouldn't trade him for the world! ♥

Last week my baby started sleeping on a mat during nap time at his Daycare. His teacher (Mrs. Tara) said he would lie down on other children's mats as if he wanted to sleep there too, so she asked if it would be okay to try him on his mat. I said go for it. He didn't do so well the first day, but now he's been sleeping great on his mat. Things like this just makes me wish I could be there for him throughout his school days. I want to be there for his 1st of everything. It kind of broke my heart to know he can sleep on a mat now instead of a crib. Such a big boy. He's growing up way too fast for me.

Going Hunting

Just something I had to post before I forget. I had to literally make my son cry to sleep the other night. (I'm sure us mommies have done this a few times before) My baby was so sleepy ya'll, but wouldn't go to sleep. I tried rocking him to sleep but he just wanted to get down and play, but he knows it's bedtime at the same time every night. I finally gave up about 3 times of trying to rock him then had to let him cry to sleep. I think the main thing I felt he was missing that night was his daddy not being there to tell him goodnight. W was hunting that night and came in late so H didn't get to see him. After a few cries and yawns he finally passed out, and I mean he passed out! Ha! Just look at my sleepy baby! Poor thing. Mommies sorry baby!I am super stoked for this weekend! The hubby and I are going on a hunting trip at that plantation I mentioned that we went to a while back. We're staying the night tomorrow night in a beautiful log cabin and hunting tomorrow evening and Saturday morning. I am just praying that we at least get to take some meat home. Ha! (Hunter my love, will be staying with his Nanny and Granddaddy that night, gives mommy and daddy some alone time!) Then of course It's Halloween on Saturday which I cannot wait to show you Hunter's costume as well as see all of your children's adorable costumes. His school/daycare is throwing a Halloween parade for the children tomorrow. They all have to wear there Halloween costumes and since Hunter's class is the young toddlers, they get to ride in the Bye Bye Buggy (like a stroller but bigger with 8 seats)! It's going to be great, I can't wait to take pictures and see his silly expression. Saturday night we'll be taking him to our friends neighbor hood to trick-or-treat so he can get mommy & daddy some candy! :)


It will also be November once Monday comes. Wow, where has the time gone?!? We have so many plans for this month! My husbands birthday is next Wednesday (4th), the fair is in town, the family is taking a mini vacation in Pigeon Forge, TN (cannot wait), my b-day is the 25th and so is my niece Melina's, then of course we can't forget some yummy turkey for Thanksgiving! It's definitely going to be a fun but busy month! Super Excited!
