Overwhelmed

It's been a little crazy in my world it seems these past few weeks. My son is getting sick every week or has been for the past 3 weeks. First he had the swine flu, then he had bad diapers cause of teething, now he has strep throat. It seems as if my poor baby and me can't ever catch a break. This is one thing I dislike about day cares, there sick 24/7! I wish soo bad I could be a stay-at-home-mom to my baby. Why can't it be like the old days when women stayed home to cook and clean and take care of there babies and the husbands work. Ugh, this is so frustrating. I have missed so much work because of this, (which my son comes 1st no matter what), but dang, I feel like I'll never get a week in without missing a day. I kinda feel bad. Oh well, he is at home with his granddaddy today until his fever and throat heals. Praying that he is okay with him today and gets better soon!

Now, back to reality. Over the weekend I went gator hunting with the guys on Friday night (yes this will be the last time you here about gator hunting for a while), we saw a bunch of gators, but nothing worth killing. We did catch a 5 footer, but let it go. It was so amazingly exciting catching that gator. We ended up crawling in bed a 3 a.m, not a fan of that at all!!!
Didn't do too much this past weekend but relaxed most of the time, it was one of those lazy weekends. Hunter helped out in the yard a good bit this weekend. He has his own little rake, he was helping daddy put down some dirt for the yard where our new shed will be at.
Here's a few photo's of him helping out! Such a big boy!

Dirty Butt :)

My son cracks me up. He has learned to talk a lot more than usual lately, and every time you ask him something or tell him something, he responds to "huh"! It is so funny, but goodness does he talk your ear off. haha Just thought I'd share that. :)

8 sweet friend had something to say:

Sorry you're having the runaround with sickness. Daycares are unfortunately breeding grounds to all sorts of sickies. Maybe one day you'll be able to stay home with him. :)
Love that picture of his dirty bottom, too cute!

I am SO sorry that Hunter has been sick. Emerysn has had a lingering cold and it just pains my heart to see her red eyes and overall run down look. I hope that Hunter is able to fully heal and develop immunities against the colds and flus out there. Did he get a flu shot?
