A couple of weeks ago my mother-n-law found this precious stuffed wolf for our son. I can't recall where she bought it from, but I have to say I believe It's Hunter's security. I We Named him REX!!! It is so soft and fluffy. He wont go anywhere without it now. I just think that's the sweetest thing. I love the fact that we found his special "security" that he can hold onto. You know every baby has to have one. Whenever I pick him up in my arms, I give him Rex, and he lye's his head on him as a pillow on my chest. It's so adorable. Makes me smile when I see him with it. See for yourself.....

My husband had a special blanket when he was a baby and that same blanket is in fairly good condition. We decided to pass it on to Hunter, so maybe he can pass it onto his babies "one day". It would be a great legend type thing. We tried letting him hold onto his Binky for security/comfort, but he didn't love it as much as he has Rex!
Did any of you ladies or your family have a special comfort/security that you carried around everywhere you went as a baby? Please do tell!
Update/sidenote: I found out today while Hunter got dropped off by my friend, she said, he walked across the room, laid his head on the floor with Rex and started whimpering. Poor baby. His teacher, Miss Tara, said he doesn't go anywhere in the room without it. Tara said that he always has to have it even when he’s playing. If he doesn’t have it, he will go around looking for it. How precious is that. That made my day when she told me this. Such a sweet boy! ♥

9 people had something to say!:
So cute!! Hunter looks like such a happy guy :)
I had a blanket too, called my "Nonnie." it's really special to me because my grandma knitted it when i was born and she died when I was 2. I was so attached to it- I couldn't sleep without it until I was 7 years old!
Oh goodness, how cute is that!!!! My little one has a favorite crocheted blanket, I think he likes the way it feels.
So precious!!! :)
How sweet. I love his face in that last pic.
I had a doll named Bobby that I carried EVERYWHERE with me. I still have him to this day.
I am so glad that Hunter likes the wolf. I bought it at Family Dollar, so you know I had to have paid a lot. (Ha Ha)
Cute pictures.
Love, Kat
ha, love it!!
i have a blanket that i sleep with every night and carry all over my house...i'm still a baby!! haha!!
it's not a baby blanket, just a blanket i've had for the past 10 years...i'm attached to it ;)
Awe! THat is sooo sweet. Those pictures are the cutest.
Autumn has a doggy like that. I am sure it is all over my blog. She has been carrying it everywhere for at least a year in a half. It is soo dirty and I am constantly having to wash it. There is hardly any filling left in it, the shape is all messed up, and there is a hole under one arm but she doesn't care. The neat thing is, I actually gave it to Dustin one Christmas when we were in high school!
My son had a toy tiger who he affectionately named TT. My son is now 25 and moved out this past Aug. and TT is still downstairs keeping guard. I think at this point, I love TT more than my son does and gives me a piece of him to hold on to..for now..
awww, how sweet! I didn't really have anything I carried around, not at that age anyways. My daughter carried (and still often does) a squishy yellow bear named Boo everywhere we went. That poor bear is about to fall apart now, I am afraid to wash it!
