Just a recap of mine.
Friday I took Hunter to the day care for the day while mommy shopped for a few fall/winter clothes that I desperately needed. I wanted a cute fall dress and found this gorgeous dress at Target! I ♥ Target! Mind you it's very rare I get to splurge on myself so this was exciting looking for new clothes! I bought another dress as well that's less revealing and more for cooler weather than this one! [I'll have to show pics later]

As I go to the daycare after shopping to pick up tootabugs, he has a note that the teacher attached to his daily paper. He got bitten from another student! I asked the teacher who did it [not that I was going to hurt the child or anything], she told me she couldn't say bc of school policy. I was like, well okay.
Poor thing. That child must have hurt my baby and got a good chunk, bc you could see the bite mark just as clear as ever on his right arm right where your arm creases. I told my baby to bite back next time! Ha! j/k :D
I didn't do a whole lot over the weekend. Just did a lot of shopping, and visited my brothers new apartment he just moved into on Saturday night. Cleaned as usual. Saturday night my husband went gator hunting til 3 a.m in the morning, so crazy! He didn't get anything. I stayed up and watched the Georgia Bulldawgs vs/ USC Gamecocks game! I tell you that was a good game!!! Of course I'm no longer a Gamecock fan, [married into a huge Clemson family] but we route for Georgia as well! Go Bulldawgs!!!

Sunday morning my husband slept in, of course, and I went to church. That service I think was talking about me. The preacher preached on being a follower of Jesus. Mark 8:34 "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me."
I must forget about myself, and pick up my things and follow Jesus Christ! "I" must be the leader and "I" must do this on my own and "follow" Jesus!
It's such a difficult thing to do though.
I have fallen behind on following Jesus. I feel like I pray just to pray but it has no meaning behind it. I try to be someone I'm not. I need some inspiration. Yes my husband is there for me but I feel like he has given up and we both need prayer. I say I want to join a Sunday school but scared to do it on my own. I'm sure what I say here doesn't make a bit of cents but I don't know how to describe or word it. If you could give me a hand here and email me for support that would be appreciative. My blogger friends & family inspire me in so many ways & I thank you all!

Hey, thanks for stopping by my blog! (Don't you just love Patti? She's so sweet!) Your little man is SO cute! He's got blue eyes like my little guy, and they're just so gosh darn cute.
I love the verse you shared. You know what the wonderful thing about Christ is? All He asks is that we keep our faith wholly and completely in Him. We can't serve Him through our own means, we have to realize it's not about trying hard to do this or that, it's about trusting Him 100% - keeping our eyes on Him 100% - knowing that He perfects that which concerns us and when we surrender our selves and what we think we have to offer, He can renew and make us into what He wants us to be. We can't go it alone though, and boy do we ALL have rough areas. But, He loves us enough to shape and mold us into the women and mothers we need to be. Get in the Word, pray that He'll make it alive to you, and the rest will come. :)
Don't you love to see their chubby little fingers pointing at things! I just love those pictures!
Girl, I'm praying for you. Just don't beat yourself up about it. God's got you and your husband in the Palm of his hand!!
And Hunter is just too doggone cute!!!!! :)
Hi Kim! It is nice to meet you through this blog world : )! We live close to each other! Your Hunter is adorable!!! Target is my favorite place to shop - I love the dress. I am sure going to church without your husband is a tough thing. I think we have all been in places of not feeling like we desire God. I read an awesome book that talks about it..."When I Don't Desire God" by John Piper. If you are a reader, read it! I am sure you would be encouraged and challenged by it! Meanwhile, I will say a prayer for your sweet family.
i think you should TOTALLY join a sunday school class or a small group or anything like that that's available. especially with people around your same age... it helps so much to have that support group!
i'll be praying for you!!
