"One fell down & bumped his head.....

First let me say that I have been meaning to post this handsome picture of Hunter all week now, but haven't gotten around to it. Daddy was trying to change his diaper the other day and of course Hunter did not want this. Instead he wanted to be a squirm'er and roll around on the floor. I told Wayne I had to get a picture of his cute naked butt! :)

He will probably be happy mad at me for posting this one day, but for now lets just enjoy his cutey patootie!

Last night I went home to see that Hunter wasn't feeling so well. He has been constipated lately, and it seems his tummy was hurting him. I drove to the grocery store to buy some prune juice for his tummy, because I didn't have any on hand (bad mommy I know).
I gave him a bath then put his BIG boy pajamas on him. I took these pictures to show he can stand up now and to show his pajamas off. As I was taking his pictures, I set the camera down for a quick second and turned around then a loud boom hit the floor. I was frantic to see my son had fell off the stand and hit his head on floor. He screamed to the top of his lungs. I was so scared and sorry that I had turned my back to him in that second. I held him close to me and looked at his head. It felt like he had a small bump but nothing serious. I put some ice on it to help the swelling. And he was so happy because he could stand up before he fell down!
Daddy came out the shower, and I asked did he hear a big bang, he said yea, I said that was your son's head that hit the floor. He got really scared, then held Hunter close to him.
Hunter seemed fine after maybe 5 minutes of this happening. He was smiling again and acting his normal self.
This still concerned me and Wayne.
You just hear so many story's about babies hitting there heads or just something happening.
Wayne put him to bed for me as I got in the shower. When I got out of the shower, I found Wayne in the bedroom looking over Hunter in his crib while he was sleeping. I asked what he was doing, he said he was just making sure he was okay, and breathing fine.
I have never seen this side of Wayne being so concerned about Hunter in the way he was last night. Wayne actually was crying, worried & hoping nothing was wrong with Hunter.
I told Wayne I think he'll be fine, he seemed okay before we laid him down.
I didn't even get this concerned as Wayne did. Shocking.
Our baby is fine though. He got up this morning all wide eyed and smiling.
Thank you Lord for protecting him.

*Tanning*
For the past couple of weeks now I have been wanting to go tan in the tanning bed. I know its not good for me or anyone, but I haven't had a tan in almost 2 years because of me being pregnant. I actually haven't had the money to afford to go. I don't want to look all black or nothing like that so that my skin looks leathery. Just a normal tan.
Anyways, as Wayne & I laid in bed last night he told me he was going over to his buddy Dave's house Saturday evening. He was going to help work on his truck.
Wayne & him got to talking, and some how another got on the subject of tanning beds.
Wayne told me that Dave had a tanning bed that he bought brand new and hasn't yet used it since he's bought it in a couple of years. Wayne told Dave I had been wanting to go tan for a while now. Dave told Wayne he would set it up in his spare bedroom this weekend, and I could come over whenever I want. By the way if your concerned about me being in this guys house in a bikini by myself, no need to worry. Dave has a wonderful wife Nancy who I met 2 years ago. They are really great friends of Wayne & I. We just don't go out much. They are so sweet and nice to us.
Anyways now I get to tan for FREE! Yip,eeh. I can't wait. I'm all excited now. lol
Have a nice Thursday.

I, personally, love tanning beds! To me, it's the most relaxing 20 mins I ever got! I haven't done that in years, myself, but would love it!
When my son was a baby, from about 9 months until about 2 y/o, every picture I have of him, he has a knot with a bruise on his head! Boys are just like that I guess, I wouldn't worry too much;)
Glad you stopped by my blog so I could come check you out - I'll be back!

I'm so glad your little boy was fine. Gosh, I have had moments like that with both my kids and it's one of the worst feelings.

LOVE me some tanning beds. My chunkyness always looks so much better tanned, lol.

Such cute pictures. I'm glad he did not pee on that carpet.
That was sweet about Wayne being so worried about Hunter. I've raised a good son! But, I was worried about you. I knew you felt bad. This will be the first of many. You are such a good mother! I'm so happy the good Lord put you and Wayne together!
Love you lots, Kat
