It felt like we were dating all over again...
I'll never forget our mini get away from this past weekend. Wayne & I had the most fun we've had in a long time celebrating our 3 year Anniversary. It started off Friday night when we arrived to our Hotel in Mt. Pleasant., checked into the room around 5 and unpacked most of our things. Then we were starving so we went to the restaurant... California Dreaming in James Island. It was the most romantic night eating dinner with my love. We were seated right next to the beautiful water. After an hour & lots of $ spent later, we headed down town Charleston to walk around. We spent most of the night caught up in each others conversation relaxing at the Market St. Saloon.
We had a blast & I loved every minute of it!!!
(just a few pics of the two of us, Ha)
I absolutely LOVE this last pic of us & my hair looked AMAZING. Ha!
Saturday morning we got to sleep in.... YES,Finally. =)
We lounged around most of the morning until check out time @ 11. Before headed home we walked the new Aurthur Ravenel Bridge in Mt. Pleasant for the first time. It was a lot of fun & very windy. Ha. But it was extremely nice looking out into the water & seeing all those boats. Made me want to go fishing. :D
Couple of photos I took...
You see how windy it was by my hair, right?
Of course we couldn't let one minute go by and not think of our little Tootabugs. We were thinking of all the things he would have said a million times while on the bridge and Wayne & I would say things like "tractor daddy" to each other every time we saw something that reminded us of hi. We missed him while gone for the night but boy it sure was relaxing for the time being. Besides, we new he was having a blast anyways while his cousins had a sleep over with him for the first time and he could probably care less whether we were there or not. Ha! Thanks to Nanny & G-daddy for watching him for us, or shall I say Thanks Melina. =) We are so blessed to have them in our lives.
After walking the bridge, we went out to eat for lunch then went into Tuesday Morning (like a consignment store) and bought Hunter a few things. We couldn't resist not bringing him home something. Guess It's one of those things about being an only child & spoiling him to death every time u walk into the store. =)
Felt good to be home, I guess. Haha. Took a nap that evening along with little man, then played outside for the evening.
Sunday we went to church then did a WHOLE LOT OF NOTHING! Just my kind of Sunday.

1 sweet friend had something to say:
What a great little getaway! :)
