Visiting Family

Friday I stayed home all day and wrapped presents while Hunter was in daycare. That was fun because I didn't realize the things we had bought him, half of it I forgot all about. When I picked him up, Hunter made us a Christmas card, too cute, & his teachers gave Mommy & Daddy this gift.

It ended up being two books for Hunter/us to read. I re-wrapped it so Hunter could open it for Christmas.

This past weekend we visited with Wayne's family in Greer, SC. Every year they get together and have dinner before Christmas. We had a great time & ate so much wonderful food! It was more of a challenge this year with Hunter since he can walk now. He went everywhere in Uncle Sonny's house. Especially the stairway was his Favorite part of the house, he loved it.

This is Camden, Hunter's cousin who is 6 months older than him.

These two boys had a great time together

Family picture we took before we left.
As you may or may not know, a BAD snow storm came in over the weekend, Thursday night, in the upper state. Since we were only about 20 minutes away from seeing the snow, we took a ride up to the NC border line & stopped at the wrest area to play in the snow for a little while. It was so amazing to see all that snow! I haven't seen snow like this in a LONG time, so I was very happy about seeing it! Hunter was a little iffy at first, but then he loved it. It was so COLD!!!

I ♥ this picture!

he ate some of it

then he wasn't so sure about it

but he loved it

On our way back to SC we stopped & took a picture to show that It had in deed snowed in SC! :)
I just wish it would snow like this at our house from time to time. You probably think I'm crazy but we hardly ever see snow! :(
This week is Christmas & I have to say that I am so ready for it! I cannot wait to see my baby open up all his presents & most importantly celebrating Jesus's birthday! ♥ This year has gone by so fast & has brought me a lot of challenges to face through out the year. I'm praying & hoping 2010 will be much better than this year! I'm making some changes & praying for the best.
