Saturday we took Hunter to the zoo for the first time. He absolutely LOVED it. The weather was nice and cool HOT out and we got there right when they opened, 9 a.m. We went with friends of ours, Kim & Tighe and there two kids. This was there first time at this zoo too, since they've recently moved from Florida.

Hunter got to see all kinds of animals. He was such a good boy. I thought it might be a hassle bringing an 8 month baby to the zoo, but it worked out well. Hunter stayed awake most of the time. When we went to the gardens he fell asleep for an hour, then was well rested. Wayne & I bought him a souvenir monkey to take home, well I had it attached to the top of stroller and some how it went missing. We think someone must have stolen it, because there was no way it could have dropped from where it was at. So we ended up buying him another one before we left. We had a great time, and I'm so glad Hunter got to enjoy it. Now I can't wait for him to actually get a bit older so he can know whats going on around him.

Do you guys live close to the Riverbanks zoo? It's about 15 mins from us and YES you are right.. It was super HOT. Hopefully it will be a little cooler this weekend. Have a great day.
