17 Months

Another month has come & gone. My baby is 17 months today. :(
Here is what Hunter has been up to lately (mostly he's been up to the same ole' for the past month):

• helps mama vacuums with your "lawnmower"
• says all kinds of things, here are a few new words, bath, buck, a-doe (Shadow), woof, yow (meow for cat), oooh (moo for cow), e-up (giddy-up)
• you have been clicking your tongue together making all kinds of silly noises & you've been babbling your lips making some noises
• says "vruumm" when you play with your trucks
• you love trucks, every time you see one your eyes light up & you say "Truck"
• you also love getting into any little mud/water puddle when you see one
• you have figured out where your "pee-pee" is when we ask you, you'll grab diaper (silly boy)
• you have moved from a crib to a sleeping mat at daycare now
• starting Monday you'll be headed to the kitchen for lunch instead of in your classroom at daycare
• you have wrestled on two kids from your school and got in trouble for it (not really but u know)
• got a new haircut, that was your 3rd professional but mommy has trimmed it at least 4 times
• you like to talk on your play phone a lot, your just like your mama :)

Hunter you are learning so much so fast. I know I say this all the time but you mean everything to mommy & daddy. Life wouldn't be the same without you!

I love it when you cuddle up next to us when your sleepy or just want to be held. You love for someone to chase you then you come back and tackle them on the floor. Your our little dare-devil. I think by time your age 5, your going to be a professional deer hunter. Every single deer you see, no matter if its a tiny object in a picture or on a shirt you know that's a deer & your going to shoot it. That's our boy! Sometimes you play too ruff and like to head bud me or whoever, then you like to pull hair which isn't nice. You hurt mommy even though you may not know it.

I know I yell at you sometimes because you don't listen, & it hurts your feelings but I don't mean to. I know your just trying to help & still learning. Mommy just gets frustrated sometimes, but I am going to work on that more, I'm sorry & love you. :) Mommy & Daddy cannot wait for this upcoming year with you. We have a lot planned like, taking you to see the Monster Trucks at the Coliseum next month, we're going to visit all the animals at the zoo again, but this year you'll love it a LOT more than last. We're going to go swimming all summer long, at the beach, lake, wherever, do a little fishing, ride on a boat, oh I just cannot wait for it to start warming up so we can have some fun outside. Your going to love it.

My heart is broken that you are growing up so fast but I'm also happy that we can do a lot more together since you've gotten bigger. Son I love you & am very proud to be called your mama! ♥

I have to share this, my husband & I were in our room the other night, and Mr. Big-shot was in his. He came busted up in our room looking like a little gangsta wearing this hat. Haha. I could not stop laughing. I guess you can say he has learned to put his hat on. :)
