Today we got up early to head out to Cross to visit with my granny. We wanted to go fishing after we visited Granny so we packed all of our fishing stuff & a lot of toys for Hunter to stay occupied with. We arrived about 9 a.m. and Granny had us breakfast made. It was so yummy, grits, eggs, & sausage the best! Hunter got to eat a few eggs & grits himself.
Hunter was getting a little bit sleepy so his Great Granny rocked him to sleep. I had to get a picture of this. :)

Then a few minutes later we packed and headed out to go fishing for a while. We drove to the Hatchery, a lake near Moncks Corner. When we arrived, there were so many people lined up on the bank that there was hardly any space for us to fish. Wayne got a little ticked because of this, so did I, but we found a spot under some trees. I laid Hunters blanket out, along with some toys. Wayne & I fished for a few minutes and realized no fish were biting. What a waste of time. It sucked having to look forward to a great day of fishing, and then realize we didn't have any luck. All in all we stayed for 15 minutes and left. That was fun (sarcasm).
We drove back home, and played out in the yard for the rest of the evening. Wayne cut the grass because it was starting to get a little bit high.
So that was our fun Friday.

2 sweet friend had something to say:
My husband keeps saying he wants to go fishing but we haven't been. He used to do it as a kid all the time but hasn't in forever. Last time we went Lucas was 3 and Jacob was a baby...it was insane!!!!! :)
I kept wondering why I wasn't getting updates for your blog then when you commented this morning and I popped over I realized I wasn't signed up to follow....I'm losing it!!! I'm signed up now :)
Hey! We didn't actually install her car seat quite yet...wanting to get as much use out of her infant seat as possible. I am not sure when we will install it, probably in the next couple of months. 22lbs, wow! Emersyn was almost 17lbs at her 7 month appt. Crazy! :) It is amazing how that little of a person can be so heavy. I went to a sale where they didn't allow strollers so I had to carry Emers and I thought my arms were going to fall off from the burning.
Thank you for complimenting her name. We love it too, totally fits her personality. The other names that we had chosen for a girl were very traditional, Natalie, Elisabeth, Evelyn. Emersyn was a random one in the mix but when I found out that I was having a girl, I just could feel that she was an Emersyn. :) Carilina is beautiful, goes well with Hunter too.
So fun to follow someone with the same age baby! I am glad I stumbled onto your blog! :) :)
