Fall is in the Air..

I always love this time of year, the GORGEOUS weather, the beautiful colors of fall, boots, hoodies, scarves, bomb fires, the smell of pumpkin spice, the many fun festivities that come along with fall!!
Oh I could go on and on!!
 I have been Pinning a LOT on Pinterest lately and came across the cutest decors for our home (which we still do not have to ourselves.. :{ ) , yummy recipes I will be trying, and the cutest fall fashion. Ah.. if only I had money to do everything I see. Ha!
I did manage to make a cute decor out of yard sticks, acorns, gumballs, leaves, ribbon and a glass vase!
Not bad eh?!?
Anyways here's a little something to start the weekend off just right, my silly little monkey boy....
He's such a silly little boy that I love so much, even if he does drive me insane! Ha!
Happy Friday y'all!!

Um... Yeah

The pictures below pretty much sums up the title of my post today Ha.
Can't you tell someone was being Goofy
Silly
Funny
And Um.. yeah..
No words for this picture. Ha!
~~~
I have a few things I’d like to catch up on before I forget bc I’m bad about that!
*Over the past weekend our baby girl (you didn’t know we had a girl?What?), let me rephrase that, our Dixie “chicken” girl laid a few eggs over the weekend and we were so thrilled. Ha! We have a mini farm going on around here lately and It just makes me happy to know we are living off what our animals produce. And they were yummy!
*Hubby and I got called in for a meeting with Hunter’s teacher and the manager of his daycare last Friday. Hunter brought home a Probation Notice stating if he doesn’t straighten up his behavior within the next 2 weeks of school he will be band from this daycare!! I was SO upset about all of this that I could not stop crying over and over. I was already having a bad day/week due to my hormones being all out of whack plus I was just in a huge depression mode, and then I read this and my heart just dropped…
Hunter can be so sweet some days, listens to what he’s told, but other days he is a HORRIBLE listener and sometimes Mommy gets VERY stressed out and yells at him and that doesn’t make it any better for him. I never realized how hard it was to raise a 3yr old more less go through the terrible 2’s but 3’s are MUCH WORSE! We spoke with his teacher on ways we can adjust to a few changes. They say Hunter is very smart, a big helper, can be sweet and loves to help but some days, he wont listen to his teacher and he brings home bad reports through out the week, almost every day. We’ve come to the conclusion that when he does misbehave It’s when him and his best friend, D gets together, they seem to do what the other one does and not listen.
Y’all, Please pray for us as parents that we can coup with Hunter and his needs and wants. Pray for patience for not only us but his teacher as well. Pray that Hunter will show an improvement within the next few days.
*Monday he did very well, his bf wasn’t there either so it helped a lot) Praying today went well with the returning of his bf.
*Easter is right around the corner, and so I made this over the weekend...
I also made 4 other Easter wreaths, I'm going to try sell some if that's possible.
Anyone who's interested in one, let me know.
Happy Tuesday! 3 days left til Friday, Miranda Lambert concert, cannot wait!! :)
Fall Wreath Anyone?!?
As most of you may know, I've been using my craftiness to hand make these Fall wreaths over the past 2 weeks. I am so Thankful I discovered Pinterest a few weeks ago [ yeah I'm a late jumping on the band wagon when it comes to discovery these things ha] thanks to all you Blogging ladies!
I am so happy with the way they turned out and can't wait to make more!!!!
I fell in love with this one the most....
This wreath is made from a grapevine wreath attached with handmade fabric flowers, a few decorations, and finished with a bow!!
My yarn ball wreath...
This wreath is made out styrofoam balls wrapped in yarn attached to 3 wire hangers (I made myself) finished with some decorations and a bow! To be honest with you, this wreath didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. Had to many out of place balls , didn't use enough, and it didn't form a circle like I wanted it to. Overall I thought it was okay being it was my first one made!
So what do you ladies think, which one is your favorite?!?
Feedback would be great!
~~~
I've also made an Easter wreath in the past year that turned out quite lovely as well.
Click on link below. (can't get my smartphone to select a certain word to link up to)

I'm looking forward to making many more of these adorable wreaths in the near future for other holidays!!
So keep a look out.

Easter Egg Hunt ~ Weekend Recap

I want to Thank all of you ladies who made a comment on my last post! It means a lot to me when I see that I have so much love coming from women I've never even met before but can be here for me through the ruff times. Your words have encouraged me & I'm feeling the best I've felt in a while thanks to the good Lord up above. ♥
~

On Friday our church held an Easter Egg hunt for all the pre-schoolers at our local park. Thankfully I already had the day off for Hunter to attend, and I'm glad we went. While we waited for everyone to arrive we had some fun playing on the play ground. Hunter wore his new Easter Egg shirt Mommy made him. :) There were also activities for the children to do, like getting there face painted.

"See Mommy." I just A-D-O-R-E this picture.

Then it was time for the Easter Egg hunt.

After hunting for eggs and winning a cool prize, he got to meet a friendly clown who told all about Easter and made really neat balloons for the children. Hunter looked a litte nervous. Ha.

See that smirk. Gotta love it.
Hunter had an awesome time and really enjoyed himself. He crashed as soon as we got home. :)

Friday evening after Hunter's nap, his Aunt Tammy picked him up from the house and he got to spend the evening with his cousins. He also got to spend his first night away from Mommy & Daddy. His Aunt Tammy & Uncle Bubbie offered to keep him over night while we went hunting Saturday morning. I have to say it sure was nice and peaceful with him not being home. He did very good sleeping all night and woke them up bright and early at 6 o'clock. Ha. While Daddy & I decided to just sleep in that morning instead of hunt, and we didn't roll out the bed until 11 o'clock. I couldn't believe that, but it sure felt amazing to lounge in bed most of the morning. :) Haven't done that in a LONG time!! We were starting to miss him just a little bit, ha, so we picked him up and he was so happy to see us but he was also very EXHAUSTED. so he passed out right before we got home.

Climbing in the trees with his cousins.

Monkey's swinging in the tree, oops I mean Melina & Darren. =)

While Hunter was napping, I made this Beautiful Easter wreath. This was my first time attempting to make something like this, I've always enjoyed making crafty things and said I'd give it a try. My wreath turned out so cute & I was very pleased with the out come. Spending only a little less than $5 makes for a great decoration for your home or gift.

Sunday was a VERY stressful day. My son didn't want to listen to me AT ALL that morning!! He made me so stressed out while getting ready for church & teaching his Sunday School class (which I will NEVER teach his class again) that I didn't stay for church. I know that's not an excuse but I didn't feel like I would go into church very angry. I seriously had a nervous break down. I didn't realize how difficult it would be to raise a 2 year old! Potty training, the tantrums, the back talk, the hitting, not listening!!! Geez you'd think we didn't discipline him huh?!? Ya'll he was driving me crazy. After all this, I learned to back down from potty training for a while until he's ready, and cool off before approaching him. I'm a much happier Mommy after I read a bunch of topics on other family's 2 year old's.

Of course he ended up being sweet that Sunday evening. He got to ride his four wheeler and did a few mud slides in the yard. Looking sweet and innocent. Ha. :)

That raps up our weekend! Ya'll have a wonderful week. Short work week for me, work three days, off for four!! Thank God for a wonderful job and this coming Good Friday!!! Wink ;)
